IIRC, your prayer points are drained when you enter Elvarg's room. Hence, the protect prayer won't work... Have you even done the quest? I used protect from mage, and no, I didn't use p pots. Unless they changed it within the last few months, your prayer doesn't get drained.

Or something that I got from google, then zoomed in and used the pencil tool in paint to get rid of everything but the ostrich....... : :anxious:

INTRODUCTION: My brother and I were wondering, how does the plume (ostrich feather) get on the helmet while making a helmet with bars? Answer: Make special "enchanted" helmets with a new hunter animal, the ostrich. Helmet Idea. The idea is this, when making full helms, you get the choice of making a finished or unfinished full helm. If you choose finished, you get a regular full helm, but if you choose unfinished, you get the helmet without the plume. Why would you want this? Simple, you can make the helm enchanted. Making the potion. To make the potion to make the plume enchanted, you must have have 40 herblore. The ingredients are all herbs up to rannar, and you must use them in order. Then, your use the four elemental runes on a pestle & mortar to make elemental ash. Use the elemental ashes on the potion in this order: air, water, earth, and fire. This will make an enchanted potion. Finishing the helmet. Use the potion one the plume, and it'll become enchanted. With a crafting lvl of 40, use the plume on the helmet, and it'll become an enchanted enter metal of helmet here helmet, which gives an extra +5 to all defence stats, a +2 to prayer and a +3 to strength (thanks to jondea0 for the strength and prayer bonuses.) Getting the plume. To get the plume, you must hunt, yes hunt, ostriches. They are located in the desert, south of the shantey past. To see the location, look at this map: To hunt them you must have a lvl of 30 hunter, and they have there own way of catching them, Giant Lassoing (name up for discussion). Here is a picture of the new section and what it looks the ostrich looks like: You would buy a giant lasso from any hunter shop for 500gp (price nagotiable(sp?)). Also, to make getting the plume alot, and I mean ALOT easier, you can buy a special ostrich costume from any hunter shop for 10k (again, price nagotiable(sp?)). From what I remember, haven't logged in yet today, my total lvl is 1002, take that and divide it by 71 (my combat lvl), and I get 14.112676056338028169014084507042 :shock: Uhhhhh........Let's just say I got 14....... :anxious: :-$

I've had two, but I forgot the first one, it was something about me getting an abby whip from a new area with abby demons. This one was from a week or so ago: My mom gave my family phats, and mine was blue. Somehow, I got mine digitalized into runescape, where i was in the wilderness, and somehow I this emote :roll: and this emote =D> (I think it was these two) equipped. So then some guy starts to pk me, so i unequip every thing I had on me, and drop them, but I only got to dropping and unequipping those two emote things, so the pker kills me and get's my blue phat. I started to :cry: in my dream. Then I woke up wondering if it was really all a dream. :-k

I'd personnally(sp) love to have a rs poster or model. Heh, having a little figurine of my character with removable weapons and armor. 1. Hmm, well, this should settle all the "should I buy a d axe" questions on the general help & advice forums. And it looks like it really does help alot. Well, that's ALOT of yew to cut, and alot of hours to take. But you can still sell the d axe when your done with woodcutting. And now, I wonder how many yews it will take with his new assumption(sp) of 14.3%. 14.3/100=0.143, which you then move over 2 decimals, so 14.3. So you would get around 114 or 115 logs an hour. So that's about an extra 3360gp per hour. I don't know how to figure the rest out, so you'll have to do that. :wink:

If you talk to him, he'll give you odd jobs too. Rewards, from what I've heard, could be prayer exp or seeds. Not sure if you can get other stuff from him though.

This question may sound childish, so don't laugh. The thing is, I'm afraid of spiders, and I mean really, really afraid of them, and the runehq guide (I think it was the runehq one, it might have been tip.it's guide) said it has given some people nightmares. :shock: :ohnoes: So, if anyone who is afraid of spiders has done the quest already, can they give me hints on how keep from seeing to many spiders. p.s.
