Just Cause 2 is pretty good. So is GTA IV for that matter, i prefer Just cause though.

Theres the old one where you get 3 sheep (or any other readily available animal), paint the numbers 1, 2 and 4 on them and release them in the school. They're easily caught but everyone spends the rest of the day looking for the non-existant sheep number 3. Supposedly one of the high schools in our area did it one year as a leaving prank by the seniors, doubt it though.

Started using the assault class. I sucked [wagon] with it when i started playing so i started on all the other classes. Played with it tonight and owned with it. Was the last guy to leave a barn we had captured on conquest. I was hiding behind a quad bike and a small shed when the enemy light tank stopped right outside the barn, capping the flag point. I put an ammo box down and started throwing normal hand grenades. Managed to blow the tank up and kill the other guy who got out to fix it. That same game i saw a squad mate blow a building up and wipe out an entire enemy squad with Destruction 2.0. Pretty epic.

Got a couple of destruction 2.0 kills today, used a mortar strike to collapse a building on a sniper taking pot shots at my squad. Had a completely [developmentally delayed]ed squad earlier, i was a medic along with this other guy. The other two were assault and engineer. I captured a point, the squad spawned on me just as a Bradley light tank decided to show up and [bleep] us up pretty good. The engineer hit it once with an RPG, he died so i ran over to revive him. We both ran around the corner where the tank was waiting for us. Our other medic was behind a rock just to our right, he couldn't be hit but he could still revive us. He revived me and the engineer like 3 times, we got killed instantly each time. It's childish but i done the same to him when he wandered into a snipers killing zone. If anyone on xbox360 wants to play, send me a pm on tif with your GT and i'll add you.

Had a brilliant few hours playing this tonight. The most fun i've had in ages on xbox live. Playing my usual conquest and end up in a squad with these two older (like 25-30) English dudes and this other random. Normally, hardly anyone speaks but everyone in our squad did. Everyone worked as a team as well and had a laugh, i was the medic, one English dude played recon, the other played engineer/assault and the other random just picked whatever. We were the top squad almost every game, i unlocked a crapload of medic stuff as well. One of the guys let his wife on for a laugh when we were trying to capture B on Panama Canal. I revived her like 6 times, got mega points haha. The way we played it tonight was definately the way it was meant to be played, bloody brilliant.

Been mixing up which classes im using, where i'd normally snipe i'd go medic for example. Only class im not too great with is the assault class. Had a brilliant game where i was driving the Bradley light tank in support of my squad and we absolutely dominated. I killed a crap load of enemies trying to protect point C on conquest on the White pass map. They ended up blowing up my tank, i spawned on my squad as medic with the PKM and hid in the collapsed remains of one of the buildings and mowed down like 3 full squads of enemies once the recon guy had spotted them. Feels good when team work really pays off. Dammit i love this game.

I'd agree with the part about global warming. A couple of my courses this year at uni were taught by professors and senior students concerned with "environmental" science (things like meteorology, oceanography and geoscience, among others) and a high number had ongoing research projects which related to global warming and climate change. None of the professors said anything about obtaining grants but a PhD student made a few jokes about how climate change projects were getting a ton of grant money. Makes sense i suppose, as its quite a major concern at this point in time.

I think apart from the obvious development of humans, making us resistant to disease/infection kind of thing, you could tinker about with the genetics of animals and plants to maximise the amount of "food" we can get from them. A bit like selective breeding, really. Having wings would be pretty sweet as well but that'd probably take a back seat until humans are disease resistant and what not.

Spent tonight in the library, got my report finished finally. Went to Tesco's on the way home, walked past the police and paramedic crew tending what looked like some guy who got drunk and stumbled in front of a moving car. Out Tesco's and walking home, further up the road there were two police vans with a bunch of guys getting searched against a wall. What a pleasant area.

Back home for easter break this weekend, looking forward to playing this again. :smile: Been watching some gameplay/tactic vids so i've got some new stuff to try out.

Driving manual is pretty easy. Only advantage i'd see in driving auto is if you're in stop-start traffic a lot, it'd save you changing gear all the time but meh, i'd get a manual every time. Feels bad-[wagon] when you're accelerating away pretty fast and get all the gear changes spot on. Love it. Also, wheelspins.

I've downloaded a load of music thats been .rar compressed. Just remember to scan it with your anti-virus and you'll be golden.

Some pretty good OC on /x/ at the minute, threads been running for the past couple of days i think. Some guy in Brazils been having spooky crap happening about his house, stuff moving, doors unlocking, that kind of thing. Theres a whole backstory as well i can't be bothered typing but he found some of his grandads old stuff from the war or something and the spooky stuff got worse. Might be a complete over-reaction or a troll but damn, i love that kind of thread.

When you were 14? What the hell kind of club was this? And all clubs I'v been in you cna't really chat in, at all. If you want to tlak to someone you have to yell in their ear, and half the time they still can't hear you. Heh, its hilarious watching people shout in each others ears asking them if they want a drink when you can do the old tilting of the wrist hand sign and everyone knows what you mean.

What's with the staggering amount of people failing to realise the topic's actual subject? This confused me. I read the Op's post and thought of dance hardcore then all these people start listing metal hardcore bands. Like half the posts and bands suggested aren't even what the Op was looking for. Its an old thread anyway so it doesn't matter.

Yeah, people usually play the freedom of speech card to defend whatever they said after it's been proved wrong. Dude's trolling.

Been to a fair few, usually go to a bar or a pub before hand to get liquored up. Student nights during the week (here at least) are definately the best. Entry and drinks are normally cheaper and it's filled with students and theres sometimes a theme of some sort, the other week everyone that turned up with a moustache (real or fake :smile: ) got in for half price. Quite unreal seeing all these moustached people dancing about. When i'm back home, we usually go out friday or saturday nights which is usually more expensive, theres a lot more arseholes in the clubs on these days as well.

Explain that please, i really don't get what you're trying to say.

I've never tried any of the deathmatch style games yet. Conquest is my thing.

Creep is my favourite, not a huge fan but i bought Pablo Honey, which is quite a good album.

I never usually ask for anything for my birthday so my parents and that usually just give me some money and clothes or something. Still got like 3/4's of last years birthday money from like 6 months ago. Probably just keep it and change it into Euros for my holiday.
