  1. Just so I can say "owned" to you: I'm level 99 prayer and still bury bones often. If you want to play this game, I can just say, "Ha, my total is higher than yours since I saved more time by not burying!" Plus, mathematically speaking, it is more efficient to just make money and buy your bones. Your total level is higher than mine because I don't bother to play RuneScape anymore as I have too much to do right now. I haven't played hardcore since... 6 months or more? Let's enter a real competition and see how well you do. I started this account on December 5, 2005, and quit for 6 months except for holiday events. I've not even played 3 years on this account, and let's bump that down to not even 2 years because of massive inactive time just mentioned. How long have you had YOUR account? I presume longer than 23 months. I also assume you don't waste massive amount of time researching the game like I do - for example, my Ultimate Monster Examine guide. Let's see you do that. Also, let's see you learn widely varied aspects of computer science for the past 5-6 years while at the same time being very high level on an online game. And I'm good at it too. In my opinion, I've managed my time far more efficiently over the years than you have, and obviously you're ahead of me in the race if I'm not actually in it.

  3. Gadwin's written in C++ I believe, so it's inherently less stable. :) Screen Snapper is written in C# and it's small enough to be quite stable. Improvements can always be made, of course. --- Also, to the person who said he could make a better icon, I'd love to see it (preferably made in Adobe Illustrator rather than Photoshop?, or a free equivalent such as Inkscape). My graphics skills are not that great. :P
  4. It puts watermarks on your screenshots, doesn't it? And my program is not specific to RuneScape (it just comes with a RuneScape AutoCrop file by default), SwiftKit is.
  5. In response to an earlier question, yes, my program will take screenshots of RSHD.
  6. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?p ... stiary.htm Under "Sections of the Bestiary", "Hits" is described as: The part in bold should be removed as this has been proven incorrect long ago and is already quite evident in the Slayer Planner, largely thanks to me. Please remove this archaic bit from the description. :) Alternatively you could just add that it's also the Slayer experience sometimes... but I think the best thing to do would be remove it altogether, or, as I did on my website, actually add a field for Slayer XP into the Bestiary and use PHP to have the Slayer Planner dynamically reference it, to decrease the chance of mis-synchronized values. This would also automate the process of adding monsters to the Slayer Planner as it could simply select whatever monsters in the Bestiary had a Slayer XP of more than zero by itself.
  7. Forgive me, but I didn't understand your post at all... Paint is far from an advanced program. --- I also have good news. I've downloaded Gadwin and found it to be a very non-comprehensive program that I could easily incorporate the features of into my program. I've also downloaded a couple other programs including TechSmith's Jing, which will be particularly interesting to... study, more so than the others. I may also add video-recording capabilities to Screen Snapper, or develop a separate program. We'll see. Also added a screenshot of my program to the first post as suggested.
  8. Arrgh... I meant to type "manually", not "automaticallly"! :wall: Already got that: to minimize the program to the system tray, just double click the tray icon (the red circle). As for your second suggestion, what do you mean? It already has a coordinate finder, click the magnifying glass icon in the toolbar and you'll be able to select a window which will drop its coordinates into the text boxes on the toolbar. --- Again, if you guys find any bugs please do let me know! Your suggestions are also appreciated, I'll look into implementing those along with features found in other similar programs.
  9. Actually I've found that the options on that program are far less accessible. It seems feature limited, too, and I intend to add tons of features to mine that far exceed the capabilities of Gadwin. Plus, that doesn't have AutoCrop which is useful for RuneScape. I'll check. Most likely because it uses global key hooking to detect when you press shortcut keys. A lot of keyloggers use the same technology which is probably why it was flagged. Don't worry, it's safe.
  10. Have you ever wanted an easier way to take RuneScape screenshots? Isn't it annoying to have to crop them manually? Perhaps you should try: Screen Snapper! It is a program I have written to easily take screenshots and automatically crop them. Screen Snapper's intuitive AutoCrop feature allows you to input a few values which tell the program to automatically crop images before they are saved. I use the program a lot, myself, to help in the making of my Ultimate Monster Examine Guide which you can find in my signature. And yes, I took this screenshot with the program itself. :) You can download the program from this link here: http://www.runeuniverse.us/downloads/ScreenSnapperInstaller.msi Please let me know about any bugs you find or any improvements you think can be made! ~Jard Y Dooku PS - The program is not obfuscated so if you'd like an Administrator to verify that my program is not dangerous, or if you'd like to do it yourself, it can be easily decompiled with a tool such as Red Gate's .NET Reflector. PPS - This post is a rough draft, I'll update it with more info later. And currently there is no help menu on the program so if you're unsure about how to use a feature just post here. I may post the source later, too.
  11. I've been at this since the spell was released on Tuesday, May 15th, 2007, and my guide was posted 10 days later, on Friday, May 25th, 2007.
  12. 1.) The music is supposed to stay. How dare you suggest they remove it! :0 Note to those who may misinterpret: the previous sentence is meant to be jokingly condemning, not rude.
  13. Thursday, November 13, 2008 Added Ungadulu (level-169) I originally had "Level 169 Ungadulu (Possessed version) reverts to lvl 70 too quickly if you're an observing player." in my notes. It turns out that it does that no matter who you are. I was about to grab 200 monster examines and try to click very fast until I eventually got it (which is almost humanly impossible), but I accidentally found that if you try to attack the level 70 Ungadulu from the SOUTH-WEST CORNER of the octagon BEFORE you get the holy water to douse the flames (I haven't checked if this still works after that), Ungadulu will switch to his level 169 form and toss you backwards - and he'll stay there for around 30 seconds, giving you plenty of time to cast monster examine, get his examine text, and a nice photo before he reverts to his level 70 form. Excellent!
  14. In my opinion, RFD's weren't that great. Don't get your hopes up...
  15. Tuesday, November 11, 2008 Added Clay familiar (class 1) (level-25) Added Clay familiar (class 2) (level-37) Added Clay familiar (class 3) (level-58) Added Clay familiar (class 4) (level-93) Added Clay familiar (class 5) (level-139)
  16. I want to know why you asked that? Feel free to PM me the answer. ;-) Over-suspicion. If you're really just super busy... then, fine I guess.
  17. So you think I stole it from somewhere else, don't you?
  18. 50 and 100 were Legends and Recipe for Disaster. 25 was Tribal Totem. And instead of asking, just look here: http://www.runeuniverse.us/quest.ws?sort=date_asc
  19. You guys ever going to add this? It's been around 3 months... Is the reason you're not adding it because you find it hard to believe I'm the one who actually got it? [hide=If so...]I'm the only player in RuneScape who would do something like this, and look at my signature. I had to write you an essay for that thing before you'd believe it was actually mine. I'm an amazing person (conceited, aren't I?) and I do amazing things. And don't take my hostility too seriously. I'm just impatient, though 3 months kind of does warrant a response to this topic, even if it is volunteer work.[/hide] [hide=If not...]Then what's taking so long? =/[/hide]
  20. MEP2 was #89, so you're right, it wasn't significant number, even though it was a very significant quest - Jagex actually asked Tip.It to withhold quest guides for a few days! I hope they do that again. I'd like to see people getting annoyed when they see people walking around with the ownage rewards because there's no guides. Tip.It rarely has the first guide. I remember using some other site for an MEP2 guide. Also, quest #75 was The Feud, which wasn't significant, and #125 was Dream Mentor which was fairly significant but probably more-so to me than anyone else *points to signature*.

  22. Chronologically, this month's Grandmaster quest will be #147. (This is assuming the Learning the Ropes doesn't count as a quest, and QuestHelp doesn't count it so neither am I) One thing, though: it seems suspicious that they previously doubted it would be ready for 2008, and here it is, ready for November, not even pushed to December. Unless they were just being cautious so as not to disappoint? Well if you want to get technical, 147 + tutorial is 148, Halloween quest is 149, so, this could very well be the 150th quest. It's 145 without the counting all that, not 147. I already counted all the quests, so without the tutorial quest, the Grandmaster one is 147. With it, it's 148. There's no way it adds up.
  23. Jard Y Dooku - Has cast Monster Examine on all but 13 of every monster it can be cast on, in the whole game
  24. Are you serious?
  25. 150

All this talk about the special November Grandmaster quest... when did they EVER say it was the 150th? As far as I can see, they didn't.
