PvP types? (2nd new question - perfect pker stats?)
So for a f2p PvPer, it's best to be a rune pure?

agility training
When I was there, the part at the very end was a huge pain the rear end. I found it very hard to actually climb up it without failing, and it took away a nice little chunk of hp every lap.

agility training
They're random. I was there from 49-60 and didn't really have too hard of a time.

agility training
Just stay there until 49, use an agility pot, and go to the wildy course (need 52, but the pot will boost you to 52 and let you enter), then run that until 70. Actually, there may be a lower level using some kind of pie, IIRC, although I'm not totally sure on the name or the level.

fletching 99
Don't encourage bots. They're illegal on RS, therefore illegal to even talk about here. OT: If you can't do the skill, then don't do it. Simple as that.

PvP types? (2nd new question - perfect pker stats?)
here are just some stuff i remember from old pking name/stats 1 def pure/1 def 40 atk high str range 2h/1 def 70+range 70+ range hybrid/1 def high str range and mage 10 def pure/10 def 40 atk high str 20 def pure/20 def 40 atk high str addy pure/pointless and 30 def 40 atk high str rune pure/40 def 40 atk high str zerker/45 def 60 or 70 atk high str range tank/40 def or 60+ with high range borrows pure/70 def high str 70 atk 1-30 comb I guess 1 def range pures cuz they just get addy arrows 40-50 comb both str and range but they usually fight only their own kind 50-70 comb range 2h pures usually 1 def 70-90 rune pures 70-100 (members) zerker pures 100+ barrows pures Also, minor def pures (mith, black) work. i have both. They can get kills but pures will eithor hit through it anyways and you will have a harder time k0ing them cuz of your lower strength, or you will be asked to remove armor and be called a def nub. If you are looking to get into the PVP scene quick, id say just go for a good ol str pure. Just get like 40 range for dhide, and then just get 40 atk and 60+ str. Not too hard of goals but once your 60str you can hit well enough to make pking worth while kinda. Thanks! So in your experience, is defense not worth training?

Blast Furnace
Yeah, tip.it's smithing calculator. There's an option for smelting AND smithing in the drop down box.

Are my stats good enough for barrows?
I hope that's a typo. You can't safespot with salamanders, if I'm not mistaken. It's probably still a good option, though. Possibly, like I said, it's been a very long time since I've went there, but I don't recall ever meleeing the brothers. Assuming that the brothers' abilities and stats reflect that of their armor sets, Karil would have extremely high mage defence. Coupled with the fact that mage is the least cost effective of the three combat styles. My mage works perfectly fine with him.

Upgrade gear? (for melee slayer tasks)
Would I still profit from most tasks if I wore barrows armor as my main gear? Yes, it's only 330k if you degrading an entire set (helm, plate, legs, and weapon) every 15 hours. I'd hope you can make more than 22k an hour. Most likely you'd only be using the plate and legs though (unless healing with Guthans), but it's still very easily covered. EDIT: It's cheaper if you have an armor stand in your house, as well.

With 50 prayer, you can easily make it through without any prayer potions (but bring 1 just in case). What you do is first go into Dharok's crypt, pray on him and kill him, then move to Karil, pray on him and kill him, then go to Verac, use any remaining prayer if you want to, kill him, then move to Ahrim (switch to range), kill him, go to Guthan, and then Torag. So it's: Dharok (pray and use mage) Karil (pray and use mage) Verac (pray should be gone, use mage) Ahrim (no pray and use ranged) Guthan (no pray and use mage) Torag (no pray and use mage). You shouldn't have a problem with any of the brothers in the tunnel unless it's Dharok or Karil, if it's one of those two, use your prayer potion when fighting and pray on them. Otherwise, just kill them. Usually when I go, I take a whip (to up my kill count), d'hide body and chaps, msb, one prayer potion, rune plate and legs (to use when not using pray), spade (DO NOT FORGET), and the rest food (I think I might have forgotten some items, it's been a very long time since I've gone, other people can probably fill you in better, this is just a cheap and easy set up) And then I wore a farseers helm, monk robes, elemental staff, mystic boots, barrows gloves, god cape, glory, Ring of Life (just in case), and have some arrows equipped (only used on Ahrim). I use the monk robes for the prayer, and switch the the rune plate and legs when I'm not using my prayer. Remember, this was a set-up I used from a guide I found a long time ago consisting of very cheap but effective items. There are better set-ups than this, but it's simple to get started and scout it out a few trips if you want.

A few honest oppinions.....please!
To be honest, I don't find runescape worth nearly $100 for only half a year.

What makes a noob?
You do. OT:A new player. Don't confuse 'noob' with 'newb', they're two completely different terms. 'Newb' is someone new to the game (Newbie), a 'noob' is more of an immature player.

mage is alot more important, as you kill all brothers except ahrim with mage. and i'd get 55 slayer for slayer dart. and you can use broad bolts which is a nice bonus. Yes, but they have a very low mage attack bonus, so it's not as important as it would be if they had some. I think it's a little more important to be able to kill Ahrim at a decent speed than to maybe get the melee brothers killed faster.

Are my stats good enough for barrows?
They look good to me. It'd help if you raised your mage and range to 70+ (range more than mage, I guess), and 55 slayer for slayer dart (or you could use a wind blast/wave if you wanted). You look ok to go now though.

Another busy day, RS takes the backseat again lol. Yep, I don't have any set 99 skill goal yet, I'm going to just attempt to get some skills 80-85 to see if I can do it, then I'll decide from there. Oh, and my private is set on friends all the time, so if you want to be an RS friend, just drop me a PM or post on here or something so I know to add you, I don't bite :D

Simple Quick Stupid Question
Spam? OT: There's no official clan chat, but there's some unofficial ones, "lightning" was the old one, I've also heard "Evil Mumm Ra" and "Forsakenmage".

New question: skeletal wyverns
When you enter the cave, there's two dwarfs there, a boatman and a ferryman I believe. Talk to both of them, the one that doesn't charge you will take you into Keldagrim (I want to say it's the ferryman).

Efficient Mage Training
Ok, I'll probably do that with the random gems I get, and then train with another method to switch it up. Thanks. Still open. It really does depend on your profit/hour. I don't really make money constantly, I do it when I need it, otherwise I'm usually just doing some skilling, making some gp here and there, and relying on MTK, but for training mage, I'm willing to do some moneymaking, so I'd have to see what I can do and the gp/hr rates. I'd could probably go green drag killing, mining coal/iron, slaying, and runecrafting, neither of which I'm sure of the gp/rates. If needed, I could look for better money making techniques.
