Our school requires us to have some sort of graphing calc from about the Geometry or Algebra 2 level. Whereas you could make a case for it either not being needed, a waste of money, or whatever, I'm glad my school encourages their use, lol. It may be an American thing, I just dont know why other nationalities would make it as rough on themselves :wink: J272

Once, I was 'cleaning' a piece of wood, by sawing off some of the smaller branches from the main piece....mmm kai? Anyways-ss....I was cutting one off that was giving me a bit of trouble, holding the bow saw in my right hand and the wood (right under the branch being cut) with my left. I finally got it off....and just kept going, sawing right into my left hand on top of my left index knuckle :roll: J272

Ooooh ya....I use mine to write programs for synthetic division, quadratic equ. stuff, and calculus functions, plus, we have to graph stuff every day....Which makes everything tons easier.... If you dont use yours much, then you will later....or you have really easy classes :roll: J272

I can only imagine that this was just a (cheap)way to keep you from gaming during class, and that 6 months crap was only for the sake of intracacy :? Its dumb that they would try to pull that on someone....if they are trying to "pull" it that is.... I also have Mirage since ION was too basic of a shell for me....Otherwise, I havent had any problem running my games AND mathematical and scientific programs on it for about 3 years as well.... J272

Weeelll....One day, me and a bunch of my friends decided to play "Extreme 500"......like.....500.......but..........Extreeeme.... Anyway, you play Extreme 500 by first having a kicker/thrower throw off the football into the crowd. Once someone catches it, they have to take it and run to a tree located behind where the kicker/thrower kicked/threw it from. Once they tagged the tree (without being tackled by the others in the group[i.e. Rugby players 'n such >.<]), they were awarded their points. Ok, so once I started to return the ball(I dont remember what it was worth), and made a long "C" shaped run to the left, trying to avoid some ppl, which I did.....But when I got closer, a friend of mine tackled me into ANOTHER tree......and left a 5" vertical scar on my back :D I kinda like it, though it bled like none other for a while :lol: J272
