Not too fast at the moment. (890kb/s download and 60kb/s upload) My upload speed is always horrible but I can get really high download speeds at certain times of the day. My best results: Usually I'm between 10-15mb/s on most days.

You could always try appealing your ban, maybe it was just a detection problem on their end. Anyways please use this sticky to vent about being unfairly banned. -Locked

My lowest is 45 on a couple of the USA worlds. My home world (Canada 114) has 52 and world 99 has 64. Any of the North American servers have a ping of less than 100 with most of them sitting between 50-70. The Australia and India worlds are the worst with a ping between 200-400; with world 170 having 355 right now. The feature is really a nice addition because now I can easily tell which worlds to stay away from. :

It has to either be the new Dwarf Quest or something that will help the Runescape economy. Or it could even be both in the same update. I thought the dwarf quest wouldn't be out until halfway through September so I'm expecting something else rather than a quest.

I love that one too! Even helped with the 30 man synchronization at the end Gandorf, which one are you? What are you wearing? And did the people actually dance together? I presumed that each person had been individually "bluescreened' against the POH grass and edited in And yeah, i voted for the linedancing vid I'm the one diagonal from the bottom right corner in the quest cape. Everyone really did all dance together. No blue screens or any edits. Basically we just spammed the jig emote until everyone was synchronized. Jinsr was very organized about everything which made it a lot quicker than it could have been.

Sorry it's taken me awhile to get a new shot, I've been busy with a few other things. These ones turned out a lot better so you can pick between either one if you think they'll work:

Moved to Bugs & Suggestions. It's one of the problems due to the new Runetek 5 game engine. I believe Jagex are going to release fixes with the content update next week.

Hmm the order I'd put them in are: 1. Linedancing by Jinsr44 2. Video Ideas by Excl 3. Gnarlie and the Gaming Factory by KKcomics 4. Mithril Sword Fight by Arrow Gun 99 5. My RuneScape Machinima Competition Entry by Mommakitty2 6. A Song by bumbum007 I thought they were all really great videos and anyone that wins would be deserving of it. A few of my thoughts on each video: bumbum007's was kind of funny but out of all of them was my least favourite. It didn't blow me away like a few of the other did. The television one by Mommakitty2 had a few good moments and I got a lot of the references which made it enjoyable. However I found less professional than the other and it didn't really make me laugh at all. The Mithril Sword was only good because of the special powers that each character had when they used the magic spells. I found that quite enjoyable to watch. One little thing that annoyed me was halfway through the Firemaking cape changed to some other cape which was odd. The only reason why KKcomics is so high on my list was because of the Jagex Oompa Loompas. I couldn't stop laughing at the "Ban You" part. :lol: Now for the two most controversial videos. Jinsr's and Excl's. They were both amazing videos and either one deserves to win. I laughed several times at Excl's video and found it both professional and entertaining. However I'm a little biased which is why I chose Jinsr's Linedancing video instead. The reason is because I can see how much time and effort he put into the video. When a group of us including myself went to his house to film the finale it took us a good 30 minutes to complete a 5 second clip. Now imagine doing that for every one of his clips in the video. He organized everyone in a certain way to make each scene perfect. Plus I'm also a fan of his videos and really liked the music in Siamsa. The video is a lot better than the competition one and should really be viewed by anyone who liked his entry. ;) The one thing that annoys me about the competition is that not everyone watched each finalist video. Some people are voting based on reputation which really isn't fair as it should be done based on their favourite video. It would almost be a lot better if people didn't know who made each video and had to base their vote on the quality not the user. That being said I think it's quite obvious Excl is going to win (unless the polls take a huge turn) so congratulations to him as I really enjoyed his video and think he deserves it as much as everyone else does.

I decided to play some trouble brewing now that the rewards cost 10% of what they used to. Got all the costumes and this flag: Spent a good 6-8 hours but it was a lot of fun. :D

I personally really like the hide/show feature. It's great for people who just want to check the rewards, items to bring, or tips & tricks when doing a quest. It also makes the page a lot cleaner to view when you first open it.

Thanks for help Laura! Got around to reseting my router last night and ever since it has seemed to be working great. :D

Why not just create a topic or possibly a sticky for everyone to ask for real life advice. There's already one for relationship advice so perhaps one for everything else could be added. I think a forum may be a little too much as from what I can see there aren't really a lot of help topics cluttering up the Off Topic forum.

Andrew's replies were nice because he could give a definite yes or no answer for many of the questions. Some of the highlights from the Q&A and Live Q&A: Keyboard control in the future? That sounds like an awesome addition. Wonder how it would work though. This will be a great addition for members who need/want to go F2P for a while. Also a great addition but I'm thinking it wont be implemented until sometime in 2010. Will be great for high end computers with quad processors especially. This has to be the best part out of all the Question and Answers. Using less CPU will be awesome! More people will be able to run HD and I might be able to play it on my laptop without it overheating. :)

Moved to Tech and Computers as this is more a question that needs technical help. I'm pretty sure PS3s can connect to wifi so all you need is a wireless network at your house and you should be able to connect instantly.

I never realized but the water casts reflections now too! That is just too cool.

I can't believe RuneTek 5 is out already! :shock: Since they just recently released the Dev Blog for it I thought it would take a few months before they would release it to us. So many updates today I don't know where to begin. The magic updates are awesome as are all the new interface changes. The minimap especially looks awesome. I don't quite like or dislike the new custom curser option. I've tested it out but I find it more of a nuisance than helpful. And SD in full/liquid screen is awesome! :D Like ross_the_knight I can't play in HD too much otherwise my laptop starts to overheat but this will at least allow me to play in a bigger screen at times. All the other graphical enhancements for SD are also beautiful and it's nice of Jagex to make them all optional for the people who don't want the changes. This was from the patch notes but I'm not sure about this. Can you still have multiples of the same skillcape in your bank? As for the shop update, I'm not really sure what to think of this. Hopefully Jagex will fix the amounts you can buy because from what I've heard they are really low right now. Overall they were all awesome updates. The bugs are to be expected because they rewrote so many lines of code so I'm not really to bothered by them.
