  1. For anyone who's interested you can take a look at the Invision Support Forums to see what the default skin is like: http://forums.invisionpower.com/
  2. The new forum software is going to be fantastic. Just thinking of all the new features and goodies makes me excited. Plus this will now put Tip.it ahead of the other fansites and will introduce a lot of new features for the Tip.it Community.
  3. Tip.it Mop?  1
  4. I usually find the you get a random after gaining a large amount of experience. So if your really looking to get a random try fletching for a few hours or anything that will get you upwards of 80k xp/hour. Then when you stop for a bit a random will most likely pop up.
  5. I believe if you open your bank interface and then close it without entering your PIN it will show "Cancelled" in the chatbox.
  6. 9/10 It's an awesome emoticon.
  7. My router is downstairs, probably around 10-12 meters away from where I'm sitting. When it's connected properly I usually have a 4-5 bars filled and the connection is really fast.
  8. Recently this past month I have been getting a problem that whenever I turn on my laptop it wont connect to my router. Instead this always happens: The router is a D-Link DIR-615. When I first got the router and laptop they always connected. I've tried choosing the repair option on my laptop but it doesn't fix it. The only way I can get it to work is by unpluging power from the wireless router and then pluging it back in. Then my laptop reconnects and I can get internet. Anyone know what's causing this?
  9. *Pokes* Make a new avatar. :P 7/10
  10. I just came here to snag the 16000th post. :D
  11. Guys replying with spam posts don't help a topic. If you don't have anything positive to contribute just leave the topic be.
  12. Was this update done last year? If not then they are lieing out of their [wagon]. It's like saying "I go to school from Monday-Friday". Do you really go to school every weekday? Of course not but most of the time you do during a school year. Jagex updates almost every week; sure they miss a few here and there but for the most part they stand true to weekly updates. As for whether or not F2P can be considered a "demo" you can look at it from both sides. Technically F2P could be considered a demo as much as P2P could be considered an expansion pack. Runescape started off as a free game, a game a lot smaller than it is today. Back then when membership didn't exist would Runescape have been considered a demo? No, because it was a full game back then that could exist by itself, much like F2P is today. If P2P didn't exist F2P would be considered a full game. Another thing to think about is how many demos do you know actively get updates? While F2P only gets a few updates a year, that's a lot more than any demo I've ever heard of. And aren't demos supposed to attract gamers to buy the full version? Then why would Jagex be removing all member related things on F2P worlds. To me that looks like the opposite of trying to attract people. I think if Runescape had been released today, never been played before with F2P and P2P then we could consider F2P to be a demo. But since F2P has existed before P2P, and by itself would be considered a full game, we can only conclude that F2P is not a demo. Demos aren't complete games with updates and player support. Probably the most interesting part of the article was that they can export the game to all three consoles and are looking into the new Google OS. Nothing really much on Mechscape though, bases sound cool, but overall it seems like they're still trying to keep everything hush hush for now.
  13. Haha, finally get to read the whole Skippy list! Probably one of the best articles I've read in a while; several of them had me laughing. "Beating the Addiction" was also a nice read. At times I would consider myself addicted but then I look at my life and see great grades, awesome friends, and nothing a regret so I keep playing. Besides it's really not that hard to IM your friends while you play Runescape. :

  17. Went to the TET Barrows event which was a lot of fun. I stayed afterwards and continued for 13 runs but got nothing. :( I'll probably head back there later tonight to see if I can get a piece of barrows armour. Today I also completed a small goal I had set for myself; 90 attack! :) 2 minutes later I also got 86 hitpoints and 114 combat. Took a picture of my whole bank as of today: [hide=][/hide] It's worth over 65M now. :P
