Cell phones in school
Used to find it funny when someone had their phone on silent vibrate when someone phoned them and you could hear it kinda vibrating against the plastic seat. All the pupils in the class kinda turned to see who it was but the teacher was oblivious.

Stupid People
Had a girl in a lab session last semester try to dry her jumper over a naked flame. Theres a high amount of stupid people at Uni, (un?) surprisingly.

Cell phones in school
My old high school seems pretty damn relaxed compared to some of yours. Obviously phones were banned during classes but teachers never really confiscated them or anything. MP3 players and iPods were banned in the corridors for like a week before everyone forgot about that rule. Most of the teachers were cool about them, most let you listen to them in class if you were working on an essay or a project or something and they needed you to keep quiet.

Toys of your childhood.
Haha, The brickster's revenge was awesome.

Toys of your childhood.
Lego, lego and more lego for me. Without a doubt my favourite childhood toy. Had loads of matchbox cars and a big rug that was a town with roads and stuff as well. Also remember a toy called "Dragonflys" or something. It was like a guy with wings and you clicked him ontop of his dragon and pulled its tail and the figure shot up into the air. Caused all kind of carnage with that.

Dope.
Weeds alright. It's good having a smoke then sitting listening to music, beats getting drunk off your [wagon] then going to some club definately. I wouldn't try anything other than pot though, Lsd doesn't appeal to me at all and other harder drugs are just a no-go, period.

Today...
Saw a knife get pulled on some dude outside a club last year, didn't realise it at the time though. Went out for a smoke with one of my friends i was with and there was this big group of people arguing and shouting with two guys in particular, proper squaring up to each other. Next thing they just start laying into each other, they're punching and kicking the [cabbage] out of each other for a good 30 seconds when one guy seems to hit him in the stomach and the guy went straight down. Turns out the guy had a knife or something stashed in his jeans and had stabbed the guy. No-one realised really at the time until his friends went to help him up and saw the blood on his shirt. The guy that stabbed him ran off, but the police and ambulance came really quick. I'm sure i've seen the guy at that same club earlier this year so i think he's fine.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Heard talk of there being some kind of tactical, command and conquer-esque RTS game being made under the Call Of Duty title. I think the folk were talking crap but who knows. If IW make the next Call of duty, i'll be hesitant buying it. The amount of bugs and glitches and stuff like that that's appeared in MW2 has kinda lowered my view of IW. Still, COD4 is probably one of my all time favourite games. Also been reading the IW forums a lot recently and goddammit, the [cabbage] that gets spewed there is unreal.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Played a fair bit this weekend with some friends. Just over 31% accuracy and 1.65 k/d. Had 4 games in a row where i got 23/24 killstreaks before either getting killed or the game ending. Damn frustrating. Really notice a difference playing with people i actually know, working together and such. I like the ACR, i can see why people think it's overpowered but i don't care.

American Education and Foreign Language Learning
I'm not American so i can't comment on that but it seems much the same in the Uk. We started learning very basic french, numbers/alphabet and simple sentences in primary school. French was compulsary in first and second year of high school then optional from then on. I done french for five of the six years in high school and german for three. There wasn't a great choice of languages, mostly due to my old school's languages department being really understaffed but we had a teacher who could speak, as well as french/spanish/german, fluent russian and italian. They became an option in senior years if there was enough interest in them but there rarely was. It's a shame.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Played a little more today with some folk from my old work, we were pretty good as a team and had a laugh. Got my accuracy to above 30% and my k/d to 1.59, aiming for 1.60. Got some kick [wagon] tac knife kills and magnum headshots from across the map. Started using the ACR to see what the fuss is about, quite like it at the minute. Looks pretty sweet in the desert camoflage.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Spent half of tonight playing with some friends. Got put in one game where everyone was sprinting about crazily fast then got about 5 messages from random people saying something about a 10th prestige lobby. Still think Cod4 is much better.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I do this sometimes as well. Been doing a fair bit of train travel the past year and a bit, usually coming home on the last train at about 11:30 at night where theres a high majority of drunk folk. If im just myself i put my earphones in so as not to be bothered but if im with friends i'll just talk or whatever.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Know how you feel there man. The lab sessions i'm working on for one of my classes at the minute are going right over my head. It sounds bad but, at the minute, i don't care. Motivation has been low this whole semester.
