Computer Specs? I would have to believe that its one of three things. A faulty CPU/or Motherboard, as its lagging your entire computer. Bad Sound Card....I know from experience, my sound card sometimes fs up games really badly. Bad graphics card, maybe even overheating of the graphics card. Also, are these games all online? Does your internet lag also?

Hey While using Adobe Photoshop 8 CS, I keep encountering the same error. When I click to use a tool, it usually works. However, sometimes it just shows nothing. Here is an example of what I mean: As you can see, the tool is clicked, but the normal mouse cursor remains. This means I cannot use this tool at all! Whats going on? Have I locked something? Also, sometimes it happens halfway through doing something, sometimes it may happen even before I start. Help Please! Bmw :cry:

How exactly would this work? I don't quite get it. So what if we can see whats behind us on our screen? Isnt the point to have solid colour behind what we are viewing? Its like setting our desktop theme to transparent, and its pretty annoying if you ask me. :?

Man, so much for the extra sunlight. Its a blizzard outside here in Toronto, and on top of that rain has been mixed in with the snow for the past two days. What a mess! On the bright side (no pun intended) it's supposed to be 17 degreese celcius in two days, so I'm pretty happy about that! I was watching CNN when they officially annouced it at around 2:50 eastern time, when the Vatican reps were giving their official speech. Pretty sad. I am not Catholic, or even Christian for that matter. Why does it affect me? He was the only Pope I've ever known. He made time to connect with youths, AND people from other religions, not only catholics. He cared about all other religions as well. Thats a really good guy. He's done a ton of amazing things in his time, but it had to happen sooner or later. His condition was getting worse, and he is now onto a better life. RIP Pope John Paul II. Edit to the guy who said the Italian news reported it yesterday: They did so because his brain stopped working for a certain period of time, so it was assumed for a while that he was dead. It was an accident, which was soon after denied by the Vatican. He "officially" died at 2:37pm eastern, but his spirit had supposedly left long before that.

My Tops: Fallout 2!!!! - Amazing Game, It was the craze for me, my friends, and my teacher about 5 or so years ago. Wonderful story to it. Starcraft - Really good game. Overall gameplay is just extremely fun. Age of Empires - Same as starcraft, just really really fun. Worms Armageddon - Man, how cool is this game!!! Mech Warrior - Yet another really fun game Command and Conquerer - Running out of adjectives to describe these cool games!

It's gotta be overpopulated for sure. Full of disease, with scientists confused and stumped. A terrible place to live. If not, a crater will hit the earth, "restarting" it all over again. We've already come quite far in technology.

Reggae? Pretty cool. Beenie Man has some really good songs, classics are Romie and Sim Simma Sean Paul has some good reggae songs too, most of his songs are either reggae or r&b, so check him out. So yea..anyone know why my program is doing this? (Last post, 1st page) It's pretty annoying. I'm going through tutorials learning how to do different cool things (yea..so far it has been pretty cool!) but I can't get halfway through something without having to restart the program. Halfway through the tools just don't work...I click a tool, go into my workspace to use it, but nothing happens. The same pointer is still there (regular white mouse cursor) so I cant do anything except for pointless clicking. Help Please!

Well I have photoshop 8 CS now...its pretty cool. Im looking through some tutorials at the website you have told me to..things are going ok..getting the hang slowly. One thing tho, when I click something on the toolbar like text, the little text cursor should show up when I move the mouse into the box? Sometimes it does that and works great, other times it still shows the normal mouse cursor. I can click and try everything under the toolbar, like gradient, crop, rectangle box, but the cursor never changes :? Any idea why? The problem is usually fixed by restarting the program..but its kinda annoying.

any tips for doing things like logos..abstract wallpapers/backgrounds?

Hey, Well I've had a lot of free time lately, and I have been browsing through the media boards. Some of the work here is amazing..like...jaw dropping :shock: Many talented artists on tip it forums, and I am inspired to test my skill in simple graphic designs, sigs, etc. The one thing is that I am terrible at drawing :lol: I've never tried to draw on the computer really, but do you really need to have good drawing skills in order to create good looking work? Any tips on practicing? Im getting Adobe Photoshop CS 8 in about 30 minutes, 25 ..wait 23 seconds ( :lol: yea, don't ask) and would like some tips from the best out there, and how you got started!
