Currently at Uni doing some environmental science/geoscience based courses. Found some aspects of them to be seriously boring but others remarkably interesting. Toying with the idea of doing a language next year, which will replace some of the optional environmental science courses i picked this year. We'll see. As for a career, i still have no idea although the military has always been an option i would potentially consider. Saying that, i know someone who does geology based work for a large oil/drilling company and she earns a mint. Leaving my options open.

Going through a phase of watching London criminal films at the minute. Watched Layer Cake, Snatch and Rock 'n' Rolla this weekend. Gonna watch Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels tomorrow.

QI is brilliant. One of my favourite programs. Stephen Fry is a legend.

Was having a listen through some of my Billy Connolly stuff and remember about this. Its his take on the crucifiction story as if it was in Glasgow. Quite a good example of scottish slang, my english flatmate only understood about 3/4 of it lol.

It started snowing again when i left my friends house about two hours ago. Still forecast for these conditions for another week i think. Scotland may be coping better than England but some places are still pretty rough. Some of the main roads to my house are still frozen and the small streets in housing areas are hellish. Heading back to the capital sometime this weekend so we'll see if Edinburgh city council have coped better than my hometowns. :smile:

Not really, just see some people i used to hang around with a lot less than i used to. Although there is one good friend who i haven't seen since he started seeing his current girlfriend. Been over a year since i've spoken to him. Got him added on facebook though so it's no big deal really.

Unlocked the ACR, gonna give it a try instead of the TAR-21. No way i'm gonna prestige before i head back to Uni though but i'm happy with my k/d and stuff.

Got some awesome photos of some snow covered mountains and ranges whilst out with the dog earlier in the week. Snow makes the scenery in the UK look loads better.

Dunno what the jobs are but i've spoke to people ingame who've been playing at work, killing time when they haven't been busy or whatever. Of course it wouldn't add up to 50 hours a week but it's still some extra. And i daresay there'd be jobs (data input for example) where it'd be possible to train afk skills when working at the computer.

I think some people here are looking too much into it. It's a meaningless record. She's spent an insane amount of time playing video games. So? I'm not condoning it and agree it must have had a serious impact but we know nothing of her personal circumstances and It's her time to spent how she sees fit. Yes, it will have negative effects on other aspects of life but again, it's up to the individual to get their priorities straight. If she feels she can spend x hours every day online, so be it. If thats how she wants to spent her time, and she feels the negatives are worth it, then thats it. End of.

Boosters are annoying. Found two boosters hiding in a corner, one of them 3 kills off a nuke before i ended it. Got all my titles and stuff legit as well. They don't reset when you prestige, right? Unlocked the nuke as well, came close to getting my chopper gunner a few times but kept doing daft stuff and getting killed.

Had a godly game on highrise domination with the intervention. Got a new killstreak (would've easily gotten a nuke if i had it unlocked <_< ) and didn't die once in the full match. Got the highlander title for that. Also got a title for C4 kills. Still amazes me how people fail to notice the flashing package next to the flag point lol.

Pretty insane whatever way you look at it. Over 7 times the amount of time i've spend. :blink:

I really liked The Office, both the Uk and American versions but i much prefered his standup to his acting. He's a genuinely funny guy.
