i assume u were joking there.. C++ is a programming language (not a scripting language) which was originally build (in the early 80's) as a layer above the C programming language. Untill Java showed up (early 90's ), C and C++ were the most widly used programming languages. Nowdays the usage is about 35%-35%- 15%-15% (Java,C++,C#,others - not confirmed, just made it up lol). Most of the MMORPGs out there are built using C++ since C++ ,though old, is still the fastest one around (executing ,not developing). Java?Java was never meant to be a language for complicated graphics (this is why rs looks the way it is,though Jagex are doing an incredibly amazing job within the language limitation). My guess,Jagex are not shifting to C++ in the near future.. C++ is THE preferred corporate programming language, though Java and C are more widely used.

I notice that no images will load on the Rune Tips main site... the forums are fine, but no images will load on the main site. My friend says it's fine but they won't load for me... never happened before. "403 Forbidden :: You don't have permission to access /images/whatever_image.gif on this server" Advice: don't play with file permissions unless you know what you're doing. Smile -rw-r--r-- please! EDIT: Found if I turn privacy control off on Norton Internet Security, it works fine. However, this NEVER happened before when it was on! BTW, I still need help... Norton sucks.

CamStudio, found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/ is absolutely EXCELLENT. Free, open-source (SourceForge ftw) and no nonsense watermarks. I HIGHLY recommend downloading the CamStudio lossless codec as well, so you can make videos with lossless compression... so they don't look like a bunch of JPEGS (gross!). Lossless ftw. Just a note: the player has a small bug where it deletes a section of the video when watching it, however the actual file is NOT corrupted so if you watch it in Windows Media Player or any other player, it's fine. EDIT: Another bug I found: recording takes out a 1 pixel high and (half of video width) pixel wide section of the video when recording; this seems to actually be in the video. I have my C++ book on my desk and Visual Studio 2005 Standard is awaiting shipping from Amazon so hopefully I'll be able to fire it up and fix a few bugs!

Hello, I know some of us like to have our weird little collections; I saw a thread on this earlier. I myself collect strange fruit... I've been playing 10 months and I have a quest cape. I did about 80 quests my first month (yes, starting at level 3) and 20 or so more, the second. I did Fight Arena at about level 17... Dragon Slayer at about 28... Monkey Madness at 66... Legends at 69... Desert Treasure at 71.
