Psychologists told children they had been lost in a store at an early age (when they hadn't). The results show that most of the children began to "remember" the experience and things like sounds, what they were wearing. Even after being told it never happened, some children still insisted they had been lost, despite never knowing prior to being told. Hope this isn't you ;)
