I disagree, as a Pure f2p, ive seen the decrease in begging/scamming/plain idiocy first hand. but go to the GE on worlds 1 or 3 and, welll..... :oops: I was on f2p for a few hours today with a friend, and I ended up turning off public because of the noobs that swarmed me constantly. Were you Decked out in members gear? eg. DFS, GodSwords etc .if so, id expect it I'm too poor to afford all that expensive stuff, I had on a neitiznot and whip still equipped, but other than that, I pretty much had f2p equipment on.

Just curious, is nat crafting worthwhile still, under 91?

You're right, that was wrong of me to say "DFS is better than the defender", I admit that, that's a personal opinion. But it is my opinion. Unless I'm fighting monsters with a relatively weak defense, I'll be using a shield.

So defense doesn't matter to you? What about when you're fighting monsters that are strong enough to deal damage to you, but not bosses? You're going to take a defender and have to bank often? Or take a DFS and last longer? EDIT: Kent, I'm obviously not talking about you personally, not all of us have near maxed out melee stats. Don't think about yourself, think about the majority of RS. The majority of Runescape can't afford a DFS. :lol: When you're fighting bosses, you usually bring a Godsword. (Only exception is Armadyl and Dk.) Yeah, but the majority of RS can make the money if they wanted to. Look at his levels, low 70's, when he gets them up to 75+, still at that level defense is pretty valuable. And look at my words when i say "when you're NOT fighting bosses". Just because they're not bosses, doesn't mean they're not stronger than you. And in those cases (which aren't really that rare), DFS is better than the defender.

Elaborate why. It's for the people who want defense. You're out a shield if you're using an AGS. I'm perfectly fine using a whip as a weapon, it's got good enough strength for me, and with the DFS (which I personally don't own), you get that same whip strength plus a nice defense bonus.

Whip and DFS are better than BGS for training, that I know, but I'm not sure about monster hunting or whatever it's used for. Yet a whip and defender are better than a whip and dfs, so that's a useless connection. That's for higher hits. A whip + defender is when you don't need the extra defense, a whip + DFS is for strength plus the defense bonus. 20 accuracy has a lot more of an impact than 2 strength. I doubt that that will even increase your max in most cases. And training monsters are generally weaker in regard to their offense, so extra defense usually isn't needed. Ok, I misspoke, Whip + Defender is for training with weak monsters. Whip + DFS is better for fighting stronger monsters.

That's just bad luck to you then, I've saw 3 orcs and 2 knights within 5 minutes and wasn't attacked at all. Four worlds hops is really excessive for one level.

Staying there forever doesn't make for more xp per hour. You have to factor in how many times you fail because most of the xp comes from completeing a lap. TO EVERYONE WHO MENTIONS REVS: I've been there since 49 agility, and the revs aren't that bad! It's just a simple world hop if they're inside, if not, just go around the track and keep dodging them. But the Revs aren't that bad, I've never been killed, and only world hopped maybe 5 times in those 11 levels.

I actually meant to say, does more damage for me. I really don't get hit much (even before at lower levels than I am now), and I've made it out of there with only using a couple salmon.

His Saradomin Strike's always done more damage than his dds, just bring regular melee armor and anti poison.

You just kill them like any other enemy. Pray mage and bring an anti-poison to protect from his dds. Bring food, too.

That's usually what I did, since a lot of people were either beggers or macros. I remember you too (you made the 100k snowballs, didn't you?), thanks, CaptainKidd! F2p's always been horrible. The people are either beggers, scammers, or trying to get hooked up. That's why you don't see anyone over level 30 anymore! And this is the best community around! That's why I'm on w99 a lot.

I thought I remembered something about that, but I couldn't be sure. Troacctid knows what he's talking about, so I'd go with heavy rod fishing if you're looking for fast.

I'd actually recommend monks to 99, especially at your level. Fly Fishing is faster though.

Those are some good points (plus, the f2p world is nothing but immature 12 year olds who are looking for girlfriends and boyfriends).

I haven't been on mems for a quite a while. I've been kind of busy, but now that its getting colder out, it's about that time to get it again since I'll be inside a lot. So, in your personal opinion, how's the RS Members community about now?

That's a very good guide, but it can get pretty boring. Just be prepared for that.

Hehehe maxing out will take me yearssssss.... The reason i want to get to 95/95/95/90 as fast as i can is because i then want to get a membership for 2/3months to max out melee, max ranged and get 90prayer. So i really am looking for THE FASTEST way there is in F2P. Not looking to go for any 99's though I'd just start raising your attack a few levels, then defence, then attack, and then defence. I'm not sure the fastest way to do that in f2p though.

That's a little excessive for agility pots, I went from 49-53 without leaving. It depends on how many times you want to leave before 52, once you're in, you're in. Don't forget about Tireless Run scrolls (and don't forget, you can't use your familiars on Rev's, as it's not a multi combat zone). The rest can be used for cakes if you want. Wear your best dragonhide armor (to block the teleblock and freeze spells, the more chances you have, the better), boots of lightness, spotted/spottier cape, and penace gloves (if you have those). I actually used salmon and that worked nicely, so your cakes would do you fine.
