Personally I use the one by the Piscatoris Colony. You need the use of fairy rings for this (if not, just start fairytale pt. 2, you'll gain access very close to the beginning, and don't need the reqs), just fairy ring to zanaris, load up, fairy ring to the area below Piscatoris, then go some north and down the trapdoor, infuse, head back to the rings, etc.

I said that exact thing to a thread you replied to yesterday. But yeah, stringing is faster exp overall, but can get boring easily. So fletching logs is preferred to switch between tabs or watch movies. Yep, and I used it! It was a pretty helpful tip (as I wouldn't be able to only string, now that I've done it).

They both make money, only stringing makes more than fletching and stringing, and is faster, but I prefer to fletch since I can flip flop between screens, so I don't get too bored. I'd buy 1k yew logs, and 1k bowstrings, then fletch the 1k, then string the 1k, see how you like both. Personally, I'm doing both of them to keep my sanity lol.
  4. This is also boring (unless they changed it while I was gone). I'd test it out before you go full blown at it.
  5. That is very true, keep an eye on the prices.
  6. Lol wow, that's one heck of a coincidence! I guess he is going to be an uber miner! lol   \ this blawgs a beast Lol thanks!
  7. There's a lot of things, check the AOW for guides (or even skim the recent 5 pages, you're sure to find quite a few money making guides).
  8. There's a lot more ways to make money now, a lot faster than fletching too.
  9. Lol yeah, but people caught on and closed that gap with the prices.
  10. Will you be only stringing? Or fletching and stringing? FLETCHING AND STRINGING Yew logs = 444gp Bow strings = 173gp ----- Total = 617 Yew longs = 650 That's approximately 33gp per bow profit. ONLY STRINGING Yew long (u) = 437 Bow strings = 173 ----- Total = 610 Yew longs = 650 That's approximately 40gp per bow So you get more profit (and speed) from only stringing, but personally I prefer fletching so I can switch between tip.it and RS, or watch a movie for more than 4 seconds so I don't get bored. I find that stringing is too fast to really do anything else, but too slow to keep my attention. It's up to you though, on your attention span and what you can handle.
  11. You can start yew longs at 70, do those until 99.
  12. Good luck on 99 strength! The only way I'll get 99 strength is if i got 99 attack and defense as well (always training controlled) lol. Keep it up!
  13. Read the Very end for the sum of this... Alright, question on the ruby tipped bolts thing, I buy adamant bolts (unf) (~205), feathers (~4), and rubies (~1,211). Then I attach the feathers to the bolts, and then the tips to the bolts, correct? I'd need to make about 887,973 of those. If I can make 12 tips from each ruby, that's 2,460gp per ruby, 1,211 for a ruby, and 4 for a feather, which comes to ~3,671. Now, each ruby bolt sells for about 313gp, and 12 of those = 3,756. That's a profit of about 85gp per bolt. That would be equal to 75,477,705gp profit. On the flip side, if I don't attach any feathers, I need to attach 1,874,610 ruby tips to the bolts. Now, each adamant bolt = 200, and the gems stay the same. So for about 12 bolts, that's 2,400 per gem, and each gem is 1,211. So that's about 3611, and each still sells for 3,756. That's 145 profit per bolt. That'd equal 271,818,450. I put in an order for rubies at median price, got them instantly. I put in for some adamant bolts (unf), and still didn't get them. If I paid maximum price, that's 216 per bolt, and end up losing 47 per bolt, which sums up to a pretty big loss that I'm not willing to lose for fletching. I put in for adamant bolts and got them instantly at median price, so no attaching feathers. I counted it to attach 10 bolts to 10 tips every second, and at 1,874,610, that's 187,461 seconds, 3124.35 minutes, and lastly, 52.0725 hours. So that's about 53 (I round up, no matter what) for 99 fletching (from 75) and 271,818,450. Something is VERY off with these numbers and I don't know what. I didn't feel like editing my calculations, so I'll just do this: I just put in some ruby bolts at median price (313) and no instant sell, if I put them in at minimum (297), that's the same as if I bought unfinished bolts at max, a price I'm not willing to lose for fletching. So it looks like all these calculations kind of went for nothing, since the only way to sell these, I'd be making a huuuge loss. Did I do something wrong? Or is it just not worth it to do it this method? I wouldn't care if i lost some money on this, but not that big (47 loss per bolt * 1,874,610 bolts = 88,106,670). So looking at these, how on earth do you make pure money with this method? I've only come up with a huuuge loss unless I can buy and sell at median price, which you can't really do in an efficient time period.
  14. Lol, well 15 is a little young, and I don't want to promote teenage pregnancies (eh, 17's close enough to 18!), but I love being a dad! And thanks, you bigger...poopier head! lol. No, no you don't. I had to help take care of my girl-friends, sister's, baby while my parents were on vacation and I was staying at there house... The baby was 5 months old and cried so, so much... I could of punted it across the room and not cared, and it was only for a week! *Guess we all know who isn't going to be the god father* <- Hunting is a great 99, Good luck! ~ Captainkidd Yeah, I was like that before I had my son too, all babies were just so annoying, but then I had my son and it all changed. Granted he is a very good baby (doesn't really cry unless he's hungry), and everyone that's around him always says how good of a baby he is and all that. If you ever have a kid, Captainkidd (lol, Kidd's going to have a kid), it'll be different...but only do it when/if you're ready! lol. And yeah, I've always wanted hunter because it's pretty sweet, but I've just been doing other things (like not playing lol), but thanks!
  15. Ok, thanks for that information, guys!
  16. Yes, they're pretty bad at crossing, that's why you should always bring some low leveled food and an antipoison when you go into that area.
  17. Ok, I'll look into putting ruby tips on addy bolts, and then the potatoes and pizzas.
  18. As long as you have at least two 99's, it'll be trimmed.
  19. Sorry for the wrong area, I didn't think it was an update or suggestion, just a question on why it's like that. And thanks for that, Pryomancer.
  20. Ah, thanks for that information, Kent.
  21. Ok, did something happen with the hide tags? Before you could have nested tags: [hide=hiding hide tags]maybe an intro here, maybe not [hide=inside the hiding tags]more detailed information[/hide] [/hide] But when you do that, you get: [hide=hiding hide tags]maybe an intro here, maybe not [hide=inside the hiding tags]more detailed information[/hide] [/hide] So what's going on? Am I missing something?
