  1. A little update on my Tic-Tac-Toe program. My programming partner suggested that we make it Spongebob themed. So now Spongebob is the "O" character and Patrick is the "X" character. Winning conditions are finished and we added the Mr. Crabs robot theme as the background music. "The Best Day Ever" plays if 3 Spongebobs are in a row and the "Wumbo" scene plays if 3 Patricks are in a row. The "Wah, wah, wahhh" clip plays if there's a click outside the board or in an occupied space. It may sound a bit childish, but it's quite humorous. I've scrapped the AI because my teacher added another requirement. When the winning conditions are met, the winning combination's symbols on the board need to spin. I have no idea how to approach this. Any suggestions?

Well, my luck was awful. Drummer canceled because the Black Keys are back in studio. Gov't Mule's $26 dollar tickets turned into $40+ when they charge a $12 ticket fee and a $2.50 venue fee. Give me a freaking break. Pass. I went to the local Winter Bluesfest this past Saturday. That was amazing!
  3. Actually, I went a few tasks without getting a clue scroll at all. Either I'm having extremely bad luck, or the opposite is true about you!
  4. I'd have to agree as well. To fight Nomad, you have to spend the money to get potions and food for each trip. What's another 1k and 75 arrows, really? In the long run, nothing.
  5. TCV will be playing on SNL on Feb. 6th and on Austin City Limits Feb. 13th for those who want to watch.
  6. Considering Runescape is like my dirty little secret, I don't think I'll be joining.
  7. Finished my task before the level so got it at penguins. Woot!
  8. It'd probably end of failing like the last one did.
  9. 1 to gooooooooo. 20k to 90 slayer.
  10. 1 more to go! 30k to 90 slayer as well.
  11. No problem. Glad to see you around. About 50k to 90 Slayer and 70k to 98 Attack.
  12. Like I said in another topic, I'm working on a Tic-Tac-Toe program for school. As of now, the basic game is complete (board, X/O characters, turn designation), but I still need to code the part to check for win/loss/tie as well as the AI. (The AI is optional, but I still really want to do it.) Still working the rust off from my 1 year programming break. I fell back in love with booleans today as they were extremely useful in ridding my game of errors.
  13. I heard about this as well, but seeing that I don't have any of the armor pieces, I cannot prove it.
  14. About an hour ago I ate an entire giant Jersey Mike's philly. Volleyball practice in one hour. Oh dear.
  15. This has been discussed before in the past, and one of the big negative parts to compiling such information is how incredibly difficult it will be to accumulate this data for so many creatures. Also, some weaknesses are so small that it's debatable that the particular weakness even exists. I'd prefer if the big weaknesses just be put in the notes section like they are now. Just my thoughts. There's already a topic about this in Website Discussion.

  17. Yes, it's small, but it is a new coin low. I had a low of 401, but lost the picture proof. #-o
  18. I didn't choose java, actually. I wanted to take the AP Computer Science class at my high school and it was taught with java so.. I didn't exactly have a say in that. But I ended up liking it. Exactly the same here.
  19. I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy! :P Glad to see this come to be. I'll be needing it this semester.
  20. AI is such a cool topic. I considered buying a textbook about it but honestly don't have the money at the moment, nor the time to learn. My teacher was rather vague on how to do it. He was something like, "Just try it". Most likely because it isn't one of the main requirements of the program, but it's the part that I've been the most anxious about trying. I'll probably just make a simple "next best choice" type of thing. At least, I hear it's fairly simple. Of course, it'll all be guess and check like usual, but fun.
  21. I've taken about 2 1/2 years of Java and have more experience programming with it than with anything else. Actually, I'm just finishing up a tic-tac-toe game for my Game Programming class. It's looking pretty good so far. I'm gonna try my first attempt at programming AI in the coming week.
  22. GOP

Public Health Care as in totally Government run or just more restrictions on Private Health care and a Public Option for competition? If you mean totally government run, then I must wholeheartedly disagree. Same deal with a public option, but not to as great of an extent. Rasmussen And you can't blame the GOP for trying to stall the healthcare bill. It's something that they don't want and something that the Dems are trying to move quickly on. If something is to happen, pass or fail, I'd like to see Obama come through with his promise to televise the debates. No closed door meetings on this thing. And read the bill too, dammit. Personally, I'd like to see GOP members stand on the floor of Congress and read the whole freaking thing. If it's going to pass, we might as well know what we're getting ourselves into. On a side note, could you step back and take a breath before blaming everything on the GOP/Fox? Instead of being a die-hard Liberal, look at the situation as a whole. I admit that I'm a conservative, but if a liberal had a good idea, I'd vote for them. I hate people who dismiss a candidate or party just because they run opposite of your norm.
  23. 100% on this quiz. The general public don't have a clue about a lot of things. My favorite is watching "Jay Walking" on the Tonight Show/Jay Leno Show. He'd show different pictures of well known politics ( ie. Joe Biden) and many of the people wouldn't have any idea. I was embarrassed for them. Why do we give these people voting rights?
  24. Blasphemy! Try Guardians if you haven't already. Keep slaying!
