Yeah, that new idea is so perfect. I payed for it, because it was so darn good, though I still think OK Computer blows away anything.

I don't remember the corny, musical parts that I hear people complain about, but I certainly remember the trippy cool parts, and so I liked it =)

Wow 90 Smithing in itself is impressive, but 99 is even more so. You obviously have experienced other level 99 goals, so all I can say for you is keep it up and think about how awesome that trimmed Smithing Cape will look. Good luck! -
98/99 Woodcutting -- 53/85 Slayer--71/99 Magic

Haha thanks to both of you, though Fletching tends not to be too boring, with you know all that buying and selling and clicking. I mean, that is, it's not boring for us poor people who can't buy all the supplies at once :P -
http://rateyourmusic.com/~instazome My name is Jordan. I watch movies and listen to music while I play. Now I got Netflix, so I watch shows as well (Arrested Development, Mystery Science Theater 3k, Strangers with Candy). I make goals so I feel productive. I watch movies so I forget I am playing Runescape. Stay focused, you can get it done! -
Dude, on the day new Coheed comes out, you decide to go for 99 Fletch? I think we're doing the same plan: rocking out to Coheed while clicking those darn Yew Longbows. I'll be at World 132, and my cd hasn't arrived yet (I presaled). ... I really hope your name is from Coheed and Cambria, so I don't look like a fool =) Either way, good luck!

That's a tough goal, and you're so darn close. You think you'll be ready this Sunday? I'll try to make it to the party, but I may not be able to be on. Nonetheless good luck with the goal and the party!

For f2p leveling crafting, I recommend Silver Tiaras. Since I didn't want to lose money, I mined silver at Scorp Pit, or whatever it's called nowadays north of Al Kharid, and then ran south with the mold in my inventory, then made into tiaras right there and banked right next door. Not sure if it's the most efficient, but it worked for me up until lvl 64, which isn't 70, but ya just a suggestion. Grats on all the other levels; it's hard being free player. Good luck on the rest!

Well it could motivate you, get you excited...plus, it's the person's choice if they wanna be nice. Hehe, i like little giveaways now and then, it's not like i live off them. They're nice. Sure it can be encouragement, but if the game itself isn't encouragement then what's the point of playing? Anyways, it's up to the giver, but that only encourages the receiver to beg more often and to more people, like myself. ;), but not ALL give a ways are bad.
-
No need for free stuff. The point of RuneScape is to play the game; what's the point if it's just handed to you?
-
I think I stopped being labeled a noob when I stopped feeling so proud of myself to have to call others noobs.
-
I never said I defended them. I am not educated on the matter of this clan, but your point was terrible (or just terribly written). And, yes, you did generalize.
-
I like how Bam switches from "tell me something nice about a clan LEADER" to generalizing the whole clan as that leader.

Tip.It Times Presents: Inflation and the Runescape Economy
Ctth replied to Kiara_Kat's topic in General Discussion
Sure, over time inflation will occur in any free market economy (or pretty much any economy, except maybe that oh so theoretical gift economy), and we shouldn't consider this bad. However, things can and have happened in RuneScape that offset this natural inflation and just generally screw up the whole supply vs. demand beauty of rare items. For example, the duping night. Rares, especially R2HS and Party Hats, were duplicated, decreasing their value. I mean, r2hs are amazingly difficult to obtain if you think about it. You need such high-level smithing, you need (at least for free players and back then) to wander into the Deep Wilderness to get the Rune Ores, etc. Yeah, very difficult and rare. Thus, Rune items that can't be dropped by enemies should be ridiculously expensive. 50k (last time I was on, which was about a year ago, so I dont know if it's gone even lower)? That's just not correct. Sure, back then money was worth more, but Rune 2-Handers as far as I remember were 1mil. Too bad people can't just enjoy the game. Still, duplicating wasn't the only bump in the natural road. In the real world, it's not as easy to rise from being poor. You can't just stop being homeless by killing random monsters and taking their money (well, I guess you kind of can if it's a person). That's where it all kind of evens out. Also, I'd like to add that I love the rarity and how expensive p-hats, santa hat, etc. are. It's how they should be. It's something to strive for. Something that can't be easily replenished. It's a great market and it's what the rich people have. Why do people complain? Because they think they can't get any. Yeah, right. Work a little harder and you can ;). I haven't played yet since the house building update. But I think that's a great alternative to rare items for members, but what about the freeplayers? Let's just hope inflation continues at a natural rate and we don't have to worry about duplicating any time soon. Some people just think "Yeah! I can finally get a Santa Hat for free thanks to duping!" They need to realize that the economy is in danger. Fin
