He is suggesting that the bonuses actually affect your in-game activites. Yeah, and, the bonus only last for what, a minute? It would be nice for harder to train skills such as crafting, smithing, prayer, etc, since in ones like smithing and crafting (perhaps RC) the +1 bonus doesnt do anything. Now, add a chance to get extra smithed items, extra dragon hide pieces, extra runes, and even a hefty prayer bonus for the PRAYER cape, I think skillcapes would do a lot more for the players.

I think it would work only on non-boss monsters and no pvp, or wildy. Its annoying to be in say waterfiends, loose connection, your prayer goes down and you die, pretty easy to be killed even if your not paying attention, let alone loosing connection just about when your going to sip prayer or eat or something. Unfortunately, the closest we would ever get to this, is instant log out. They did it with duels, so, why not monsters.

Its rather easy to make also. Log is 44 gp, bow is 144. Your more than tripling the items value. It may take some time, yes, but, in a few days you can turn 500k into 1.5M. Believe it or not, junk trading is actually making use of secondary skills :?

Iv never really used it that much except when purchasing a zamorak spear, but, I sold it back to some person for the exact same cash / junk, but was wondering, how high will people take junk? Since you can basically triple the value almost of a maple log by fletching, would it work to make 20M worth of junk and get a BGS say for only 8M cash? Im not taking into account the work involved, but, would that be a feasible task of trading 20M in junk to someone? Would they go for it?

I think the way people are doing it now is the only method there is. Having the implemented "renting" system would allow RWT. Buyer puts up charge of 50k per hour for BGS. Seller agrees, 20 hours of lending. Within 20 hours the buyer has his BGS and 1M. And assuming there is no cap, because Iv seen people do 400k per hour with a SGS, it would allow so much RWT its not even funny. Junk trading allows this fine, it may be risky, but its not RWT. One player must do work to at least get the junk first, so, its technically a 'fair' trade.

Its because it was dropping like a rock and its become a junk traded item now, its going back up but people are too stupid to see that. BGS is having the same thing too, people are junking to get 3M over the med price.

Last I checked barrows and DFS wernt lendable...Why are they on that chart if its suppose to prove LENDABLE items are going up?

(from Makoto's link) It is within the rules to charge for lending in-game, but thye don't wanna see it wasting space on the forums. If you're offering gp, you should know that you might lose it. I find moralities to be a personal opinion, and whether or not it's moral is decided by the lender/rentee. It's all just a business. I think this basically solves the issue of legal or not. We are allowed to pay for items that we borrow. I look at is as more of a tip, since its such a small amount of such expensive items. I would assume that since we can offer money for it, we can also charge money for it, just not on the forums.

Jagex doesnt care about junk trading. I dont remember where but they said they dont want to limit how players trade. Its not scamming, and its not bug abuse.

Its not all a scam. Some people are legitimate. I was asked to lend my whip for an hour, the man was generous and paid 25k. 10 before, 15 after. I didnt charge him, he simply PMd asking if I could borrow and offered up 25k. I borrowed another Tifers SS the other day for 3 hours, I offered to pay, but, he declined. I dont look at is as renting. I look at it as, the person is kind enough to let you have his item for a set amount of time, and paying him is just incentive for him to accept. I DO NOT agree with those who charge hourly rates on items. I think the situation is bigger than you think. Im not sure what a lvl 132 with a bgs would do with 30k =/

One thing I would like to add to this, is a timer if your borrowing. I got a item, but, I dont know how long I have on it, its kinda annoying, I dont want to start another run, but want to get the most out of it. As for the transparency? I dont think its necessary.

There are items such as lantern , torch, etc... :wall: Thats what I was going to say. At night, perhaps every NPC would have a option when you talk to them "What are you doing out here without a torch? Ill sell you one..." Would be a nice little addon, just another little thing to make the game more appealing.
