Normally when i go out, if we're just sitting in the pub i'll sit with a pint of beer (Tennants is a favourite at the minute but i can drink most Lagers) or cider (Magners/Gaymers/Pear Kopparberg or Brothers Strawberry Cider). If it's one of those "heavier" drinking nights, i'll normally switch after a few beers to Vodka mixers and shots. My favourite shots are probably absinth (not the real stuff, still pretty potent however) or any of the various Sourz. If i end up in a club, its always flavoured vodkas (WKD/VK) i drink.

Yup. G3 and the Carl Gustav are my two new favourite weapons. Someone in one of my squads was saying with the update on the 11th, they'll add red dot and 4x scopes for the M14 and G3. Dunno if its true or not but i hope it is. I had a good game flying the Blackhawk on Valparaiso. My gunner was pretty good so i got quite a few driver assists but we totally distracted the other team, they were all aiming RPGs and stuff at me which allowed my team to slip in and set the charges. It feels bad-[wagon] as hell flying round the enemy base with RPGs shooting in all directions around you.

Unlocked the G3 battle rifle yesterday, used it for a few games and quite like it. The small magazine is a bit of a downer but i think the damage it does makes up for it. Was reading the revised weapon stats the other night, the patch for PS3/Xbox is scheduled for May 11th. I don't think the change in weapon damage and whatever will bother me too much, i already have my favourites and will probably stick with them.

To be honest, i wasn't entirely aware people in the UK had to register to vote until this election came around and those adverts on the tv were broadcast reminding people to register. There was a postal voting option available over here, which is pretty good as i know some of the more elderly neighbours in my steet used it as they would have a hard time getting up to the polling station.

Decided to use the XM8 LMG with a red dot and magnum ammo until i complete the medic. As good as the iron sights are, the red dot makes a hell of a difference to me so i think its worth having. Got a couple of double kills with the M95, took a shot at one guy crouched down next to the corner of a wall and at that split second his teammate ran behind him. Also played a few games of Cod earlier with a friend, makes me realise just how much i prefer this game.

I'm pretty sure there were still queues of people waiting to vote at one of the polling stations in my town at 9.45, 15 minutes before it was scheduled to shut. Not entirely sure what they done about that. I voted Lib Dem however.

Yeah, it doesn't make all that much of a difference. Still a kick-[wagon] gun. I'm still not sure which LMG im gonna use to get the MG3, i'm thinking of sticking with the MG36 as i can put the med-kit bonuses on instead of a red dot sight although i was kicking [wagon] earlier with the XM8 with red dot and magnum ammo. The choices...!!! Also, any tips for using the Engineer class? I've unlocked up to the AK-74, pretty much played similar to how i would with assault but obviously focused on vehicles when we came across them. Usually take anti-tank mines on the first spawn and dot them around, play until i get killed then switch to RPG until the mines are triggered. First off with the medic class. The beauty with the last 3 guns ( XM8, MG36 and the MG3) is that they dont need a red dot. Leaving room for extra grenads on a light weight pack. The XM8's iron sights are some of the best in the game, MG36 has its own RDS and the MG3's are not the best, but I make it work. Just find what works best for you and stick with it. As for me... close range combat if the MG3. I am kinda biased though...I LOVE that gun. However, the MG36 is better suited for long range. As for engineer, I would suggest either the SCAR-L or the XM8C. SCAR-L is very deadly at medium range, and close range it gets the job done nicely. The Ak-74 is ok, but I think it has a little bit to much recoil for me liking. Cool, think it's gonna be the XM8 LMG im gonna stick with. I find it's iron sights easier to use in most situations than the MG36's built in scope. The SCAR-L has been my favourite engineer gun so far, reckon i'll stick to that. I found with the AK-74 and the XM8C particularly, that i ran out of ammo too damn quickly.

Played for the first time in a while today. Got my [wagon] kicked up and down the map haha. Trying to finish unlocking the MG3 for medic class then start on Engineer then i'll have everything unlocked. Another thing i noticed, i dunno if it's because i haven't played in a while but with the MG36, there seemed to be a split second moment where the screen completely blacks out when aiming down the standard scope, it seems like it takes longer. Was this part of the update?

There was a guy who drove an Aston Martin Vantage past me every morning on my way to work. We usually passed at near enough the same time every morning at a junction (i was waiting to cross at lights, he was on the road), the sound coming out that car when he revved it up and drove off was [bleep]ing insane.

I quite enjoyed the single player story, it maybe a bit far fetched with some of the bits but i liked it. Overall however, compared to Cod4, the online was a complete disappointment.

Kinda. I put a red dot on one of them (can't remember which one) but found that i ran out of ammo too damn quickly. It'd work if you had a squad that keeps everyone topped up, which i didn't.

Spent this afternoon cleaning my room and the flat. Currently chilling out with a massive plate of potato smiley faces and making plans for going home for a while sometime next week.

There was a good documentary on over here a few weeks back that touched on this subject. "Louis Theroux: America's Medicated Kids". Basically, he went to America and lived with families who had kids with stuff like ADHD, ADD and aspergers to see how it affected them. Well worth a watch.

It's not great over here either man. My cousin over there said he can get me a job as a computer technician for the company he owns in London. I worked at Best Buy up until I got layed off last week. I like London, I was born there in fact. Hopefully I will get a job there. Ah, thats pretty sweet that your cousin can set you up. I'm looking for something for the summer but it's just not happening at the minute.

This is quite a good way of putting it. Seriousness when the situation calls for it is a sign of maturity although being serious all the time isn't, in my opinion.

Yeah, theres an Alt Vehicle Weapon specilization. Gives the driver another weapon, machine gun on an MBT, guided rocket on a Bradley/APC and i'm not entirely sure what it gives attack helicopters, another guided missile i think. And also a machine gun for the UAV. It's the vehicle specilization i use as i like getting in amongst it with the UAV machine gun. The helicopters are great to fly. I done the exact same thing the first time i tried flying them. Also had some pilots bail on us the second we start taking fire.
