  1. Children. Still running away. That's the way I like it.
  2. Velvet Revolver is underrated. Was a great band. And Epilepsia is of couse the most underrated band ever. Because it's the best ever. Period. Ever. No, nobody will top them.
  3. Yes, I had that too. (and I guess everyone has) When I'd press Ctrl+alt+del and tried to shut a proces down, it would take like 3 minutes to even come up with the "End Process" dialog. Then I'd have to do it like 5 times to actually take any effect, damn annoying. And when my computer locked up, never did a keycombination work, it was always reset-button. I guess it's just a [cabbage]ty OS. Which it is. No problems like that with Kubuntu, when I press Ctrl+alt+esc, It kills the window. When I use kill -27 for example, it kills the process, it just works. Can't say the same with Windows XP. :x
  4. If I remember correctly it's a big hassle to install 2 windowses to dual-boot.. I don't know why, but I remember reading something like that from somewhere, though I could be totally wrong. Just use linux.
  5. You can use Partitionmagic for resizing NTFS (Windows' filesystem) partitions, but I guess there's a chance it'll screw something up, dunno. And about just moving the whole partition, I don't think it'll work. Your programs won't work, and probably windows neither. Even if you changed your bootloader & stuff. But I think you can make a partition of any size in the ubuntu/kubuntu install. At least I could do it with my Kubuntu Dapper Drake. (6.06)
  6. Hehe, my nick is JÃÆÃâÃâäÃÆÃâÃâäkilju, and I'm finnish. (Meaning ice-homemadealcohol, well, it's a long story  ) Groovy is a very nice word.

I thought Zune supported DRM and didn't even support microsoft's own "plays for sure"? And why would you want to buy crap and at the same time support even crappier company..
  8. I don't complain if someone doesn't use the correct grammar, but I just can't take a person typing leik diz srsly. It just looks like it's written by a 9-year-old. Though the minor things don't annoy me that much. And I'm not saying I have perfect grammar myself, 'cause I'm foreign. (finnish)
  9. Will there be rockpaperscissor online games too? Now that requires skills. 8-)
  10. No opinions involved only facts  : Republicans don't care for you and just attack every country they can't pronounce. And democrats use your money for your wealth and well-being and generally making your life easier. Now half-seriously: The nordic countrys are pretty leftist(/democratty(I love to make up my own words in a language I don't know how to talk)) and we have free public healthcare, schools and that kind of stuff, and I'm really happy with it. And by the way, the Finlands educational system was ranked the best in the world this year. (can't find a source just now, google it if you don't believe me)
  11. First of all, I think killing someone for killing is just hypocritical. And why not let him rot in a jail cell? And then, I think killing him also makes him just another martyr for some people, and you can't deny the influence of US to that judge in Iraq.
  12. Um. As far as I know, communism is just a 'part' of socialism, at least that's what I've been told on my history lessons & just read on wikipedia. Just that communism is getting to socialism by revolution, and that's why it takes the whole socialism (usually) further. Altough I could be totally wrong. ;) And I don't see why democracy can't exist in a communist country, 'cause I've been told that communism is the "ultimate democracy". It just hasn't been organized very well, if you know what I mean. :P And I live in Finland, which is a pretty socialist country just like Sweden, and the socialist party has been elected again and again for a long time. I live in Finland and it's all really equal in here, and I like it. And just as BlueTear said, the public school system is working really good. I'm not yet old enough to vote, but I'll probably vote for one of the leftist parties. :3> My first post on the forum, btw.
  13. I think the US would beg to differ. ANd quite frankly, I'm not going to sleep as soundly if North Korea develops a Nuclear arsenal. NO DEMOCRATIC NATION HAS EVER WAGED WAR ON ANOTHER DEMOCRATIC NATION. So untill Korea is a democracy, they can stay the h*** away from nucular technologie. I think the U.S. is a far bigger threat to world peace and should be disarmed before they have any right to tell another country it cannot arm its self in a similar fashion Completely agreed. While US still has loads of nukes, they have no right to tell anyone else not to have nukes. And they're the biggest threat to world peace anyways.
