  1. I'll pass. I'm ok with not knowing.
  2. Hell, i remember that. Just nostalgia'd after reading that. Kid's Calpol was the best tasting medicine. Had a donor kebab pizza the other week which was pretty damn nasty. I really dunno why i asked for it.
  3. Had another game earlier that reminded me why i love this so much. Attacking on Valparaiso, decided to use the M14/M1 Garand and absolutely kicked ass with them. Ended the game 41-15, the most score out of both teams and got a ton of medals. Our team was getting ripped apart at the MCOMs after the lighthouse base (at the bottom of the hill) by snipers but nobody seemed to bother so i whipped out the smoke grenades and got in amongst it. It's brilliant when the other team are tearing you to bits then one simple action changes the whole tide of the battle.

Spent today listening to music and doing various bits and pieces of cleaning up around the house. Also started packing my case for going on holiday. It's gonna be two weeks of carnage.
  6. Back into playing this game. Had a brilliant few games with a squad of Americans who actually communicated. We were the only reason our team won the matches we played as we had some players C4'ing our own MCOM buildings when defending and a whole bunch of lolrecon hiding in the bushes 5 miles away from the action. One of the attacking games on Valparaiso with them was one of the quickest i've played. I had the UAV from the first station right up until the final MCOMs, spotting/MG'ing/Missile Striking for the team whilst they hopped in the Bradley and basically Blitzkrieg'd our way through the other team. Brilliant fun.
  7. ESFP. I'm quite surprised. Fairly accurate on the whole. A couple of things i'm not too sure apply to me as much as the test implies but not far off.
  8. Why is that? PS: Anyone try dunking cookies in beer? Oddly enough they actually complement each other. I'm not 100% but I'm fairly sure the bacteria in milk react with alcohol and causes at the very least stomach cramp/pain My friends say drinking milk "lines" your stomach which slows down the absorption of alcohol or something. I'm almost sure this is a myth as the milk just acts like water or any other non-alcoholic drink by diluting the alcohol when it's in your stomach which slows down absorption. I've never heard anything about bacteria in milk reacting with alcohol however.
  9. The Germans outclassed the English, deserved the win. Disgracful defending by England. No doubt there'll be some people in the news and whatever moaning about the disallowed goal but i don't think it would've made a whole load of difference, the criticism should be on the English defence, not the ref making a tough call. And i'm pretty sure thats their biggest defeat in an International match since 1962 or something.
  10. Intriguing summed it up pretty good. Some of my friends drink a glass or two of milk before going out as it's said to slow down the alcohol absorption or something. I've not noticed much of a difference when i've done it but they swear by it so it might be worth a shot. Never drink on an empty stomach and eating something greasy and fatty during your night out always helps as well. Was it the same kind of drink you were having when you were feeling sick each time? For me, certain kinds of alcopops and really sugary vodka mixes make me feel sick instantly so i just avoid drinking them altogether.
  11. Cougars are fine, it's when bears do it that it gets scary. So many times I've been killing a bear only to get side swiped by another one, then when standing up a third one appears. I did realise that they very often travel in 3's. I did have a situation at one point when i got between two groups of bears which all came for me. They took down my horse and just swarmed me, I only managed to escape by using deadeye to headshot them. Haha yeah, thats happened to me a couple of times. I find bears easier to spot than cougars so i can either shoot it in the face before it charges me down or avoid it.
  12. Nirvana are pretty overrated. I still quite like them but i don't like all the hype and whatnot thats placed on Kurt Cobain.
  13. This is one of the few games i've paid really close attention to the story line and i've loved every minute of it. I've now done the main story line and i'm working on the hunting challenges and completing the acheivements for the 360. Also, cougars can go to hell. I don't mind the first one which yells before it attacks you but the stealthy one that comes after sometimes annoys the hell out of me.
  14. Seemingly the servers have been updated and according to the forums, the lag is gone for the most part, for American players at least. I'm installing the second multiplayer update at the minute so i'll see how it is for us in Europe. Will probably get the Onslaught mode once i come back from my holidays. EDIT: Yep, i played a few games just then and not a hint of lag. Well done DICE.
  15. God, i hate Adrian Chiles. Mick McCarthy as well. He makes the football sound about as exciting as a list of building materials. Got sent this joke earlier: [hide] 50°F People in Southern England turn on the central heating People in Edinburgh put out bedding plants 40°F Southerners shiver uncontrollably Glaswegians sunbathe on the beach at Largs 35°F Cars in the South of England refuse to start People in Falkirk drive with their windows down 20°F Southerners wear overcoats, gloves and woolly hats Aberdonian men throw on a t-shirt; girls start wearing mini-skirts. 50°F People in Southern England turn on the central heating People in Edinburgh put out bedding plants 40°F Southerners shiver uncontrollably Glaswegians sunbathe on the beach at Largs 35°F Cars in the South of England refuse to start People in Falkirk drive with their windows down 20°F Southerners wear overcoats, gloves and woolly hats Aberdonian men throw on a t-shirt; girls start wearing mini-skirts 15°F Southerners begin to evacuate to the continent People from Dundee swim in the River Tay at Broughty Ferry 0°F Life in the South grinds to a halt Inverness folk have the last BBQ before it gets cold -10°F Life in the South ceases to exist People in Dunfermline throw on a light jacket -80°F Polar bears wonder if it's worth carrying on Boy Scouts in Oban start wearing their long trousers -100°F Santa Claus abandons North Pole People in Stirling put on their 'long johns' -173°F Alcohol freezes Glaswegians get upset because all the pubs are shut -297°F Microbial life starts to disappear The cows in Dumfriesshire complain about farmers with cold hands -460°F All atomic motion stops Shetlanders stamp their feet and blow on their hands -500°F Hell freezes over Scotland will support England in the World cup [/hide]
  16. There were a couple of big issues in Scotland, Edinburgh in particular about government spending on building the Scottish parliament building. Initially, IIRC, it was supposed to cost somewhere between £20-50 million to build which, amid a [cabbage]storm of controversy, ended up costing £400+ million. I can't really comment on the situation in England or wherever but there are always pieces in the news about good organisations and government funded schemes which shut down as they're not being funded or supported anymore.
  17. Argentina should run Greece right off the pitch. They're nowhere near as good as they were when they won the Euros a few years back.
  18. I have noticed more lagging... It dose blow but everyone in the game has this problem, not just you. Thats how I try to look at it. Mmh. I wonder whats going on with their servers. I would like to know. As far as I know, EA has done nothing to fix this problem. I have noticed it has been getting a little worse the more you play. Same here. My connection was fine before i installed that multiplayer update thing a few weeks or so back. I've tried playing with both the wireless adaptor and an ethernet cable but theres little to no difference in lag.
  19. Trying to get back into playing this but the amount of really laggy games i'm being put in is really starting to get annoying.
  20. Felt kinda bad for North Korea after that, i think they deserved a consolation goal or something lol. The first half was pretty boring though, didn't see 7 goals coming.
  21. Brazil - Ivory Coast. Not a bad match, spoiled a bit at the end with Kaka getting sent off. A really poor decision by the ref, considering he didn't even see the incident.
  22. [hide]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99a6DaheLqs[/hide] Something a bit different. Both their albums are well worth checking out. They're pretty good live as well.
  23. Haha this. Algeria deserved a win there i think.
  24. The [bleep]? Neil's a chav and you know it, he was already bigger than Don Corleone in primary school. Haha, careful or there could be a horses head winging it's way to you.
