Star Trek: Legacy (Best Preview at E3)
Check out the forums at the website, they have much more information. The site is intentionally outdated, and those screens are from E3. They are releasing renders and such, but other than that they want to blow us away at release. A lot of info can be found in the forums. Oh, and for the record: I love the original 3 Star Wars movies. I hate the newest 3 (because they are fanservice). I grew up with Trek though and loved it because it portrays a possible future for us. I can relate much more with humans from Earth rather than Correllians and such.

It's not an interview. It's a letter to his friends and family, who then forwarded it. It is used with his permission.

A Soldiers View of Iraq
Completely non-partisan, amusing, and an extremely good read into the life of a US soldier. Best thing I have ever read, and it's not even propaganda! Article is part of the New York Times:

Why do scientists believe the Big Bang created the world?
You're wrong. The Old Testement constantly refers to the coming Messiah. Read the book of Isaiah (I can't spell...) and you'll know what I'm talking about. It is the exact same God because the Jews were (still are if they're still Jews) waiting for the Messiah to come. Jesus didn't replace God. Quit talking about Christianity - you obviously don't know much about it. I never said he replaced God. I said that Chrsitians worship Jesus as a God. If you deny that, then apparently you don't know much about Christianity. :-s We actually worship him as part of God. Christ was God in human form, the Son of God. He is not a separate deity. He is just a part of God, like the Spirit, that makes up the Trinity. That is why one of our names for God is the Three-In-One.

One thing: "Head on, apply directly to the forehead!" "Head on, apply directly to the forehead!" "Head on, apply directly to the forehead!" "Head on, apply directly to the forehead!" "Head on, apply directly to the forehead!"

Coming from the other side of your view, I can say the same thing. I had a lengthy reply to another insult against my faith, but I don't feel like replying because of all the closed-mindedness here. I think it's funny that the same people who claim Christians do nothing but bash other religions are the ones in this thread who are doing nothing but bashing the Jewish and Christian faiths. Before I leave this thread: Props to Apinagez, Merciful and Nadril for keeping it civil and sticking to thier ideas honestly instead of resorting to petty insults. GhostRanger is a few rungs down the ladder from them. The rest of you honestly need to open up a bit and realize that other people have opinions that conflict with your own. Instead of attacking them personally, you might just ask questions. And yes, every topic in this forum that deals with science or God turns into an all-out war.

Oh, Apinagez, I meant to say "Lao Zhe" in my last post. In case you wanted to google it or something. Chinese spelling destroys me.

Why do scientists believe the Big Bang created the world?
Just wondering: what other ancient text do you know? Mostly epics, musics of Greek and Roman historians (which are highly biased, which blemishes thier accuracy), and other historical texts like the Lao Tze. I am not going to put a list of like 5000 ancient texts. And when I say accurate, I am talking about events in the Bible, not miracles or "religious aspects." I am talking about wars, geneaologies of kings, borders, etc.

God help us. I meant, that even though mortals wrote those books, and there knowledge of science was low. Thats why its not in there. God talked to his people, surely he would've told them. Which is why I don't like religion. Its lacking in soooo many places. I support the Big Bang Theory, it seems as if you guys have got it backwards. Lacking? The Bible is considered by almost any scholar to be the most accurate ancient text in the world. Almost every event in it has real-life evidence to back it up, and the holes left have been confirmed by third-party ancient sources (like the Dead Sea Scrolls). He has a right to discuss, not flat out insult our faith. He basically said "Ur stewpit, lolz".

What is more important to you safety or freedom?
If you have complete freedom, you have anarchy. If you have complete safety, you have fascism.

OMG Che Guevera's not dead! He's just reincarnated in the form of Barihawk! What are you talking about? I just said things that were in the Declaration of Independance.

I want a fair tradeoff. As long as my inalienable human rights are met (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness), I am fine with government intrusion for mine and other's safety. If it violates any of those, then it's time for revolution. The government has not done any of those since the Civil War, so I am fine at the moment. (The Patriot Act only affects people who make calls to known terrorists, so I have nothing to worry about it. I am pretty sure nobody in my family, friends, or faculty is a terrorist.)

Could you take anothre person's life?
Right now, no. I don't even kill animals (except insects...pesky things). But if I was a grunt in the jungle and was under fire, I would at least pull the trigger.

'Number' of People Killed in Pennsylvania School Shooting
I think there shouldn't even be a 3rd Amendment. I can understand why they made it in the 1700s, people had to hunt. But we live in modern socity, people dont hunt for food anymore! (At least 99% of the population) FFS, it's the Second Amendment. That's the worst mistake you can make in an argument. I own a firearm. I don't hunt, and it's not for protection. I use it for fun, and shooting clays is much more fun than videogames.

The one in Colorado was not a mimic of Colombine, it was an older man who was interested in a sexual crime.

President Bush Fired Colin Powell
BYAAWWW Hahah.... I wonder who will be put in now. What the heck was that about?
-
President Bush Fired Colin Powell
Why not, Ronald Reagan was an actor! And I am Christian and still would vote for a Jewish man, as long as I agreed with his opinions more than the other guy. And sorry that 62% of the nation calls themselves Christian. Less than 30% of those are actually practicing the faith.

Not your average favourite cartoon topic!
Any animated TV show on Comedy Central should be banned...they are all pointless and crude. For all time: -Batman: The Animated Series -Animaniacs -Freakazoid -The Real Ghostbusters -Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles And last but not least, the essence of awesome: -Star Trek: The Animated Series

President Bush Fired Colin Powell
It's sad that the democrats don't have a single viable candidate right now. I don't see what's wrong with McCain though. He's so right, he's left. He's a great guy, but I don't personally agree with his politics, while I do with Colin Powell's.

President Bush Fired Colin Powell
I prefer not to have McCain in office, but I would so vote for Colin Powell.

New halo games
The original Halo was a great game, but the sequals were awkward. I mean, WHY IS SERGEANT JOHNSTON STILL ALIVE!!! You quite obviously see him die in the first game. Anyways, Half Life makes a good series because the story has not ended yet. Technically, it doesnt have sequals, but more of extensions.
