  1. Oops, I guess I broke the law then. I listened to a few songs on the radio today and didn't buy the rights to listen to them.
  2. -.- Not saying you're trying to scam us (the people who think everything anyone ever posts here is a scam/virus/harmful are not very educated), but that's technologically untrue what you said (I highlighted it in bold). JavaScript is executable and can be used harmfully too. I'd recommend reading up on XSS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XSS
  3. This could be done easily, but it would require breaking the RuneScape Terms and Conditions and a good knowledge of Java and reverse engineering. So don't bother.
  4. That Witch is NOT level 25. She has no level and therefore should not really be in the Bestiary. Shame on you for making me think for a second that my Ultimate Monster Examine Guide missed a monster!
  5. Certain blocks/scans look for the file name that initialized it, and if it isn't a typical used name (such as iexplore[Caution: Executable File] or firefox[Caution: Executable File]) certain things may be blocked. Our old high-school program blocker was very similar. If you simply changed the program name to iexplore[Caution: Executable File] or notepad[Caution: Executable File], it would allow you to run it. ~Dan It can't be that, because HD was working just prior to this update.
  6. Interesting... maybe I jump to conclusions too soon. Did they update SwiftKit just today or are you using a version from some-time previous?
  7. If fullscreen is not working for you, here is one possible solution: IF you are using a 3rd party client to play RuneScape which is not Jagex's official client, or a major web browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox, try changing the filename of whatever your program is called, to "iexplore[Caution: Executable File]" and it should work. I do not know if this is a move on Jagex's part to discourage 3rd party client use, but we will soon. Now, I don't/won't reverse engineer RS, so don't ask me to. My point is that others do, and due to that, we have information due to them telling us their findings. So don't go reporting this thread because it mentions "RuneScape" and "reverse engineering" in the same post. The dragon platebody thread is still around here somewhere, and no one's complained. Anyways, it seems fairly coincidental that two "3rd party" clients (one being SwiftKit) stopped working in HD. So hopefully this simple instruction is a help to those users. It could be a completely honest mistake on Jagex's part, because they do say on their website that 3rd party clients are fine if certain rules are followed, but it seems a bit suspicious. Like I said - we'll know sooner or later. Nothing is safe from the decompiler.
  8. Its not been solved yet. However a big hint to 150 quest was danger at 4 compass points. Logic dictates the north is the mahjaratt The east is drakan - who is a mahjaratt so tht'd make a story overlap The west is elves who are trying to summon zammy...a mahjaratt tht fits with north who cant walk the land as the guthixian edicts forbid gods to walk the land but the drakan story line is breaking them so tht fits South is the glouphire gnomes and this wonderful prediction. Mahjaratt pretender could be Arrav in latest quest we learn when zemergoul focuses elsewhere arrav can have some control so if zemergoul is focused on the ritual or a war then arrav culd help us Contrary to popular belief, Drakan is NOT a Mahjarrat. He is a vampyre.
  9. Then they need to fricking close existing storylines and make NEW LINES! Instead of letting 20 god damn lines go on for 10 years.
  10. Examine info is "He has seen better, happier days."
  11. Post here instead: viewtopic.php?f=227&t=763738
  12. Examines are: "It hasn't quite got round to dying." and "This is a rotten one."
  13. Monday, September 29, 2008 Added Armoured zombie (level-85)
  14. With some good regex, leetspeak could be automatically turned into English. I wouldn't recommend that, though, as it could and would likely cause problems with legitimate text.
  15. It wouldn't make a difference because I can just write a program to automatically convert it to English. And you spelled [)3(yph3r wrong. It's [)3(1ph3r.
  16. Corrected a couple minor grammar issues in the comments; next revision may include a new function. :P
  17. Haha. How often do we EVER fight dark mages?
  18. Monday, September 22, 2008 Added Giant Sea Snake (level-149)
  19. What the hell is "puncture"? Tip.It's censor so strange that I can't figure it out. EDIT: Found it. LOL you guys are imaginative. Kind of pointless, because this allows people to even more easily figure out what a censored word is, by context. Plus the fact that every 5 year old knows every bit of vulgar language in existence these days.
  20. Tell me, have you ever met a corporation whose intent is not making money? But on topic. Look at it this way. Most noobs will probably pick the under this age on the sign up applet, unless their friends joined before that. Next, assuming some noobs manage to be out of the noob filter, we still have the ignore list. Ignore list full? Delete the top few, then just add him. I don't think that there is any problem. : He was being sarcastic.
  21. Actually, Jagex's own formula is wrong. Nice try. I was still level 135 at 79 summoning. Odd prayer and summoning levels don't count. EDIT: AllBogs, why do you have "Obsidian Synergy" as a comment in the max hit formula? I've never seen that listed anywhere but RuneHQ, and who knows where they got it, along with Keris' "Scabaras Slayer". Apparently some skills, after applying the fractions, are always rounded down. Only prayer and summoning, which equates to the English expression "odd prayer and summoning levels don't count". Not "some"... only those 2. Just clarifying.
  22. Quote RuneScape: The Keris is a weapon designed to be used against kalphites and the dastardly followers of Scabaras; as such, it may inflict up to three times more damage when used against them Most special attacks / special effects have official Jagex names. That's a description, not a name.

  24. Oh you bastard  *Holds out hand to receive bet money*
