Saw it yesterday, and it was how I expected: poor. I think Hanks does a good job as an actor, and the female lead (I forget her name >.<) is an extremely good actor in the film, and some of the cinematography from Ron Howard is nice to see. However, they are just let down by the story's plot, or rather lack of a plot, and its content. I mean, it's pretty abysmal stuff. It really is airport trash novel material. Lacking a compelling protagonist, an enveloping story, amongst others. And I'm looking past all the contoversy, I'm trying to see the film for what it is; fiction. But it just fails, and I have to say, fails pretty miserably.
