My Bengals are 3-2. Seriously, someone pinch me please. I'm gaining confidence in the Andy Dalton/ AJ Green combo. Looks like a solid pair in the making. That and the defense made a couple great goalline stands to force field goals. I was impressed.

So my grilfriend and I are fooling around when all of a sudden she stops and says, "You know, you could do better than me." I sputtered out something like, "But I don't want anything better...because I don't think there is." Good save? It really caught me off guard.

Well the whole, "don't post just to post" thing really lasted long... I'm listening to the new Chickenfoot album. Mastodon - Crack the Skye I love the prog turn that they took on this album. Having already listened to their album coming out next week, this was the step in the right direction that eventually produced the masterpiece that is The Hunter. Bought tickets to see Between the Buried and Me on November 12th. Not a big metal guy, but I'm going with a friend so it should be fun.

I think Matt's voice definitely comes into its own on that album. The soothing, deep tone of Cardinal Song and the urgency and uncertainty of Slipping Husband really kick off the album well. The rest of the album follows suit. [/fanboying]

By far my favorite album. While I respect the increased complexity of his more recent albums, I always go back to this one. Anyways, I'm working my way through The Decemberists' discography. I've never really listened to them seriously before. I really liked The King is Dead. Now I'm on the Five Songs EP. Not much to say on them as a whole yet, but that'll come after a few listens.

I like this idea. I'm currently listening to, in my opinion, one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time. It turned 20 today. I guess I never really realized that my birth year was such an amazing turning-point year for music. Nirvana - Nevermind

Couldn't send emails from my phone this evening. That's about all the trouble that I've had.

I thought the Big East changes were happening in 2 years because they had to give a 24 month notice? I could easily have misheard, Xavier doesn't have football so I really don't keep up on it. And my Bengals lost a heatbreaker Sunday. Oh well, Dalton has been looking good.

I've never heard of this until today. There were a few cases of this last year, but it really wasn't a big deal and the two people involved worked out whatever awkwardness or lack thereof privately. My ex was on the same floor as me last year and that didn't cause any problems either. I hang out with a group of 6 girls every day and normally I'm the only guy. I suspect if I ever slept with one of them that there might be some awkwardness for the others, but it's never happened so *shrugs*
