  1. Ok, so just build up some charms, and use them to get a few levels? Does buying for 23ea. include Junk Trading? I don't do junk trading (mainly because I don't have junk, and think it's pointless to buy junk).
  2. viewtopic.php?f=103&t=744156 View that guide to fully understand what I'm talking about. Ok, it's late, and this is usually when I figure some goals out and costs to get to these goals (if any). So, I was reading Kent's summoning guide (because I want 70 summoning for my zammy egg waiting in my bank), and I was reading the "Advanced" way to level up, and it mentioned it's for people going for 99 only. So, should I just level up by the "Casual" way? Or stick with the "Advanced" way? Or even another way that Kent didn't mention? Also, as I understood, I should do some researching on the GE and buy pouches to trade in for shards, instead of the actual shards, correct?

That's not true. You cannot catch 500 lobsters in an hour no matter what your fishing level. And the amount of people at a spot doesn't affect how fast you fish. I've also heard that no matter how many people are there, you'll catch the same amount as if you were the only one there. The spots move around randomly. Technically, there's a greater chance of getting a whirlpool, but that's small enough not to extend out of the standard variation. Yeah, I suppose the more people, the more randoms, but there's still other fishing spots usually nearby, so it's not enough to make an impact really.

  5. I beg to differ. *has sold 65k eucs within a week* Eucalyptus logs are 60 gp less than yews right now. That's pretty significant, and there are plenty of firemakers who want in on that. Regardless of if they sell are not, would you go with Eucs or Teaks?
  6. How reliable is the healing? I just recently bought it, and figured I'd head over to some Fire Giants. I'm just wondering if I should bring some food with me. I'll be picking up the loot, so I'll be banking when I have a full inventory.
  7. [/hide] Your Doing your math wrong, the Blast Furnace cuts your Coal in half. [hide=Mithril Bars to Mithril Bolts]You have 483,772 exp, and you need 184,279 exp to level 69. Thats 2,304 Mithril Bars, smithing and smelting. Coal: 171gp Mithril Ore: 167gp Cost of one bar: 509gp 10x Mithril Bolts (unf): 800gp You'll gain 6,704,640gp If you sell them raw. Otherwise; Feathers: 4gp Mithril Bolts: 86gp If you fletch them into bolts as well, you'll gain 6,750,720gp. Now you need to subtract the Cost of un-noting with the dwarf. Cost of un-noting Coal: 22.5gp Cost of un-noting Mithril: 81gp For un-noting 4608 Coal: 103,680gp For un-nothing 2304 Mithril: 186,624gp Total loss: 290,304gp If you Sell raw, you gain 6,414,336gp. If you fletch then sell, you gain 6,460,416gp NOW, keep in mind, this is for 2304 mithril bars. This will be your PROFIT, the actual cost of starting this project is: 1,172,736gp[/hide] Steps: 1. Buy 2304 mithril ore and 4608 coal at 1,172,736gp. 2. Carry 290,304gp, a hammer, your noted mithril ore, your noted coal, a spot for your mithril bolts (unf). 3. Go to Blast Furnace and smith until you have no life. (don't forget your music) 4. Resell, gain 6.4mil profit. Alternative: I'm not going to do the math, you can do it yourself, but you can make steel platebodies and alch them on the spot. This is much faster since your smithing 5 bars at a time, but, this cuts your smelting speed because you have to un-note ore with a variable of 5. Anyways, if you want to do this, i think u'll cut even, or lose money, i'm not sure. Cutting Teaks. I tried the Tai Bwo Wanna Trio teak method, and it is a real pain. I like cutting in the kharazi jungle because: 1. Nobody is there. 2. You have tons of space to burn your teaks after you cut them, or you can just drop them. doesn't matter. It just isn't worth going through dialogue boxes and carrying around trading sticks for 30gp profit. P.S. People don't know it, but the Blast Furnace is like the same if not faster speed than smelting gold ore with guants because your getting smithing and smelting exp at the same time. People prefer gold w/ guants is probably because they barely have to focus, the Blast Furnace however takes a lot of concentration at the begining, don't get discouraged! Wow, thanks for that, bad911!
  8. Ok, so it looks like Teaks for the wc (thinking about the parcel thing). Mith bolts for smithing, and then pp for thieving.
  9. But aren't teaks faster? And for WC and Smith I'm looking for very fast as I hate those two skills.
  10. Wow, this trading stick thing is confusing me. Maybe because its way late and my brain dont like to function this late. The mith bolt thing sounds a lot betterbthan my knife plan where i lost close to 2 mil! And yes, i can make the money back, i just dont have a lot right now due to buying guthans for some slayer. Ill try out pp and see how it is. Other suggestions or tips or advice welcome, thanks!

There's like a cage up there as well, IIRC, that you'll see right away.
  12. This is a great guide! I need my smithing up to 69 for my quest cape (and then 73 for the varrock diaries), so this will help a lot!
  13. [/hide] WC: If you've started the Legend's quest, you can cut teaks in the Kharazi jungle. Otherwise, just cut teaks on Monkey Madness island. I don't think its worth the trading sticks in Tai Bwo Wanna Trio. Smith: Definitely use the Blast Furnace, make mithril bolts unfinished, they should sell easily. Just buy Coal and Mithril ore, you'll still profit. Its a great way to gain a lot of experience fast because you smith the Mithril Bars into Mithril Bolts while your Mithril/Coal ore is smelting, so your getting both experience points at the same time. Heres a old guide. Theiving: Pyramid Plunder should be the fastest if you buy that sceptre that teleports you right to the Mummy guy. Then just use a castle wars ring and bank there. Buy super anti-poison pots, they'll last you a long time and eat some newbie food so you don't waste money, like trout/salmon/tuna. Otherwise, steal from stalls i guess. I have done Legends Quest, so if I cut teaks in the jungle, should I drop, burn, or bank them? Thanks for the guide! I'll definitely look into that! Ok, so buy the Pharaoh's Sceptre, and then do Pyramid Plunder.
  14. Well I need to know so I can get that amount with me before I start going. And thanks!
  15. Via parcel? you pay a guy with trading sticks to send stuff to your bank. I did not know that, do you know how much it is?
  16. Via parcel?
  17. Ok, so to get the Quest Cape, I need to raise my WC from 67-72, Smith from 65-69, and Thief from 58-63. So I'm trying to find the fastest ways to those levels, seeing as how I hate WC and Smith, and just a fast way for Thieving. I am on a tight budget! WC From what I've heard, teaks on Ape Atoll? Do I just cut and drop? Smith I'm thinking of smithing mith bars into knives and selling them Thief What's fast from 58-63?

Yeah, and it's not even that slow, you can pick the flax one day, spin it the next.
  19. Vulxai replied to Pitac83's topic in Help and Advice
yeah but imagine how long it would take me :ohnoes: i know you would make money but the time...i don't have :( You need time to play the game though, are you losing members soon? And it's not that slow, actually.
  20. I want to say it's Biohazard.
  21. Vulxai replied to Pitac83's topic in Help and Advice
You could pick some flax and spin it? I actually went from about 46-63 from nothing but bowstrings.

Slayer is tedious but not experiments/yaks? You have to be kidding me. It's up to you though, just try both. It is, you have to go to the spot, kill, then go back to the Person, get new task, kill, go back, get a new task. When Experiments are just kill, kill, kill, kill. Monotonous = Boring I guess it's different for some people. Just go with Yaks, then. I agree, at least with slayer you get change. I get too bored in the same area forever. But if you'd rather stay in the same place for a while, why not go with yaks? Not as crowded as experiments and not really a lot of competition seeing as how the respawn time is 5 seconds?
  23. Vulxai replied to Wizz's topic in Help and Advice
I don't want to do slayer because imagine this "Your new task is 101 Ghost". Also my goal is sooo close, but then I had to screw up and die -_- What's wrong with that? It's not a hard task.
  24. Vulxai replied to edard's topic in Help and Advice
I was lucky and got them all pretty cheap way back when, but I don't see too many people wanting them anymore.
