  1. So don't train it. I didn't say anything in regards to my training it or not, which since you bring it up, I'm not. I asked a question seeing if anyone else felt the same as me.
  2. Does this skill look absolutely useless to anyone else yet? I mean the highest level reward is around 70, and it is useless. There is no reason to train it, other than maybe it being a "fun skill", but all in all it doesn't look fun.
  3. Yay just got back from a friend's house where we played Wii sports, because the Zelda shipment didn't come in :( The system is so awesome, every motion you make with the controller is followed perfectly. Golf in Wii Sports is great, I loved it, its so realistic. Now my buddy's and I aren't out of shape (we all run track) and after a few games of tennis we were actually getting kind of tired.
  4. Actually, this is just stuff taken from the uncompressed version that jagex probably uses. If runescape looked like those pictures people with dialup couldnt play, and also it would lag a hell of a lot more. its still not right that they use this uncompressed version for advertising...bad jagex! :shame:
  5. We just had one a while back, though it wasn't intentional  It was homecoming and we had been teepeeing houses from dark til around 12 o'clock. We all decided to go back to my friend's house for something to eat. There were 4 girls and 5 guys. Then at one we decided that we should go and get breakfast food, and cook. We all loaded up into my SUV and headed to Wal-Mart. I think we were a funny site running in all hyper at one in the morning. We got back and ate our "breakfast" then we all started to play halo. Then, some freshmen rolled up in their car and began to roll the house while we were inside... :shame: We ran outside and caught one of them, then proceeded to saran wrap her to tree. We took lots of pictures and posted them in school \ After that we all passed out in the living room lol. Some one else share their story darnit!
  6. good old scapeboard, I remember whenever I joined, it was right around when the smiley face sigs were really catching on and everyone had one. Someone fill me in on approximately when that was lol. I have been reduced to a lurker nowadays though...the forum has grown too large for my liking. :-k

  8. I really don't know how to classify it, but just light music. Examples being, Jack Johnson, Pink Floyd, Euro pop sorta music, The Who, and others that I can't really think of at the moment. I listen to a little hard rock every now and then like Killswitch Engage, Korn, Manson, and Coheed & Cambria.
  9. about a 4.1ish because of HN classes, also number one in my class of around 70. :-w
  10. I think I'll try that if I can't find stock for free, because I really don't think the quality is going to be that great coming off those sites.
  11. I am currently doing a project for a class at school. My project is on the importance of the wetlands of Louisiana. My teacher is very hard to impress, and I have decided that I am going to do a short film/speech on the wetlands. Here is my problem, I can't find any free stock footage of the wetlands that I can use. I don't really want to resort to pictures and powerpoint, because that has been done numerous times. So if anyone could link me up to a free stock footage website or offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Yay for Postal Service! Only, Death Cab and Postal Service are very alike, considering they have the same lead singer, i think.
  13. OMG, finally, i think this guy cursed his thread so my computer wouldn't load the reply screen... Anyway... First of all there is this: Explanation : There were termites that could digest cellulose and then there were those who couldn't. Some mutated in such a way that these bugs could enter their bodies. The mutated termites probably were able to eat more wood, and therefore caused the extinction of the other species. That's exactly how evolution works. Most people who do not accept evolution are not thinking on a broad enough scale. People think that we evolved from a primate species in a matter of 100 years, while it actually happened in a much broader time. (not sure how long, but I'm not going to risk the factuality of my reply by using an approximate number.) Also the strongest evidence disproving Creation is the following comparison: Which is easier to believe, that a higher power that no one has any physical proof of, magically caused millions of plants, and millions of animals to magically appear only to then flood the world to get rid of them and make them again? or Evolution, which has PLENTY of physical evidence. Your topic is called "Evolution, Exchange of Facts" , but yet...you state hardly any facts at all. Reply to pianofreak: You use the word mutation in its most extreme form (i.e. eyes on feet, arms out of head) What about mutations in which a single extra mitochondrian is produced in evey cell in an organism's body? The above example isn't based on anything, I am just trying to prove a point that some mutations are very small and not noticable at all on the an aesthetic level. Also when you say that we should have animals with crazy mutations. Why should we? They would be highly disadvantaged and would die out quickly according to survival of the fittest, also they probably have happened in the past (in the billions of years that life has been forming).
  14. es' for me, they're very durable skate shoes, plus they look pretty sweet. Had some Fallen Chiefs, but they now have a huge hole in them from skating. I might get a pic of them later.
  15. Gah it seems I have given in to the RIAA's bluffs, but I'm not as disappointed in the alternatives to Limewire as I thought I would be. I switched to itunes today, I really like the way it is set up, and didn't know that it had all these extra features that Limewire does not. I love the free previews, they give me an idea of what I'm downloading which is great. I like downloading good quality music videos and entire albums at a time that I can't find in stores. Finally, the downloads are super fast. Good bye Limewire, Hello Itunes \
  16. That was happening to mine at one time. I ripped my toe nail off. Worst. Pain. Ever.
  17. You went through chemistry and didn't learn that molecules are always moving...wow...that is some extreme cheating :shame:
  18. I don't really know, but what I think is : Heavier gases = more energy needed to move the atoms, and since there is the same amount of energy (the temperature) the lighter gas would need less energy to be moved so they would move at different speeds. I wouldn't trust my answer too much though, because I just started Chemistry a week ago. :-w
  19. I'm trying to do monkey madness on my pure who has level 3 prayer, are there any other pures that have done this quest, if so I need advice! I use up all my food just trying to run to different parts of the the atoll, there must be a better way... also need advice on the demon at the end...
  20. That's the first thing i thought of whenever i looked at the new update....that is pure and utter pwnage if you ask me lol.
  21. How could you not know what the X-Games are? A few years ago, they were huge. Which brings me to my point - I was watching some skateboarding a few weeks ago, and it's pretty much moved back out of fame and is again the obscure type of sport it used to be. Ever since like, Tony Hawk isn't really famous anymore, you never, ever hear about it. The less hardcore fans stopped caring, so did the media, and so did the game developers (the old Tony Hawk games were some of the highest rated games ever, now they are mediocre tops). It got me to thinking-what if you were a teen growing up at like age 12 right when skateboarding started becoming really popular a few years back. And you practiced every day, it got in the way of your social life, and you always dreamed you would be rich and famous. Then by the time you got there, people had moved on and it was a shadow of it's formal self. That would suck. You don't know your skateboarding :shame: Skateboarding has moved on from vert, even though no one in the mainstream knows it. People like Paul Rodriguez, Andrew Reynolds, Jamie Thomas, and Eric Koston have made millions off skating. There are plenty of pros and ams that are making 70+ thousand a year.
