  1. FYI, the Kazon guy from Star Trek hasn't taken a bath in his life, and his hair looks cleaner then the idiot's hair.
  2. Barihawk replied to rushrock's topic in Off-Topic
    1. Do you like South Park? 2. What are your favorite South Park episode(s)? 3. Do you think South Park's gone too far? (ex. Making fun of Steve Irwin.) 1. No. It's really crude, and has offended me on many occasions. Of course, I know that that's the point of the show. 2. The WoW one was ok, I watched it with some of my students. Until the diarrhea scene. That was just sick. 3. Every week.
  3. I'm not God, but Christian scripture seems to suggest all sins except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit are forgivable. I did a little research and it seems you are right. Interesting. I'd be interested to hear a Christians perspective on what they think about this unforgivable sin. So basically one sin and your out? No second chances? :ohnoes: It is the only true unforgivable Sin. Those don't make it to Heaven get to spend the span of time in the void, or Limbo, until Christ's Second Coming. Then, all humanity from Adam to Steve will be judged again. Judgement Day. All mankind will have the chance to stare God in the face and make the choice. Except.. Those who A: Took the mark of the beast during the Tribulation (aka alligned themselves with the AntiChrist who WILL be a human, not a beast. The Revelation of John is metaphorical prophecy). B: Those who forsook God in return for their life. If you don't believe in God, it's different. Those who don't know him can be forgiven. But for a Jew or Christian to deny God at the cost of death? I'll write more later if there are further questions.
  4. Religion breeding terrorists. :uhh: ... I didn't say that I would kill in the name of God. I blatantly explained my statement as meaning that if someone put a gun to my head, I would not deny God.
  5. What the heck does a youtube link have to do with that? I'm 21. Give me links to press conferences or official statements. Not some silly video.
  6. Regardless, their behavior in and out of court is not going to help them at all. Unless Cartoon Network or Turner comes out and takes responsibility.
  7. Just like being stupid is cool and having a waist of 5 inches is cool!! :XD: My sarcasm recorder picks up 100% sarcasm signals sir. Small waists are eww. Thick rumps are much better. Just ask Queen. *Wonders if anyone will get that reference*
  8. Suicide isn't really funny either. Death is nothing really to laugh at.
  9. Why is it so "cool" to inhale toxic fumes from a burning piece of paper? It's not good for you, develops a nasty habit, turns your lungs and teeth funky colors... There's almost nothing good about smoking.
  10. Ok, you have a suspected bomb threat. Why wouldn't you close off roads and cordon away the area? The police did nothing wrong. They did it by the book.
  11. For the love of God Barihawk, all they did was do what their bosses told them to do, which was put up frikking litebrights around the city. LITRBRITES. The overreaction of the Boston police is to blame, not some normal people doing their jobs, again, putting up litebrites. Overreaction heck! They KNEW those things looked dangerous. You had to open the bloody boxes to see the little alien guy giving you the finger! The Boston Police were DOING THEIR JOBS! Hundreds of people die every day from improvised bombs. Can you blame Boston for making a big deal out of this?
  12. It's a box with wires hanging out placed in crowded places. Could be a LiteBrite, could be a freaking Anthrax bomb. The motivation behind the device was to attract attention as if the box was a bomb. If they wanted to do normal advertising, they would have used bumper stickers on public works or graffiti tags or something. Regardless, they still have to pay the price.
  13. This is about as funny as calling someone from a hospital and telling them that their son or daughter is dead. It's sick. They should have known better. Yelling fire in a movie theater is illegal. Placing bomb-like advertising? That's worse. Those two idiots may have gotten out on bail, but they still have a trial to go to. And the courts are not going to be happy about their comments. Hope they enjoy footing the $750,000 bill.
  14. Tigra...wow. You don't understand religion at all. I would much rather die than deny God. You see, as a Christian I do not fear death. If you can laugh at people murdering others, you will not be laughing when you spend the last years of your life fleeing death like a wounded animal. And I still hold face that you are pervertedly sick if you laugh at murder. Such as if I knew you, I would get you psychiatric help.
  15. I can't really remember the last time I've ever called an Islamic person a terrorist. That's a really intolerant and racist thing for you to say. And I would die for Jesus. Of course, that means if someone put a gun to my head and asked me what I believed in, that's what I would say. And you are not funny. Laughing about suicide bombers is sick.
  16. Supporting Iran is one thing, the Ayatollah is another. He is singlehandedly the most dangerous man in the world. All he has to do is speak and millions of extremist Islamics will do whatever he asks. The gigantic US nuclear and chemical weapon arsenals (which are enough to destroy and infect the entire planet earth many hundreds of times over) and it's 500 billion dollar+ defense budget absolutely pale in comparisons of dangerousness to the rusty AK-47s and boxcutters of the muslim extremists. In all seriousness, I don't think Iran is a huge threat to the world. If it was, my spider sense would tingle. No tingle, no threat. Here's the thing. America is disarming. We don't want to use nukes or chemical weapons EVER. The extremists may have rusty AK's, but all it takes is a little support from he Ayatollah and now they have brand new AK-74's and even FN Galil's. They don't follow any code, they don't follow the rules of war. They will spread out and crush the Middle East. Israel has nukes and is far more likely to use them. Bam. World War 3 started in our nice Middle East. The only way for us to win is to sit it out and get Iran to be the aggressor. At least then we can get NATO if not some UN member nations to help out. Trust me. They may be "hicks" in your eyes, but men and women with the conviction that their God demands the killing of all infidels led by the most powerful man on Earth? That scares me. They are one of the most well equipped militaries on Earth. A side effect of being on of the richest nations. As Conservative as I am, I like to keep a period of 10-20 years after a war before I like to hear about the cool dogfights. Too surreal.

  18. You realize that they are saying that we will crack down on Iranian agents in Iraq. We aren't going to actually invade the country. That would be the most futile and destructive war waged in decades. If Iran wants war, we are going to let them start it. We can kill their troops in Iraq because those men are illegally in the country engaging in acts of war. They declare war on criminal grounds, then a coalition can join to fight them without any sort of controversy. It's Iran's war to begin.
  19. Alas Pault, he gave us free will and a lack of fate. Natural Selection still has a place.
  20. I love the mass generalizations of illogical inductive reasoning going on. "Religious types don't believe in dinosaurs" "Religious types do this, don't do that" blah blah blah. The blanket statements are insulting. We are all not a bunch of fools blinded by the Bible. We believe in science, we believe in creation at the same time.
  21. Locke, I may not always agree with what you say, but you are officially the most awesome and mature poster in the OT :P. Username and sig only add to the greatness.
  22. Give that man a cookie for bringing up Milankovitch =D> just studied the whole topic in Geography Advanced Level so will be back with a rant in the morning Until then on a side note - the electric car - NOT green - where do you think the electricity comes from? In the majority of cases its gas/coal or fossil fuel of some form. They can be rigged to run off of solar power. In addition, in hybrid vehicles the batteries are completely recharged by the heat from the brakes.
  23. When picking a car, go for smaller size and power. That way, your insurance bill wont be so bad. I had a choice between a crappy Saturn and a 68' Mustang for my first car. I got 5 years out of that Saturn before she died on me. I miss her. :(
  24. Tigra. His trips to Camp David or Crawford are hardly vacations. He still works when he is down there. It's just a less stressful environment to work in.
