  1. Forgot about my student bursary and loan as well. Not really earning but it's the only income i've got at the minute (apart from saved money).

Got a presentation to prepare for a class tomorrow. Should've probably started earlier but meh, won't take too long as i'll write some ideas down and just try and wing it. Its not important.
  3. I like tattoos in general but theres something about this i just hate. There were like 4 or 5 different people at my old job who had something similar to this tattoo'd behind their ear. If you're gonna get inked, might as well get something meaningful to yourself or something somewhat original. Probably will get a tattoo eventually, probably at the top of my arm. At least it'd be easier to conceal if i had to, even on hot days. Seen a few designs i quite liked, wouldn't get one unless i was 100% sure.

Been on it once or twice. Too many people with their trousers down slappin' their junk on cam for my liking. 4chan trolls all over it as well.
  5. Had a morning paper run when i was younger, done that for years. At the start of high school there was a killing (!) to be made in selling cigarettes to the neds and crazy kids that didn't look old enough to buy their own. A friend of mine done this, buying a pack of cigarettes and selling them individually to the smoker kids for crazy profit. As for proper jobs, i worked part-time in a super market when i was still at high school then worked for a year and a bit before Uni as a technician type person in an office complex.
  6. Haha demoliboy, that was brilliant. I know someone who sounds exactly the same as the guy in it.

Almost finished an essay paper due this week. Almost. Spent all of today looking through research papers on carbon emissions, global warming and deforestation. Yay for uni.
  8. Suppose we could wait till the bears hibernating, sneak in and kick its [wagon]. Or not. Marlin are pretty scary things, big pointy sword and they swim damn fast. Heard a story of some guy who was fishing for sailfish/marlin/swordfish (something with a pointy sword for a face), he hooked one and managed to get it fairly close to the boat when it pulled out a burst of energy, jumped out of the water and impaled the dude, landing in the boat. Pretty sure he survived, remarkably.

My initial thoughts also. Not too bad, i've heard worse. Would probably have enjoyed it more if i wasn't squinting, trying to find an angle where the drummer looks like a chick.
  10. Haha pretty good topic. Doubt theres anything in my weight range (around 130lbs i think) i could take without a weapon, another human maybe but nothing with claws or pointy, sharp teeth. I lol'd at the person who's gonna punch the bear in the throat. [hide=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVS1UfCfxlU[/hide] This guy knows how to tackle a bear fight.

  12. Missed out on the 80's by a year. Meh.
  13. This is my attitude towards it as well. Makes playing seem like a job rather than a past time.

Missed the opening ceremony and i'll most likely miss most of the televised coverage, which is unlucky. Saw the whole luge thing though, really awful way to start such a massive event (or any event for that matter).
  15. I remember the [cabbage]storm this caused when the story first came to light. I'm all for free speech and that but a little more understanding of different beliefs/ways of life could go a long way in situations like this.
  16. Nadril's pic pretty much sums up why i got frustrated with it. Roll on Battlefield: BC2, i say.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeNKhm09Q88 Goldfinger - Superman and the game i nostalgia about. Tony Hawks was one of the first games i bought myself, remember spending hours on it with my friends and that song is the one i most remember. Theres probably some other songs that remind me of other stuff but thats the one i can recall at the minute.

Just saw Job For A Cowboy, Lamb Of God, Between The Buried And Me and August Burns Red at one of the best music venues in Britain. Ears are still ringing.

Not a phobia as such but when im sitting at home alone with the dog, watching tv/xbox or whatever and the dog gets up and goes to the lounge door, like he does when someones coming in, but theres no-one there. That [cabbage] freaks me out, especially if he growls or barks. The worse part is you have to take him out and show him theres no-one there before he goes back to his basket.
  20. I support same sex marriage but i don't agree with what you said here. As others have said, many couples can't start families of their own but can adopt/ have IVF treatment so they can still raise children. On the other hand, many folk get married and don't want children. The whole point (reason) of getting married differs from person to person.
  21. Phil Lynott from Thin Lizzy is my favourite. I don't care if he was the best technical player or whatever, he just looked badass playing it.
  22. 3) Is your country a racist country? Why/why not? I wouldn't say Scotland is any more racist than any other country. Sure there are incidents every now and again where the event may have been "racially motivated" or whatever but there isn't a continuous onslaught against a certain minority group. Racism happened quite a lot at football matches, with players from different ethnic backgrounds getting chanted at by certain groups of the crowd. Not just in Scotland, but across Britain there were campaigns to "kick racism out of football" and "show racism the red card" which helped to bring the problem into the spotlight. There were crackdowns by the police on people at football matches singing racist songs and sectarian (another big problem in Scotland) chants. There were also those anti racism, black and white wristbands everyone wore a few years back. Can't really comment on Australia although i have heard of Aborigines and white Australians giving each other racist abuse.
  23. Haha. My primary school had a rule where no-one was allowed to bring toy guns in, but they meant like cap-guns and air-rifles and such, not tiny guns for an action figure or something. The world nowadays... I meant saying that his favorite subject was math. No relation guns. Or even legos for that matter. Yeah, thats what i was laughing at.
