Would that be snaps for all patches? (I don't have access to my arm's BTW) About how many would I get per patch and how many of them would die? I recommend getting access to My Arm's Patch, never have to worry about dying, and it's another patch of herbs! Do you have the Magic Secateurs? Usually with those you can get about 5 or 6 herbs a patch. So if you use the main 4 herb patches, that's 20-24 herbs, plus an additional 5 or 6 if you unlock My Arm's Patch. As for dying, I'm not sure, just factor in a patch dying every round or couple rounds.
  2. I've decided to do some fletching, and very gradually work towards the cape (fletching and stringing a few k yew longs here and there). I'm also thinking about hunting while I'm taking breaks from fletching, maybe aim for that cape too (get it trimmed by fletching).
  3. There's now a cooking question involved.
  4. Ok, thanks for that, guys! How fast is fletching the logs?
  5. Thanks, but wouldn't it be easier to find someone to buy them on the RSOF?
  6. Alright, I'm just doing some calculations here, and there's some questions that came up and are vital to getting close to what I'm aiming for. Fletching 1. I've heard stringing is a lot faster than making (U)'s, true? 2. How much faster is it? (whether it be stringing being faster, or the carving) 3. For the faster method, about how many logs/bows per hour can you do? 4. Do people still trade supplies for products? Answers so far: 1. Yes; 2. Possibly 30k/hr; 3. (actually timed myself, about 1400, I get distracted easily); 4. Not really; REC: fletch ruby tips, add to addy bolts Hunter 1. From 70, what are the xp/hr rates of catching Chins? (i.e. 250/hr at 70; 275/hr at 80, etc; whatever it may be) 2. How's competition for these bad boys? 3. Would you recommend going to red chins at 70, or 80, maybe even 63? I'd be doing red sallys until then. Answers so far: 1. Not worth it; 2. Still pretty bad; 3. 80 Fishing 1. Same as Hunter, from 72, what are the xp/rates of catching Monks? (i.e. 250/hr at 70 (just go to 70 instead of 72); 275/hr at 80, etc; whatever it may be) Answers so far: 1. About 30k/hr? REC: Barbarian Fishing Cooking 1. About how many pieces of food can you cook in an hour using the Rogue's Den fire? Answers so far: 1. About 1400-1600 Thanks!
  7. Thanks! I'm hoping to improve them quite a bit yet!

Not really, I hate woodcutting. Try looking on the World Map, Yews are marked with a tree icon.

DT Skeles are the Giant Skeletons that are in Damis' lair. You can access them during the Damis part of Desert Treasure (Shadow Diamond).
  10. [hide=] Don't count something as useless just because you don't use it. There's a lot of people who use it, which can't be considered useless. You could have phrased it "I think the legends cape is useless" though. It's useless to anybody with some common Runescape sense. If you can do Legends, you can spend 200k for an obby cape. Why waste the 200k for two more points? When I did Legends, I wasn't very rich (I'm still not), and I wouldn't go blow 200k just for a cape. Because it's better, and you can sell it back when you can get a better cape. Secondly, I did say do the quest, but I also said don't wear the cape. If you don't have 200k, make it. It's easy if you have the knowledge, which is what TIF is for. I never said I can't make it, I just said I don't want to waste 200k on a cape when I can get a cape with almost the same stats for damn near free. Obsidian cape is free if you use a different sense of logic, as you can always sell it back. Legends quest takes... err... 2-3 hours, which for me is 2-3m. To a newb, it's at least 1m. [/hide] So it's good to do the quest, but when it's over, you shouldn't buy the cape because it took too long, even though you've just done it? Use some logic as well, Kent. A majority of RS (including me) doesn't make 1m+ an hour. If you're going to take the time to do the quest for the requirement or any other reason, there's no reason to opt for the Obsidian cape. Kent, you have some credentials, I give you that. But in no means are you a complete expert over the game. Everyone of your posts, if someone disagrees, you go after them. I'm going to be done posting after this since we're just spamming up this thread, but you should really look into taking your stubbornness down a notch. My opinion: Obsidian cape isn't worth 270k for +9 stats, especially since you can get Legend's Cape for 750gp for +7 stats. What if you die? That's another 270k for an obsidian cape, but only 750gp for another Legends Cape. It's 2-3 hours one time only, whereas you might have to make more money to get an Obsidian Cape. Don't be so ignorant and call everyone a newb for not being able to make 1m+ an hour, we're not all rich and don't have your stats. With that being said, I'm done.

  13. Yes, that's me dancing above . Hey there, and welcome to my blog of goals and levels...and all that jazz. This blog is mainly for me to just keep track of my progress sort of, so don't expect to see this wonderful masterpiece of blogs, because it's just squiggly lines. [hide=About Vulxai]Well I'm currently a college student going for Computer and Network Security. I started Vulxai in 2006 when I moved in with my uncle (that was a great year), and he's the only account I've gone past level 30 with. I've played for quite a while. I used to watch my cousin when it first came out in...2001? Then he got me started in it. Most of my accounts I don't remember (save for one with bunny ears, one that's a pure mage, and one that's just a random f2p skiller). I have a son (I was a 17 year old father, 5 days away from being a 16 year old father), and I'm proud of it. I'm a soldier in the Army National Guard with plans to becoming an Officer. I'm currently and Enlisted 88m (Motor Transport Operator). I'm also a Lakota. If you don't know what that is, I'm Native American. I'm just a casual player who plays when he can. My stats aren't great, my bank's messy and poor, and I really don't care. As long as I'm having a good time, that's all that counts. I do have one 99 stat, which is Cooking (flame me, I really don't care). I got it because I enjoyed it. I would love 99 herblore, but alas, I'm poor! So I have no 99 goals, just play whatever I feel like. Hit the "Random Objective" button and go do it! In February 2010, I was made Crew for the Tip.it Forums. So now my time consists of my casual playing plus research for the crew. I'm still often seen in the Help and Advice forums, which is where I always have been, and always will be. ![/hide] [hide=Stats]Here's my current stats at the start of this blog And here's my current stats. 15. I felt the Legends Quest was definitely worth it! It'll probably take you a week or two to finish it (depending on how much time you dedicate to it), whether you go and do it all right away, or do some of it then skill. But yeah, if you did it straight, you'd still have some time in that week to play. Plus, if you ever die and lose your obsidian cape, instead of forking over another 260k (or whatever the price is) for a cape, you can pay 750gp for a Legends Cape, which is more respected, and only lose 2 points.
  16. Stat sigs use the RS Highscores. So if you have a stat that isn't ranked, it'll show up as a 1. So if you get your stats ranked, it'll automatically change. Until then, I'm not sure how to do it manually with the pre-made ones. I think you have to manually change it if you do a custom one. And welcome to the forums! I'm Vulxai (you can call me whatever you want for short lol), hopefully you enjoy it here!
  17. Yep, that was my bad, I just searched and thought that one was it, but I'm sure this one is what you want
  18. Here's the guide you'll want! Just get a plan of what you'll be doing, and buy doubles of those for placeholders. Always use the "Withdraw all but One" option if applicable.
  19. I'm going to try and be there! I'm going to be training until then! There's quite a few members of my clan that'll support Tip.it as well! Let's own again!
  20. You need some Rubies (uncut or cut, whatever your budget is), gold ore or gold bars, and a bracelet mould. If you have gold ore, smelt it into gold bars (preferably with gold smithing gaunts), then take your gold bars (or start here if you skipped the ore) and your rubies with your mould to the furnace, and use a gold bar with the furnace, you'll get a menu, right click the only available and choose the either Make All or Make X options (can't remember if they give you an all option). Then you'll make your ruby bracelets. Enchanting them is your choice, but it's tedious because you have to manually click on the spell and then each bracelet.
  21. It takes about 2 seconds, and it'll cut down on his running.
  22. Then again you are only using 3 traps, and don't smoke your traps. I smoked them and had 4 going and caught them most of the time.
  23. I'd go with reds. I've done my share of oranges, and reds, and I'm never still with reds, which is what I like. And yes, wearing Graahk helps with orange sallys. Do you smoke your traps? I always smoke them, it's made a difference to me. And lay as many traps as you can, but bring extras in case randoms make you lose some.
  24. OK, I'll do some price reasearching on the casual way and calculating when i get home. Thanks!
  25. Yeah, I meant to make junk, actually. Lol, ok.
