In need of Community Help! The Quest for 61 crafting!
I would first like to mention that I have no power here at Tip.It. My little mask thingie gives me no rank, authority, or control over any of you. I am not a moderator. In fact, I have to stay in line and give up some of the posting rights that you guys enjoy. On top of that, I have shelled out over 2 million cash into my position in TET, and have given the TIF community tons of "Phr33 St00f." I am manipulating nobody. I am sure half the people here in this forum have never even heard of me before this. I am certainly sure that the random people I have been cutting diamonds for ingame do not know me. Skilling was never my thing. I do not have the patience or time as a full-time college student (among other duties) to go out and find 1500 seaweed and meticulously carry them back to the bank. That would take months. Nor do I have the ingame resources that many of you enjoy. I could easily buy tons of flax and craft it into bowstrings like someone else stated, but I do not have the money to spare for it. I do not see how asking to cut diamonds for people who do not have the crafting level to do it is wrong. As I see it, I am helping those people with something as well as letting out a few HYT's along the way! Please don't use that bull as justification of this idea :? . I remember several years ago, a player came along and did this same thing, except it was giving free supplies for cakes, which he cooked and gave to Tip.Iters. He managed to get 36 cooking levels, and produced over 15,000 cakes for the TIF community. Everybody loved it. I really do not see how this is any different, except for the fact that I only want to make 14,100 items less than he did.

In need of Community Help! The Quest for 61 crafting!
So I am obsessed with getting 61 crafting, but I am looking at a HUGE time period to get it in...with one loop hole... I can get the level by cutting 930 diamonds! :) I need help from the Tip.It Community though! I have neither 930 uncut diamonds nor really the use for them! But some of you do! If you have any number of uncut diamonds (preferably 10 or more...) then please Pm me ingame! I will speedily cut them and return them to you as soon as I can! I will stand there with you the whole time, and if I steal your diamonds, I would be losing the respect of Tip.It for a lousy amount of money! So if 100 people allowed me to cut 10 diamonds for them, I would have it. If 20 people allowed me to cut 50 diamonds for them, I would have it. 10 people with 100 diamonds...it's mine. 1 person with all 930...Hallelujiah... Note: If you are that one person with 1k uncut diamonds, I will give you 150k for your awesomeness! So please help me out! (And mods, please move this to Blogscape or some other visible forum if it is in the wrong place).

So My Views Aren't Right?
This would imply Adam was not intended to live forever. Insane, i am getting from that verse that his immortality ended when he ate from the tree. And Piano, before you insult me, please show me your college degrees in theology. Find better ways to demean people you disagree with.

So My Views Aren't Right?
Easy one. Man was originally created to live forever in Eden. When Adam dies, the Bible says he had lived almost 1000 years (forgot the number, like 965?) AFTER leaving the Garden. The price for Adam's sin was mortality.

So My Views Aren't Right?
Oh yes, and Adam lived then for what, 7 billion years? If we are to assume that no matter how the hebrew word "yom" for day is to be intepreted, there was some man who lived 930 years? Do you, as an educated person, actually believe it could be possible for a human being with nearly no technology, intelligence or advance to live up to billions of years because a hypothetical "God" granted him the ability to do so? I am rather well educated, thank you. I don't pay $14,000 a year for nothing. The reason they lived so long back then was because there were no diseases, they ate pure food, and did not have habits such as smoking or other ways we kill our bodies. If you just came out of Paradise, I am sure you would live to a ripe old age, too. Oh, and God is not hypothetical to me.

So My Views Aren't Right?
So you seriously believe, without any doubt what so ever, that the earth is only 6,000 years old despite there being physically proof that there are human races that are 20, 30 and even 40 thousand years old? The story of Genesis says that God created the Earth in 6 days. Who told the events of Genesis to it's author, Moses? God. And what, do tell, is a day to God? It's quite possible that God formed the Earth over millions of years, allowing dinosaurs to flourish and die in a great period of time. And what of this 6000 years? In the entire Bible, all units of measurement are shown in thier original Hebrew form. Note, the geneologies occur thousands of years before the Julian Calendar was invented. Who is to say that a year in the Bible is only 365 days? The confusion arises from the fact that the New Testament uses a more modern calendar than the old testament. A New Testament (or modern) year might equal 10 or more Old Testament years. The Bible already states that people lived to incredible ages.

So My Views Aren't Right?
The Bible? The Ten Commandments? I don't believe it's mentioned anywhere he gave us that choice. Infact it's mentioned that those who don't believe in him will go to hell. And therefore the Bible creates an arguement of not having free religion, or is frowning down upon it. Hey, sorry to all the religious guys here, but if (and that's a big if) there is a God, an all-loving, all-knowing, all-powerful God, he would surely give us a fair choice, fair free-will, to believe and/or worship whoever we want, with the natural mercy to forgive those who, completely understandably, choose not to worship a 'God' who gives us absolutely no proof of his existence to my knowledge. Who said God was all-loving? The Bible itself shows God to love his children, but he is still a wrathful and jealous deity. Look at Sodom and Gamorrah...or the flood...or the Golden Calf! He may love us, but it is after kicking our butts in the right direction. I'll work on finding a few resources for you. There is an old story about a Catholic Priest, a Baptist Preacher, and a Methodist Reverend who knew a Bhuddist priest. The Bhuddist priest was growing discontent with his faith as he watched the world unfurl around him. The three Christians saw this, and decided to "help" him along his spiritual path. The Priest approached his home, was invited in, and began to speak of the wonders of God, Christ, and the divinity of the Three-in-One. The Bhuddist was impressed, but he asked the Priest "This Christ must have been a wonderful person to have done all these things. But why did God sacrifice a son just to interfere in the lives of his mortal children?" The Priest had no answer, and the rest of the day's conversation was awkward. The Baptist came the next day, and began the usual "believe in God or go to Hell" sermon that Southern Baptists are known for. The Bhuddist was not interested in a sermon, and certainly not one that offended him so. He promptly asked the Baptist man to leave. Finally, the Methodist arrived. Surprisingly to the Bhuddist, the Reverend did not even talk about religion while the two played chess. Over the days, the Methodist came back and the two exchanged life stories, talked about family, and became great friends. The Bhuddist explained exactly to the Methodist what he felt was wrong. The Methodist helped the Bhuddist with his problems, and helped him see the world in a new light. They built homes for the needy together, worked to feed the hungry, and the Methodist man seemed to have a great knowledge of programs to reduce the world's suffering. The Bhuddist man was shocked, and asked "how can you be willing to take the time and effort to do all these things?" The Reverend answered frankly: "Because Christ sacrificed himself for me." Now, you can substitute any of the Denominations in that story for whoever you want, but they represent how Christianity is flowing today. If you truly want to arm yourself, use the Bible as a shield instead of a sword. Lead by example by providing a Christlike life (you may not live sin-free, but try to live like He did). I'll have a few more things for you eventually via PM. You are the second Christian in my story, man. People like you who give others a bad impression of us.

So My Views Aren't Right?
I will respect yours when you stop lying about mine. There are hundreds of thousands of documented evidence verifying events, locations, authors, and dates recorded in the Bible...even such outlandish events such as the destruction of Sodom and Gamorrah. I can reccomend a number of books to you giving hardline evidence. There is nothing to prove 100% the Bible is true, but there is much more evidence than just about any other scientific theory or religion. (when I say that, i am referring to both the Jewish and Christian faiths.)

So My Views Aren't Right?
What? He rested on the eighth? Are you sure? I always thought he rested on the seventh, Sunday, thus is why it is forbidden to do work on a Sunday... I could be wrong, i'm not catholic so I don't folow the bible much... Blast! You are correct, I got a little confused. Hah, that makes me look credible, doesn't it? :P
-
So My Views Aren't Right?
Pianofreak...GOD created the world in 7 days, and on the eighth he rested. My only problem is sometimes that Christians do not arm themselves enough spiritually. They are not prepared to walk the line. As the saying goes...they can talk the talk, but can they walk the walk? I really do not like the mass preaching hellfire and brimstone. I never seek out to "convert" people. If someone has already stepped down the path towards Christianity, I will be there to hold thier hand...not shove them down it. Personally, I think the number one turnoff from Christianity is that we are too pushy.

Questions about Legend/Regicide/Roving Elf
Legends is NOT easy. Any quest is easy if you use a guide. The challenge is in not using one. All of them will be difficult without guides. But hey, that is where the true fun lies.

Certaintly a new way of explaining how drops work
It's pretty funny. Even though Andrew gave us a run-down on how drops works. Search for the "Roulette Wheel" system. That will be a good explanation of drops.
