Extreme Sports?
I've never tried hang gliding myself but i've been up and flew gliders a fair few times and the sensation is just surreal, it never gets old. Unfortunately i haven't had the opportunity to do it in a while but when Uni starts up i'm definately trying to get back into it. Other than that, i quite like throwing myself down hills on a mountain bike.

ENTER SHIKARI
[hide]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMuf4JNMZYo[/hide] A vid taken (not by me) from when me and a friend seen them earlier this year. Sound quality is pretty [cabbage] but it shows the lights and stuff which made the gig much better imo.

Old-school cartoons
Scooby Doo was my favourite by far. Seen a newer remake of it on a kids channel and it was just awful. Oh, and Top Cat as well. Awesome cartoon.

The Ghosts Of World War II's Past
Brilliant photos. Pretty cool to think that what we see as normal everyday streets nowadays may have had important people and events happening on them years and years ago.

Tourists
All the tourists i've came across over here have had a good enough grasp of English for me to be able to understand them. Whether they could understand the Scottish accent when i spoke back is another matter entirely. :shades: Being able to speak the very basics of the language of wherever you're travelling to is a good idea and it's amazing how much you can pick up in a few weeks of staying in the country.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
People who smoke when babies/young kids are present. At least go outside.

Insane Clown Posse.
This, pretty much. Some people seem to take it bloody seriously. Not a fan.

Parents
I'd say both my parents have done a pretty good job of raising me and my younger sister. Although we grew up with both parents, we only had Grans as other main family members as one of my Grandads had died just before i was born and the other left my dad and my gran when my dad was around 20 and never spoke to them again. I think that might've made me a bit closer to my dad than i maybe would've been if i had other male figures (grandads) when i was growing up but who knows. Anyway, can't fault my parents on the way they raised me and my sister.

What are your flaws?
- I can be too laid back about certain things, report deadlines/revision for exams and stuff like this. I know i've got work to do but i procrastinate then usually just try to wing it at the last minute, with varying results. - I can be unemotional. - I have trouble opening up to people which can make it hard to maintain relationships with some people. - If i'm invited out with friends or whatever, and i don't really fancy going, i'll make up an excuse as to why i can't go rather than just straight up say "no, i don't feel like coming." I don't know why i started doing this but im getting myself out of the habit. Probably loads more, depending on who you ask.

Xbox 360 RROD
Yeah, i tried the towel trick when my first Xbox got the RROD. It worked the first time i tried it for about a month and a half then the RROD returned and the trick never seemed to work again. Got rid of that xbox and got a new one.

Live Concerts
Got mine a few months ago. And honestly, Sonisphere in Sweden has had the worst damn planners I've ever experienced. It's a disgrace. Right now they're trying to sell their [cabbage]ty iPhone/Android app, for 4eur (completely ignoring the fact that Android apps that cost money aren't supported in Sweden yet). It contains cool features such as when and where the bands will perform (which they'll release on the website anyway... "soon"), exclusive videos and pictures and all the "happenings" in the festival area. Guys, it's a one day festival with two [bleep]ing stages. Don't think I'll have much of a problem finding the right stage. And those "happenings" will be Guitar Hero related. I just know it. And they advertised for the longest time that "plenty of other amazing bands will be announced in the coming months". Then once the tickets got sold out, we find out that those bands were Hammerfall, Warrior Soul and Imperial State Electric, and no band to replace Heaven & Hell with. Welp, at least I understand why they waited until they sold out all the tickets before making that announcement. ... Anyway. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your ticket, mcneilp? Our Sunday day tickets (Iron Maiden headlining, Pendulum, Alice in Chains, Slayer on the main stage) cost us about £70 each, not including those [developmentally delayed]ed Ticketmaster booking fees and postage/packing. We're thinking about making the trip into a mini-holiday as well with maybe a day or two in London as it isn't too far away from where we'll be staying.

Live Concerts
My day tickets arrived today for the Sonisphere festival. We got them to see Iron Maiden but there's a few other bands i'm gonna check out that are on earlier.

ENTER SHIKARI
Saw them live at the start of this year as a friend had an extra ticket. Not my favourite band but their live show was pretty damn sweet, with the massive screens and the lights and such. Labrynth or Juggernauts are probably my favourite tracks.

Shoes
At the minute i've got a pair of black Etnies Santiagos, a dark blue/navy/gold pair of Adidas Campus and a black/red/white pair of DC something or others i've had for a while. And my old safety boots from work.

World Cup 2010 - South Africa!
Felt really bad for the Ghana player that missed the penalty in the last minute or so.

Nationality & Belonging to a country
Similar story here. Proud as hell to be Scottish but it doesn't make me better than anyone else. Scotland has problems (as does the UK as a whole) which need sorting but i feel a fair number of people here would identify themselves as Scottish before calling themselves British.

What movie(s) did you last see?
The Collector. Pretty [cabbage] film, kinda in the same vein as the Saw films. Pretty gory as well. Wouldn't really recommend it.
