  1. That and the invigorating green shower gel (still on sale) really do work. Might be psychological, but meh, twas good enough for me.
  2. This means more series of the Simple Life. The next one is in jail, I heard.
  3. I'm going to have to pass, upon the threat of a potential nudge war breaking out, which would result in me decapitating you all.
  4. How does this stuff even make the news? We've already had 3 better theories alone on this thread. Tip.it should have its own box office!
  5. It was parked the right way, ruling out a southern vehicle.
  6. I think their captain is having a trial with a big club soon as well. Hopefully, the team ca continue to inspire the nation with hope. Funny thing, football.
  7. Despite me living in Liverpool, I've never had anything stolen. Go figure.
  8. I think I found my calling in life : The last 3 weeks, I was in a part of the world called Cranbrook, with 42 foreign 8-12 year old students teaching English. The whole thing was surreal, as I was a last minute replacement - but it was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Waking up at 7am with the kids in a lodge, getting them to breakfast at 8, lessons from 9.30-12.30, afternoon activities from 1.30 till 5.30, a big massive activity of capture the flag, challenges involving pies, bananas and mustard or something else in the evening, putting them to bed at 9.30 and cramming in planning until midnight. Then we do it all again! It was so much fun and it really was an eye opener. The one thing these very intelligent kids had in common was English - Taiwanese, Brazilians, Portugese, Germans, Russians, Kuwaitis, Indonesians, Italians - all communicated in this one language. It made me really think how global everything is and how lucky I was to be in the situation to teach the language I hitherto took for granted. Learning the different cultures first hand (being called Teacher Tom was infectious) really shattered a lot of my naivety. Kids from different countries are just kids like anywhere else - wanting to mess around, play games and have a good time. In that sense, I'd say I'm still a kid. So yeah, basically, if you were wondering if I'd fallen down a well, I hadn't, I was doing this. And, if you wonder what you could do in the summer or possibly as a career, give this a go. It's smegging brilliant! :D
  9. You're on a PC right now, aren't you? Yes, but why should I care if he isn't the richest guy anymore? I'm not seeing how his loss of status as "the richest man in America" is directly related to my life at the moment. It was said in gest. You should try lightening up a little.
  10. So, how did the show go? :)
  11. It's all about Wenger staying. That's what makes him and Ferguson a cut above Mourinho and the rest - taking a doldrum team into champions. Hopefully, Benitez will join them. Dr. Silver looks good, but you have to be careful with players coming from leagues like that - remember Mario Lardel and Bolton? Although, he has youth and pace on his side, and I hear he was impressive and score dagainst England for Croatia (yes, he's Croatian. No Joke)
  12. QFT. And for that reason, never go clubbing with a girl. My mate had to go home the other day because the girl he was out with "Wasn't getting enough attention and the DJ wasn't interested in me". I swear, sometimes...
  13. You're on a PC right now, aren't you?
  14. I thought 50% of America was experiencing a massive heatwave? Or was Charlie Gibson just lying to me again :(

If it's proper concussion the medical mandatory is 2 weeks. Effectively, your brain is bruised and another blow before it heals can kill you.
  16. You're right about the players we need, but I think if we can get them we can mount a challenge. A lot depends on the start of the season. The last 3 starts have not been good enough. Simple as. We need 15 from the first 18 - because come mid season, when Chelski and Man Yoo start motoring through their easy fixtures (again), we'll need to be with them. Don't know how Arsenal are going to do, tbh. They need a proven finisher and fast. Someone who's done it, experienced and relatively cheap, taking into account their debt. But with all the speculation over the players, board and manager, it will either galvanise them and make them real challengers, are cripple them. Most of me thinks it will be the latter.
  17. 2 words: Strawberry Cheesecake. I'm not talking about the dessert. If it needs explaining to you, then you don't deserve to hear it.
  18. My God...I don't know what clubs some of you have been to, either that or you're completely ignorant, but not everything is all doom and gloom. Jesus H Christ, lighten up, people.
  19. Carlos Slim? Are you freakin' kidding me? Carlos Slim?! Nuh uh. No way. No one on this Earth can be called that.
  20. I'm taller than anything on Earth, but I cannot be seen. What am I?
  21. Woah woah woah sweet child of mine! How wrong can you be?! :o She might look nice in the club, but the next morning? Yeowza! Help! She might sound sweet and innocent but she's after your wallet/jeans/head! Goodness! She might be an 18 year old girl, but the... You get the idea. Clubs can be very, very deceiving.
  22. HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! Haahahaha! Stop! Stop everything!! Oh my word, that's funny than the arse hair thread. Pwahahaha!
  23. Meh, looks like another Kuyt, tbh. Great work rate, good in the air, very good link up man, iffy finishing. Good to have another man like that though, and he was free, so no complaints here. I tell you what though, Chelski's free transfer of Pizzarro is a great, great buy. Quality player for nothing and I think he could do really well...if he gets game time.
  24. I first went when 15 - although it seems a lot stricter now. You'll love it, mate. I've been on an alcohol hiatus (medical induced) for about 12 months now, but still go whenever I can. The banter's brilliant, the talent can sometimes be brilliant and most of all, it's a great get together with mates. You'll have lots of nervouse energy the first time and so on as long as you're under age - I miss that. Seriously. Getting in when you're like "Hoh yeah! I'm really 15" is awesome, makes it even better :) But it's fun now nevertheless. Don't try and act all cool and suave, just have a good time, let your hair down, so to speak. Who cares if you do something embarrassing, chances are you'll never see 90% of the club again...except maybe the bouncers :P Trust me, once you go once, you'll want to go back, so, spending money on clubbing clothes aint that bad, just wear them next time! What kind of clubs you going to? Hope you have a good time! :D
