Which is better magic xp and/or money? I'm thinking teletabs but I'm not 100% sure.

I've wanted to unlock this spell for some time now and since I want 80 magic I thought it would be a nice way to get both done at the same time. Does anyone know how much it will cost to unlock the spell and how much magic xp I will gain in the process?

The thing is that I always check the GE graphs before buying or selling something and many times the graphs show a huge price [bleep]e or drop due from being merchanted. I can stand waiting a while if the item is more expensive and in demand but I hate having to find another way to get an item instantly cause a group of GE price manipulators currently own all of that item.

My personal favourite is chopping and burning teaks at Ape Atoll. Although many people prefer to drop, why throw away all the precious burning xp that will only take a minute or two of your time? Not sure about xp rates but I'm guessing that chopping and burning would be near the top beaten by chopping and dropping which is the fastest xp in the game.

It sounds like a great idea that could really ad a lot to the game for players to choose from. The only thing is your going to get a lot of whiners about it not being a normal, skill, quest, or minigame update. I can't wait to see the possibilities!

This is why I just think that if Jagex made Merchanting clans against the rules we'd see a lot better trades within the GE. Even though people would find ways to brake the rule at least if you were able to report hearing people talk about it in and out of chats we could get somewhere by eliminating the large clans so that only really small and secretive ones could work which would reduce their profits do to less people. The GE isn't a failure, people just make it worse than it should be.

Ok I made I huge mistake (my bad with the calculations) I thought something was off with that profit but it didn't click then, so here's the fixed costs/prices: Mithril ore - 232gp (med) Coal x2 - 2x178 = 356 (med) Total: 588gp Unoting costs: Mithril-81 Coal 22.5 x2= 45 Total: 126 Total cost to make each bar: 714gp Mithril Bolts (unf) per bar = 10 10 x 71 = 710gp (they sell for med) 710-714= -4gp loss a bar At the moment they do lose you 4gp a bar which really isn't that much. A few weeks ago you would profit around 50gp/bar so it really all depends on the current market prices. Once mithril bolts (unf) rise again and mithril ore stabilizes you should be able to make some profit. Of course if you fletch them now you actually profit so take that into consideration. ;) 71gp=unf 6gp/feather 79gp mithril bolts 2gp profit/bolt 20gp profit/bar

Well when I was smithing them a lot of the times there was a person at the blast furnace buying the mith bolts to fletch so I assume they sell ok. You might want to test it with a couple hundred bolts first just to make sure though.

I'm unlike Joe in many ways as well. 1. I love quests for their story and have a questcape. 2. I don't really want a 99 skill because I like to switch between training a variety of skills and cannot stay focused on one for more than a few days. 3. I value Attack over strength. 4. I rarely use the rants forum. 5. I always read the frontpage before checking out an update. I also often read the KB for extra information too. 6. I prefer skills over combat. And probably several other small differences. :

Another quick question, about how many tokens should I get? I was thinking about 1300, enough for 1 hour including going in and out.

Just thought I would throw in the factor of it dieing. Unless you keep a watch on your herbs there is always the chance it might not grow meaning with snapdragons you lose a lot of cash compared to your other options if it dies. I personally use toadflax but either toadflax or Kwuarm may be a better option as you hardly lose anything if it dies.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've decided on using Mithril Armour and it seems to be pretty fast to me. Hopefully I can get the defender fairly quickly. :)

So I've finally decided that I should get one but need a few questions answered before I start. 1. What is the best minigame to play to get the tokens required to get into the Cyclops room? 2. If I kill Animated Armour for the tokens which armour would be most worthwhile to kill at my level for maximum speed and efficiency?

The first article was great and really pinpointed some good ideas. The second one had good scientific results but some were confusing even for me to understand, overall a good study article anyways.
