Stronghold of Security boots. You get them from getting through the fourth level of the Stronghold of Security (under Barbarian Village). You can choose from either fancy boots, I think they're referred to, which are the rainbow boots, or the fighting boots, which are brown with a horn on the end.

The only thing in f2p, that I know of, that effects sucessfully cooking food is the lumbridge range.

I'm not a wc expert (as wc is my only non-ranked stat) so I wouldn't know. For me at level 57 wc, maples are really slow. You might want to try raising your wc using willows for fast training til about 75, then switch to yews and sell what willows you cut.

Runecrafting nats if p2p, if f2p, probably wc yews if your wc is over 70-75.

Powermining granite used to be the best until they updated it so you get affected by the desert there now, so as far as I know, it's powermining iron.
