Quelmotz, please go away. OT: In riality though, there are some updates they could do weekly. Those updates are fixes for features that really need of an update (like the small stuff). However, Jagex do need to release actual content more frequent. They are a decently large staff with experience.

Also, are overloads good for 3-4 man? Is it not worth it?

I just got 95 pray/overloads, and was wondering if someone could tell me good inventory? I have verac helm arma chest/legs/dfs/inf boots/ee stats: 99 hp, 90 def, 95 pray, overloads+spikes for range pots, 88 summon, 99 mage.

I remember him. He appeared I think last year. It's from what I can recall, a really old rsc account where you start with 1 hp (or reset stats, not sure) but I believe it was hacked from what I can recall. Thought it got banned after iit's last apperence..

however, noone would participate in manipulation clans, as the chances of being online when the dump takes place is now about 1/6 of what it is now, as updates are 6 times more frequent. It would be just so obvious that only high ranks profit, that merching clans would inevitably die unless they were actually fair and everyone dumps as agreed. a major factor in the whole 4h situation is that you can't be online for every update. that means setting offers right after an update is less important than currently, manipulating becomes a 24h activity. When items are manipulated, graphs update quickly. you can therefore see a manipulation spike after a maximum of 12 hours, rather than 2-3 days with current 24-30h updates. Those of us who pay attention, can therefore safe-guard against buying manipulated items a lot easier. How it atually functions, that's more guesswork. this is my guess. That's basically suming it up.

I thought of a way to strongly reduce manipulation clans buying out items. What about updating ge every 4 hours? Update at the limits of item buying. Scenario: A clan is buying out an item, lets say zamorak wines before it was recently bought out and dumped. Every 2-5 hours, the wine goes up 5%, soon reaching the dumping point. Of course, the top ranks usually dump their load before the agreed price, so the clan is left with junk. The wine will fall 5% of their price, and most of the clan will be stuck with it because they will have little time to sell off the junk because of the new limits. Thus, people will be less motivated than before to join these clans, and clans will start to dissapear. Of course there is also the possibility that because higher ranks dump early, they will make more money. So to cancel that, make like a 10k limit of selling materials so they can't dump it at once, and other members will figure out what is happening. This will not effect discontinued items or items over 200m ge price. Any thought? Do you think this would work?

Actually, in p2p servers it's not hard to find friendly players. I find plenty of them. I don't think it's a cracker though, I think it's that ship thingy from rsc.
