  1. As a collector of Action figures, sports cards and autographs, to me I see a collectible everywhere. However There is a fun paradox, In sports cards their has been for 10 years or more hits in packs called "press plates, masterpieces and 1 of 1s" meaning 1 card exists like it - period. It's a rare hit and generally they cost a lot of money - but they can be bought. However many our bought by collectors and never see resale - making it impossible for collectors to collect "1 of every card" a player has. while this practice was hated years ago - it is now accepted by the community as a way for the collectors to make themselves more distinguished from other collections. Back in 1996/1997 Pinnacle kept extras of these "1 of 1s" for damaged replacements - sometimes 2 or 3 - sometimes 5 or 10. But needless to say, the value plummeted when they went of business and they sold off everything. What was a desirable item, became something that went bidless on ebay - no one really wanted it, the demand was gone and it was tainted. Many collectors were sick - one paid $500 for a guy 2 weeks before pinnacles close and then 3 hit ebay the week after. he won all 3 for $30. In many ways this would happen with the rares and holiday items, true why some people may really want one, most people when they got it, wouldn't ever really use it and in the case of ears and scythes, it means more to the original crowd than the new. Now I am all for rs2 items being re-released as to me, it's a different game than classic and I don't see it being as big of a deal than taking away the two items that prove you played classic, and were in effect, a founding member of the game. Now personally, A book is worth alot more if it's signed. I proudly have autographs of a few of my favorite authors and would not trade them for the world. The ears fall on the same concept. If jagex was willing to compensate classic players with a special item - Ie a black party hat and a set of purple rune armor, I would gladly let those two items become re-attainable. It's not like i've used my scythe in the past two years. Now on a sidenote, I have two additional comments. In my C# Class where we have been integrating applications into web pages - my instructor commented to me (this guy does have a doctorate) that I need to retool my If statements. Also as a night shift manager for a support call center, I suppose I am tainted with the idea of rewarding my loyal customers and giving them breaks and help where I wouldn't to a new customer. People who have played this game for over half of a decade, deserve some breaks too. Ah, C#. What is your level of competency? Do you know other languages and what experience do you have in computer science? To keep this on topic I'll just say that you and I, as RSC players, deserve nothing extra.
  2. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/retool Not in computer science. You'll never hear the term "retool" used. "retool their scripting language" was the original statement http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/piperma ... 00236.html -"I don't think this would so much be a rebuilding of links as a simple retooling -- adding hooks into existing code. " http://blog.reindel.com/2008/12/14/the- ... uld-learn/ -"You do not need to retool all of your JavaScript, but you should think twice about how you will structure your Web applications on future projects." While I'll agree that "retool" is likely without a formal specialized definition in relation to computer science, I fail to see why it cannot be used in context to speak of reorganization. 1) I was merely pointing out that the word existed. 2) Never said it had to be a formal term. Fine, you win. But "retool" still sounds silly. :) I collect costume room items in RuneScape... but most of those items can be earned by anyone who wishes. And all the items in my toy box, I wish everyone else could get as well. I don't think it's fair that they can't get the items but can get the music and emotes. It's a half-assed job on Jagex's part, in my opinion. Either do holiday events correctly, or never do them again (I'd prefer the latter because quite frankly they're nonsense and just create something for us to argue about).

  4. They'd better not lower the rewards because it's about time high levels like me get something for our thousands of hours of hard work. 1 million magic XP daily for free at level 90+ to finish off those last few levels. Now that's a GOOD mini-game.
  5. In regards to your last paragraph, I'm sorry but you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about, at all. RuneScript is most certainly NOT based on JavaScript, and JavaScript does not have a maximum number of 2.1b. The number you're thinking of is 2,147,483,647 ((2^32 / 2) - 1) anyways, which is the maximum value for a signed 32-bit integer in most programming and scripting languages. However there is a magical invention called 64-bit integers, which have an exponentially larger value range. And "retool" is not even a word that exists. Secondly, RuneScape itself is not written in RuneScript. RuneScript is a supplement to RuneScape so that Jagex can add new quests and such without modifying the game itself. Also, it would most likely take a few minutes to change all the instances of "int" to "long". Put it this way: it's a minor task. As for your last sentence, that's a horrible alternate solution. If they implemented an item where the ratio was 1 of that item to 1 gp, as you're suggesting, that would be quite useless. why not a ratio of 1 to 1 million instead? Please think before you type. I'm offended by all these "facts" you assume to be true when you have no knowledge of computer science or software engineering. It's seriously not hard to obtain both. Quite simply, that is the most inane logic I have ever heard, lets just give everyone 99 all skills, because with the right place, right time you can get an unfair advantage on other players. Using that logic, everyone's xp should be doubled each time a "Do X" is released because in the future gains will not be on the same ground. My ear's do nothing but remind me of boing boing hill, They mean nothing to you and give me no advantage over you. Live with it. You must not of pked. RS2 pking has always been and will always be trash compared to RSC pking. Want a deathmatch? Lets make it oldschool. F2P PVP worlds. - You can pick your place to die if you like. I will wear my ears over a helm. You make the hat's sound like a good used to benefit yourself, I view them as a collectable, and would I rather have a walter payton rookie over a matt forte's best rookie, yes, I already have a payton, but the proven value is their. Would I rather have a Darth Vader action figure from 77 or 2001? clearly 77. Give everyone 99 all's so they can enjoy those skill cape emotes too. It is. You are arguing with someone who wears it with pride and considers it an exclusive club. let's remove item lending, drop party castle, and every item that no one picks up too. His comparison to communism to me is on topic and valid. Long hail the motherland asgarnia! Lastly - can someone tell me what nochalo is? It's annoying. Nachalo and konets are Russian for "start" and "finish", respectively. Most people don't read long posts thoroughly so I placed those in there to help assure people read everything. I still notice most people didn't include the second word in their posts... >.< In any event, it's irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Whether they change the limit, or add some sort of extra medium (i.e. paper money that carries values of 5K-1000K, etc), matters not to this discussion. Since you don't quite understand the motivation of many players' desire to keep Scythes/Bunny Ears out of the hands of new registrants, let me paint you a picture. Imagine that your favorite author is giving out autographed copies of his latest novel, for a few hours on one specific day, and they would never be made available to the public again. You happen to be in the bookstore at the time, so you patiently line up and get a copy. A few years later, a friend notices the autographed book, and wants a copy. You tell him, of course, that they're not made available to the public. Literally the next day, the same author goes to the same bookstore and gives out even MORE copies of the autographed book, when he assured his fans that these would be the ONLY copies autographed. Not only do you feel betrayed, if you were to sell this book, its value would have decayed exponentially. RSC players were around to get these items, RSC players deserve them. I can't say that I care about any of the other events or emotes, but I will be damned if someone that has never dealt with RSC gets to wield a Scythe. Call it elitist, call it whatever you like - they didn't wait in line* for the exclusive item. *: Used as a metaphor; no one actually "waited in line" for any of these. I don't like pen marks on my books. Secondly, a bit of ink smeared on my book doesn't make the story any more interesting, or the information any more educational. It just makes my book have a smear of ink on it... which I would return to the bookstore for a copy without ink smeared on it.
  6. With all due respect, I don't care how long you've played. Are you higher level than me? If so, kudos to you. If not... you have a bit more work to do. ;) People really need to see that the length of time they've played really does mean little to nothing. Your actual achievements are what mean something. If I joined in 2008 and I am level 138, and I meet a level 50 who joined in 2001... why should I think highly of him in any way? I've gotten 135 levels in a year, but he's gotten 50 in 8 years. Not very good. Speaking as someone who is higher level than you and older. RSC is a different game from RS2. whether you like it or not, the stats carried over, but it's a different animal but simply, I played classic, sounds like you didn't. RS2 has built in macros, RSC did not. I like to distinguish that fact. Money can't buy everything and every item should not be attainable to all so easily. Give away the rubber chicken and yo-yo. to rs2 players, they deserve it, but the ears, scythe and tradeable rares - Lets preserve them they way they were. Have to say, I agree with Das here. I've been around since Jan 2002, and was a big time Classic player all the way to the end of it when RS2 was released. Those who didn't actually play it won't ever truly understand where we're coming from, but old Classic players like to distinguish themselves from everyone else. Bunny ears and scythes are especially fun for us to have, because in some small way it's our way of keeping the old memories of Classic alive. And yes, it is fun to have something not everyone can have. Those old untradable items are some of my most cherished RS items, and seeing everyone get them would honestly disgust me. We were lucky enough to be around back then to get 'em, simple as that. I do see the merit of your argument Jard, but I disagree. Actually, I did play RSC. And... *drumroll*... quite frankly I think it's horrible compared to RS2. The one thing that most of you seem to ignore is that you did absolutely no work to obtain scythe and bunny ears. You were in the right place in the right time, that is all. Compare this to a bad thing: a person walks down the street, and is killed by a falling anvil. This doesn't mean he did anything to deserve it, he was not a bad person at all. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. A lot of people like old things because they're old; I like new things because they're new (and usually better and of higher quality). Would you rather drive an obsolete vehicle which is less sturdy, and lacks air conditioning, heat, comfort, safety, etc., than a brand new Toyota that has all of those things? Sure, some of you will say yes... but I'll take the shiny new Toyota rather than the dusty old Ford. PS - 47 total levels isn't too much of a difference, and I am higher in combat so I'd say we're about equal. With all due respect, I don't care how long you've played. Are you higher level than me? If so, kudos to you. If not... you have a bit more work to do. ;) Am I reading the "Everybody higher than me has no life and everybody lower than me is a noob" attitude? No one forces you to think highly of them. And I thought the game was "for fun". What does achievements have to do with anything? I'm not trying to portray that attitude at all, I'm just making a point that his character (possibly) having existed before mine means nothing, what we have each achieved on our accounts, as far as levels, quests, unlocking content, etc. goes is what really matters. The game itself agrees with me. It lets RandomHighLevel wear a mining skill cape because he has 99 mining, and worked for it, but it doesn't give one to a 9-year-old (account-wise) player with horrible stats just because they started earlier. Because all players should have the same opportunity to enjoy the same content. A player who joins tomorrow shouldn't lack the opportunity to enjoy the Santa suit we got last Christmas, just because he found out about RuneScape yesterday and not three months ago or earlier. Truth be told, I don't. I know absolutely nothing of Jagex's inner workings, but I do know that there are limitations to how much a stack can hold based on the way that they store their data in whatever DB they use. It's the same situation with the XP cap being 200M, or the maximum level boost that one can have being 255 (WGS). It has NEVER been my goal to own a rare. My goals have changed over time, but the general pattern is the improvement of my character to unlock new things (i.e. getting 92 Smithing, 84 Craft, 86 Construction, 90 Mining, etc). There's probably a very small niche market for those that want to strive to earn rares, but the fact of the matter is, I could have a 200M hat on my head, or I could have 99 Smithing with an awesome cape. The hat looks good with the rest of my Dragon armor, but 99 Smithing allows me to actually make Rune. Tough choice. -.- I do agree that all non-RSC players should never be entitled to Bunny Ears or the Scythe, but to differentiate RSC players from others, there's a suggestion on the RSoF RSC boards in the works about some sort of cape or other decorum, which, I've been told, has been forwarded to the Development Team. Trust me, it'd be quite easy for them to raise the caps. The type of a column can be easily altered with a simple SQL command. WHY are you so guys adamant about your bunny ears and scythe? It seems like a very elitist attitude. There's absolutely nothing being taken away from you by letting new players get them. In fact, it almost seems like jealously that you think you should get something for being an older player and no one else should. If you read all the way to this point of the post underline every alternate character of your reply in red and blue. Then turn the letters upside down, jumble them up and roll them around. That would take too long, but be assured I actually read it. And seeing that most people did not end their post with the Russian word for "finish", THEY didn't actually read mine. Did you know that even Jagex hates rares/discontinued items? And your examples about Jad were compeltely off. I'm saying that everyone should earn the things on their account BY hard work and dedication, NOT by getting them off the ground for free, for NO work, and being able to get millions of coins for them. You don't deserve your bunny ears and scythe or party hat (if you didn't buy it), because you didn't work for them. So they should either be made available to EVERYONE for no work, or taken away from everyone. We're paying customers, not dogs... "Jard", please. And communism is good but let's stay on topic. I don't want this to turn into a political discussion. "Comparing race and amount of time spent playing runescape is a pretty dumb analogy too. One you can change, the other you can't." Correct. Race can be changed using plastic surgery, but the time you started RuneScape can't be changed. Time travel is quite likely not physically possible. Otherwise I'd have gone back in time and told Andrew Gower never to put party hats and other rares into the game.

  8. How do you know Jagex uses Oracle? I use MySQL and I know for certain it supports 64-bit integers, and I think even 128. I haven't really looked into database comparisons, but I doubt Oracle lacks the capability to store 64-bit integers if that is in fact what Jagex uses. Also, I doubt very many people care if you're "old school" or not. In my opinion at least, that's way overrated. Anyways, see you guys in 12 hours (yes I sleep a lot). :) Thanks for all the great discussion so far, it's very interesting reading what everyone has to say.
  9. The drug companies profit insanely, but most medications are helpful. Although many are overprescribed, they still help people a lot. i don't completely agree with taking medication over things that are minor, and I personally would never want to take medication unless it would help me if i were sick, because other types of medication change who you are. You are just being narrow minded from the point of view that's been pushed on you. But anyways, you're steering this thread off-topic. So quit being a noob. A woman went to the hospital complaining of a stomachache. The hospital gave her a drug (honestly - eat right and you won't get a stomachache in the first place) and her arms and legs turned black. Then they cut them off. So now this woman has no arms and legs. If she'd stayed home and suffered through the stomachache, or combined her foods correctly, she'd be fine. The scariest thing is, she was THANKFUL that they "saved her life". I'd be suing them, and then killing myself. But you're right, we're getting off topic.

Do not have sex unless you plan on reproducing to continue the existence of the species. If you really want to have sex, masturbate instead. i don't think condomarmor is painful... just less pleasurable than no arming. are anti-birth potions really toxic? :( I'll pretend there's seriousness and say condoms aren't painful and birth control isn't toxic. I forget most of you are American. If you are not circumcised, having dry rubber rubbing against your glans won't feel very nice. Also, birth control pills cause chemicals to enter the body, that should not be there. They are basically a drug, and along with all drugs, are bad for and do not belong in the human body. Of course 99% of people on the planet will disagree, but the medical system has brainwashed everyone into thinking that drugs and chemicals and medicines are good for you. I don't want to discuss it further. However if you are interested in learning of the medical system's evils, I suggest you look into Herbert M. Shelton. Also, I'm not trolling, I'm telling the truth. Oh yes, why believe 99% of the population when we could believe you? Seriously, what was I thinking... See what I mean? The power of profit is more powerful than you think.

  13. No. That's not helping to remedy the problem because it would introduce another item that cannot be earned solely through hard work and dedication. I mentioned earlier that all the high scores need is an extra field, "Member since:". Hmm As much of a good idea that is, Year capes wouldn't cause problems (That is, to the economy) And still, Year Capes would only be to show what year you joined; in game. No emote, just a cape with a number. I'm sticking to my guns and saying Year Capes would be cool; we can agree to disagree on that, ya? Don't be rude. Anyone who has a different opinion than you needn't be "stabbed in the face with a spoon", they should be told that you disagree with them in a polite manner. That is how debates work. Also, I have never had a party hat, and never will because I don't like them. And scythes are not very useful weapons, I prefer my AGS because it is more powerful. If I were able to obtain all rare items for free, they would go into my bank or my costume boxes and likely not be taken out for over 10 months at a time. Wow bbalking, I must say it sounds like your so against this idea for the sole reason that you own a phat (your sig). Jard called it? Your rudeness is not welcome in these forums or the Tip.it site for that matter. Hmm. I suppose Year Capes wouldn't be bad, as long as everyone can get them, and it's only one item which dynamically changes itself to show the year in which the player wearing it, joined. Wouldn't it be kind of hard to read, though?
  14. Tip.It: 1195 as of this post RSOF: 219
  15. people use 26k instead of 25k because they are paranoid that somehow 997 gp will make its way out of their inventory... he's talking about the PvP trick where you get a friend to die to you. Your friend must have 25003 gp (because 3 geepee get protected). 25004 if your friend uses protect item. the rewards can be cheap stuff like rune weapons, or semivalue things like glory amulets, higher value items like amulets of fury or berserker rings, high value things like PvP weapons/armour and extremely high value items like a dragon full helmet or dragonfire shield. your friend must have 25003 (or 25004) gp to trigger the drop table otherwise you will get very low priced items. You need 75003 (or 75004) gp to be able to get the DFH/DFS drop (from what i've heard). Ohh... I see. I knew about that trick but never heard the term. Thanks for explaining. ;)
  16. Ok I keep hearing about "26k"... what exactly is 26k?
  17. Don't be rude. Anyone who has a different opinion than you needn't be "stabbed in the face with a spoon", they should be told that you disagree with them in a polite manner. 18. Why did we get over it? Its either because there was a reason to remove it (Rwt) and people understood that, or because there were alternatives (current and future). And who is "we" anyway? I have still seen "bring Wildy back threads" I still like the old wild because of the lack of revs. I never went into the old wild but twice and the new wild thrice. I am not "over it", the people begging for the old wildy are not "over it", and the people who quit because of the lack of wild are not "over it." Ok, I phrased that poorly. What I mean by "we got over it" is that hundreds of thousands of people still play RuneScape, and the game is continuing on very, very well. And the implementation of my ideas wouldn't stop it. What would the "greater good" be in deleting rares anyway? Giving all players equal opportunity and eliminating rares' effect on the economy. You work for Jagex? :o Otherwise, who are you to be telling me what the original idea was? For all we know, Jagex wanted to have 1337ly priced items. You know what I think, I think that the tradable rares were for whoever played then or wanted to give their buddies one, and the price is a side effect. I don't need to work for them to know that's what they intended. It's even on the Tip.It website rares page... go look. Thus it was also the players greed that the price of a whip is abused and rose to a ridiculous price before falling. No my friend, it is the law of supply and demand. There is a limited supply of party hats, we want party hats, there is a high price of them. More people join the game, the demand increases the price of party hats rise. People with Party hats leave the game or rares or consumed, the supply goes down, the price increases. If players were super intelligent, we could fix the problem ourselves by high-alching all rares. Then Jagex could delete them entirely or reintroduce them as untradeable. But that isn't how society works - I'll admit I wouldn't even alch a party hat (I'd sell it), and Jagex will need to solve the rares problem for us. Imagine the amount of whips in the game must equal the amount of rares in the game. All others are destroyed, but you still have a whip. Well of course you are going to give a whip for a few mil even though they cost a many millions (in this scenario), I mean, If I sold it at what it is being asked for, then I would be greedy, wouldn't I? That explains the supply and demand thing  If Party hat is useless, then what does that make other "show off" items? should we make them available to everybody too? I do want a highwayman mask, a black cavalier, and a mime mask & beret. Those items are hot holiday items. Useless items should have at least SOME idea of a reasonable price (TT items do), or should be untradeable. I notice that you didn't say your purple party hat. Why is that? It seems you don't care for rares, so this may be biased for all I know. You are correct. I think rares are stupid. Even if rares were 100k each, I wouldn't buy them because it's a waste of money for something that does nothing to improve my account. If they're free, on the other hand, I can detract from my normal activities for 5 minutes to get them all at once, and put them in my costume room to rot. My money is better spent on swords I can bash peoples' heads in with, and armor to prevent them from doing the same, than a hat that does nothing. Its a good thing I learned about logical fallacies in english recently: Non Sequitur. That first statement had nothing to do with the second. In response to the first statement. Its not that you can be anyone, its that you can not be yourself. In responce to the second statement: why not? I joined at a later date than some people, shouldn't I be able to play on RSC? Shouldn't I be able to re experience the falador massacre, the knife glitch, the old wild, the old graphics, the glitches, the guy that made legs into skirts and vice versa (D shirt -->d legs = cash)? I think you are tellling me I should I'm talking about the ability to obtain in-game rewards (items & other things). None of those are achievements/rewards; they are events, experiences, etc. You say the party hat is less useful than toilet paper. Certainly is. I can't use a partyhat to wipe - yeah Therefore, you should have no problem removing all the treaure trail items and replacing them with money, would you? I mean, they have about the same use as a party hat, except are more common. Lets make an NPC hand out free TT items. I mean, come on, all you had to do was earn a few million gp or play for some years to get a party hat. How about we allow everyone to get all the quest items from an NPC without doing the quest. I bet we would all love elite black armour and Dagon'hai robes. Those ancient magics could be available from the start. Lets cut out the need to even use runes! I mean, you only have to spend like 500k or something for 60 magic, so lets let ice rush become available at level 1 magic. That should make us all even right? I don't even have enough time in life to get Ancient magic, a dark bow,a godsword, or even a party hat. Why dont we just let another NPC give out free AGSs? I mean, its only a symbol of obtaining 75 attack and being able to get 1 from GWD or buy it, just as a party hat is a symbol of having enough money to get one. Don't agree with me? Then you don't agree with Jard y dooku. Treasure trail items are not rare items. Runes are not rare items. Ancient magic isn't even an item. They can be freely obtained at any time, so there is no problem with them. And no, you're completely wrong about the AGS. It's not a status symbol at all. It's a useful weapon allowing you to train up to 4 skills. Wow, Why can't I write this much in my english stuff? konets All in all, thank you for your thorough post. Again, I don't agree, but I am glad you took the time to read my post thoroughly and post your thoughts. I hope you appreciate that I have done the same for your post. Or, they could just change the game to use a long instead of an int for item amounts. Then the cap would be 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 coins rather than 2,147,483,647. And I guarantee you NO ONE will ever get that much money, or that much of any item for that matter. Or they could implement certificates which can be exchanged for 1 million coins and vice versa, at any bank. No. That's not helping to remedy the problem because it would introduce another item that cannot be earned solely through hard work and dedication. I mentioned earlier that all the high scores need is an extra field, "Member since:".

Though I disagree with you, thank you for reading the entire post. halonachos yum. ok then go get your levels and leave the items alone GEEEEEZ. why cant you just state the fact that some items stand for a simple born date and you cant admit that you werent around when others were. Who says I wasn't around? I'm complaining that the system is unfair for everyone.
  20. The biggest problem I see with those who disagree is that you think these old holiday items give some sort of "advantage" to older players. They don't. Us older players can get advantages through levels and wealth. The main point is that everyone should be able to achieve the same thing through hard work, not having been in the right place at the right time, and not through their own choices or intelligence, but because the pieces just happened to fall into place that way. I have higher levels than most of you because I spent more time working on them. Does this mean that because I started working on Prayer 2 years ago, that I should be able to have the skill cape, but since you just started two weeks ago, you shouldn't be able to get it? No, we should both have the same opportunity to obtain a Prayer skill cape. I don't have a Prayer skill cape because I started earlier on in the game than you... I have one because I worked longer and harder at it. This should be the same for all items, and in fact, every achievement in the game.
  21. Ah, but it is broken, which is why I'm suggesting it be fixed. As I mentioned, what has happened with rares was never meant to, thus it is broken. That's the thing. They were NEVER meant to be status symbols. My Armadyl godsword is much more of a status symbol than a partyhat. How long you've been playing really doesn't impress me at all. When I see someone with a scythe I don't think "wow ur so kewl cuz u bin play since liek 2003 omfg". I think "wow, you're a noob, you're only level 50". Partyhats cost an upwards of 80M on the GE currently, that amount of money contained in one item is a hell of a lot whatever way you look at it. Jagex never intended for them to rise to such levels, but they have and making them untradeable is unneccessary. Also, who said anything about the scythes and bunny ears being worn to impress? It is an irrelevant point to bring in, that is like me saying that we should remove cooking skill capes because they don't impress me. We don't need items to show how long we've been playing. All Jagex needs to do is put a field on the highscores "Member since:". Just like on the Tip.It forums member profiles. Problem solved. Give Joe Newb his scythe and bunny ears. If Jagex were capable of implementing this feature and making it easily viewable ingame for everybody to see then I would support your idea, although I still think it would need careful consideration so the market doesn't go haywire. ;) I'm a software engineer and I can tell you that implementing that feature is a 5-minute task. Jagex has our account creation dates stored in our character profiles, all that's needed is a few extra lines of code to read and display that value, along with the other 300.

  23. You have a point, and I did mention that all the items could be made untradeable/deleted with no GP return, but that would make pretty much every rare owner EXTREMELY upset, and a fair number would probably quit the game. But I'll say this again: it really would be for the greater good, and not a lot of people have rares, so perhaps you're right, the 'delete item' idea would be even better. Thank you for your support, Trojann. You're also high level, so it's good to see support from someone like you. Also, thank you for reading the post ALL THE WAY to the end. Untrue. Party hats don't symbolize how long you've played - I could buy one right now for a few hundred mill, and I wasn't around when they were dropped. What they DO do is give whoever was around then a HUGE advantage over someone who just joined today - a newb could have picked a few off the ground (I've seen a screenshot of 51 blues when they were dropped) and be set for life because of it. Exactly. That's the problem with them, something Jagex never fixed. If they'd done it earlier, it would have saved us the extreme trouble of solving it now, which can cause a lot more economic damage then it would have if they'd fixed it ASAP. Thanks for your support. And you're thinking of Thrandor BTW. ;) How is it dumb, and where does it contradict itself? Also I'll admit it's nothing like being discriminated against due to race, but I'm making a point of "equal opportunity for all".
