Post Your Fire Cape Success Or FAILS.
Actually your topic can be found here. :) It would be better just to use your original topic as you have a guide and tips in there as well. I'll lock this topic and you can continue your discussion over there. ;)

New Olympic Medals for 2010 Vancouver games
I really like the 2010 medals, they capture the essence of Canada nicely and are a lot more unique and creative than other Olympic Medals. The whole idea of splitting a larger piece of First Nation's artwork so that each medal is unique from all the others is really what makes them so special. :) This article gives a little more insight to their design and has some more images so you can really get a close up look at them. That kind of explains why they aren't flat. Besides the design has a smooth kind of flow to it so it's not some bashed up piece of metal. You almost have to live near Vancouver to realize how the medals do reflect the 2010 games and the elements of where the games are taking place. As for the 2012 logo, all I can say is that it wouldn't look too bad if it was a different colour rather than the purple-pink. Also putting the logo all on one line would make it easier to actually read.

Welcome to our new mod Darkrick!
Welcome back and congratulations. :)

Avatar?
They make them using Tip.it's Dynamic Signature maker. ;) You can use premade backgrounds/pictures or you can upload you own. If you upload you own images you have to wait for it to be approved by an Admin which should take less than 24 hours.

Withdraw from Bank to Familiar With Ease
Suggestion A would make the bank menu too cluttered but Suggestion B could work. :) One thought I had would be when you are banking make it so you can see your inventory and your familiar's inventory in separate tabs. Right now you can only see your inventory but they could make it so that depending on which tab you have opened the items will be withdrawn to that tab. Similarly if you had your familiar's inventory tab open you could bank the items it is holding. Any of the suggestions could really make activities such as prayer and runecrafting a lot more enjoyable.

Firemaking Idea
Moving this to Bugs & Suggestions. While I agree firemaking needs something to make it more worthwhile training I'm not sure if tying it in with combat is the best solution. Just having it regenerate health while in combat seems kind of far fetched but the idea of making a campfire to sit around could possibly work. My only concern with the second option is that it would be hard to balance to make it useful for players but not overpowering in a way that would outdate using food or other methods of healing.

Teaks vs Ivy
I meant the gp lost per firemaking exp. Ah my bad, burning teaks is around 1.3gp/xp. (But since you would just drop the logs anyways it's basically free experience) :) One thing I also forgot to mention is that you can now get special teak logs from cutting teak trees. So it might be worthwhile for you to cut teaks rather than Ivy.

Teaks vs Ivy
I believe Teaks and Ivy are very close in woodcutting experience per hour (around 75k at higher levels). However Teaks will also give you around 20-23k firemaking experience per hour when you use the Inferno Adze. That being said many people prefer Ivy because it requires a lot less attention as you don't have to drop any logs whereas with Teaks you have to every few minutes. It's all personal preference really. I would rather pay little attention while woodcutting Ivy and then burn maples for my firemaking experience separately. I didn't include any gp/xp rates because banking Teaks is a complete waste of time and experience. Hope this helps. :)

Fishing.
Monkfish are around 35k experience an hour. (approx 292 caught monkfish/hour) The current market price for raw monkfish is 598gp/ea so in total you would be making 174,616gp/hour. If you want decent cash and experience I would just go with monkfish all the way to level 99. ;)

Your Very 1st Post
From this thread. I was a Runescape Bugs & Suggestions lurker back then. Thank God for Firefox spell check; my punctuation and spelling were just horrible when I first joined.

If you had 200 BILLION Coins...
I'd love to see people's expressions when they hear the banker's announcing a 1Billion coin drop party. Wasting some cash player killing would also be fun.

Adze vs. D Axe
The Inferno Adze has the exact same speed as a Dragon Hatchet.

what are you doing right now?
Moved to Questionnaires. I'm currently browsing Tip.it, woodcutting ivy, and doing homework.

"Afk" Training
*edits* ^Pretty much what Master_Smither said. Ivy doesn't move. When it gets cut down there is a 34-40 second respawn time until it reappears in the same place it was originally. An inferno Adze will also not work on Ivy because Ivy gives no logs for the Adze to burn. Basically it will operate the same as a dragon hatchet giving no firemaking experience. That isn't true, you always get the same experience. More people cutting it down just make it fall faster I believe. Not 100% sure though. Besides Ivy other skills you could train could include fishing monks or armoured zombies. Fletching and cooking require fairly low attention as well.

Some Newish Levels
First official blog post update thingy! Between the forum conversion and now I've gotten quite a few new levels: [spoiler=Pictures!] I've been able to go from 82-92 since the new woodcutting update. Ivy is really awesome. :D Unfortunately most the seeds I get from the nests have been horrible. The only good seed I've gotten was a Magic Tree one which made my day. Wait, talk about funny timing, I just got another Magic Tree seed! Also been busy with school lately so I haven't had a chance to do anything besides low attention tasks, but as soon as I get some spare time I'm going to get my construction from 70-80. Btw Happy Thanksgiving to all you Canadians! I've already had Turkey for the last two days and I'm having some more tomorrow. :)

The new forums
You can manage your watched topics here. As for bookmarks from the old forums, I believe they were lost after the conversion. You can however watch new topics by clicking the "Watch this topic" button at the top of every thread. Also there is a option in your control panel to watch every topic you post in if you wish to use it.

The items all RuneScapers should have.
Moving this to Questionnaires as it is more suitable there. ;) I don't think i could live without my amulets of glories. I think i use them more than any other teleportation method and they are just so handy.

Allotments question
Clipboard problems whoops :wall: Here's the link: http://forum.tip.it/topic/242787-mother-gaia-an-in-depth-manual-to-farming/ If you do 2 herb runs a day you should profit while planting trees I believe.

Allotments question
First I'd like to direct you to this guide. It's taught me almost everything about farming runs as well as tips and tricks for fast and inexpensive experience. (It's a bit of a long read but trust me it's worth it) I usually do the following patches: Willow Trees Pineapple Plants Kwuarms Marigolds Poison Ivy Calquat Harvesting Cactus Spines (Just plant once and stop by during herb runs to pick them for an extra 9k gp) As for allotments they really aren't god experience for at your level. It's much more efficient to just plant trees. ;)
