  1. Jak, their sense of timing was a no-brainer. Would a thief rather strike a home when the master is home, or out on vacation? With the PM out of the country, the military could effectively take control with the communication that comes from the chain of command broken.
  2. I personally am starting to think that the name of any religion should be censored on these forums, so people would not debate about them in a topic that has little relevance with it.
  3. The General lost the election a few months ago, so he resorts to this. Yay.
  4. Nope, even if that is a round earth, our current map covers only a 1/4th of it. We already know that both Port Tyras and Port Phantasmys are on coastlines in the western Hemisphere. There is at least a large continent to the East, according to Ak Haranu.
  5. Hush Arctic! Relient K = teh cool! And I love that song. It's like the theme song for this day.
  6. Oh, and on the note of the winter elemental disappearing. JaGex REALLY likes to taunt us in the Knowledge base, and post "leaks" every once in a while. They may happen, they may not. Regardless, they are fully intentional, almost like Easter Eggs.
  7. A round world?! Here there be Dragons! It now provides enough room for a HUGE area of the world to form.

The African ones would be a little more difficult, but I could probably piece it together from thier accents. Telling ethnicities is simple, it's mostly facial features. The way the eyes, nose, and eyebrows come together can tell you a lot about a person. I seriously doubt you can tell the difference between a group of Belgian men and French ones. Even I can't, and I am Belgian. Border is not an trait of ethnicity. Because of Celtic roots, sometimes I have trouble telling some Northwestern French girls from my beloved Irish ones. By your logic, American would be an ethnicity (personally, I don't think it will be one for at least 100 years).
  9. Do it, it works. The "aw hell" approach is the best way to get over nervousness. Michiel, that quote is from Back to the Future.
  10. According to Jagex, F2P is the full game and P2P is the expansion. Granted that the expansion is 10 times larger, but meh.
  11. I remember being present at the first DM featuring the granite maul. Paul was there, too. Also, I remember having a long conversation with Paul and Shiva back when Nardah came out. I remember when Santa's sold for 200k. I bought 16 of them and sold for 400k a few months later. Now I cry myself to sleep.
  12. I've rejected many girls, sadly. I feel so guilty about it, but I can't get past character flaws. I will often fall into a mutual attractiveness with a girl, until I find out that she is: -A smoker -Curses more than a sailor -Got treated for VD last week -Worships Trees (ugh, I dated that one for like 3 weeks) -Drinks heavily, and by that I mean she drinks to get drunk -From a religion my parents disallow me to date (Catholic, Mormon, Islamic, or Eastern religion. I can only date Protestants or Jews :() The last one really hurts me, as it seems all the good girls falling for me these days are Catholic or Bhuddist (a few Indian girls, who I would have dated in a heartbeat). Unfortunately, my own views feel that respect for parental wishes is paramount, and I can actually see where my parents come from on that. After all, what kind of relationship can be sustained if we go to different churches? Love can not be built on a cracked foundation. Of course, there was my dad's boss's grand-daughter. She is flipping hot, and writes me love letters across the state! Unfortunately, her family is more screwed up than anything on TV and my dad just said "She's not worth it." I agree, unfortunately.
  13. Even thought the bank is much closer at the guild, I love fishing there. Why? NO IDIOTS! PEACE AND QUIET! GOOD COMPANY! O:)
  14. How does adding energy cool your soda down? Shhh. I suck.... Nah, you could have just meant you like it so cold that it dehydrates and becomes space soda or something :P
  15. What's sad is that people use Global Warming to get recognition. The world is eternally in a cycle of heating and cooling, we happen to be in the warming phase. 91% of all "greenhouse gasses" would still be produced if humans did not exist. These are produced by wild animals and the world itelf, including world's largest pollution vent: volcanoes. 7% of the remainder is due to human agriculture over the past thousands of years. Mostly from wheatfields, cornfields, and other farming areas. less than 2% is made by human pollution by exhaust or industrial venting. It's inevitable, and is only a part of the nature of the world. We survived the last time, I am sure we can survive this time around.
  16. Music, followed by books. Other than that, I could live without.
  17. Do you usually experience lag on the homeworld? If so, stick to a different server (preferably the "best server" that Jagex offers you at the World Screen) when you are doing intensive things like that.
  18. I like chilled at about 40*F, no ice.
  19. Subtle compared to most american stuff, perhaps, but certainly not things over here. The old 80's British comedy that that they show on PBS is pretty amusing. For a number of years, I was glued to Faulty Towers and Alo Alo.
  20. I love the American version because I know someone who literally looks and acts like Dwight Schrute. And his girlfriend could resemble Angela (while not as pretty :(). It's subtle humour, as opposed to other crap on TV where it just get's blown into your face.
  21. I used to watch it before it became a trash dumpster. When it first came out, it featured good anime that wasn't really there before (pretty much a souped up version of Toonami, which rocked back in the day). I flipped by last night and felt that I had grown dumber.
  22. How exactly do you know this for certain? Shiva and I randomly found Paul during the Nardah update and he told us about his team. I found the Darkness of Hallowvale time from a thread in the official forums.

That had me a little confused... Does the nunchuk attachment have a sensor of its own as the guys movements would suggest? It does, but not nearly as sophisticated as the "Remote" part of the controller. The Nunchuck's motion sensing is equivalent to what will be the PS3 controller.
  24. When I used to play on world 46, I would always run into a family playing together on Sunday afternoons. I talked to the mother one day and learned that thier oldest son was studying in Europe, and that was the only way they could spend time with one another. They are what I consider to be the greatest players in Runescape, playing for all the right reasons.

Unless you're talking about caucasian americans..No you can't because there are black americans, native americans, hispanic americans, asian americans, and white americans, etc, etc,etc... They're all just as american as the other.Except native americans being the only *real* americans. -.- It would be very difficult to tell Australians apart anyways, considering that the whites there are mixes of Irish and English. However, telling an Aborigine apart from other black ethnicities is fairly easy by facial features, etc.
