Make sure you have the agility fence in your mini-map like the clue shows and you should be there.

I seriously doubt Jagex would accept that excuse! Is potentially losing your character you worked long and hard on worth a few scammed gp?

If you are talking about this clue, You can safely range the Sara Wizard by just running back 3 or 4 steps on top of the hill after he pops up. He will chase you for a few steps then go back to where he popped up. Put protect from magic on and waste him with arrows. Bring anti-poison because he may stab you with his dagger before you can back up.

What I did was to switch from the Blues to the Red Dragons in the Brimhaven dungeon. Made quite a bit of gp selling the hides for 4.5-5k each.

If it's the one I'm thinking of a lot of people seem to have trouble with this one. I've never done this particular one, but based upon the map I'm thinking it's in this area. When you find it take a screen capture so others can benefit from your experience.

Level 3 clues were meant to be the most difficult. That's why the reward is greater. I would recommend getting yourself to the point where you can start the Legends Quest. That Karamja Jungle location comes up quite often for level 3 clue scrolls. 100s of monsters is not abnormal for a clue drop. One more thing. Please refrain from using profanity on these boards.

I've done about 200 level 3 clues and find I get about 1 good reward to 8 treasure trails. 1 Robin Hood in all those clues.

That's odd. Looks like you are doing everything right. Isn't this the area where they moved some things like the Lumbridge swap mine and house to? Maybe that caused a glitch in the clue location. Since there was an update today you might want to try it again. If still no luck submit a report to Jagex similar to what you posted here.
