  1. Today was the first time I ever tried woodcutting at Port Sarim willows. It's actually kind of a nice place, with a large space to build fires. There's just one problem: macroers. There's nothing to stop them there. Except randoms. My ideas: 1 Stick a dark wizard there.(lvl 7) 2 Stick a level 2 aggressive monster there. 3 Stick a level 4 aggressive monster there. Discuss. Rate. Suggest. Thank you in advance. Edit: Why dark wizards? Well, I haven't seen a single macroer at Draynor for a while. They all went to Port Sarim. And why do I think they were macroing? Well, if your username is "Large Watermelon" in Chinese (yes I can read chinese, or some chinese), "Flying High" in chinese (I think), or some random six letters, with some random numbers at the end, it is unlikely you're a skiller. Skillers have cool-ish names, not "Large Watermelon". And I asked "wc lvls?" 9 times and "woodcutting levels?" 4 times. And said hi! and hello! 3 times. And they were all wearing the exact same thing. Suspicious? I think so. And they were all level 3, to top it off. And...I saw randoms hit two of them...neither responded. And...only macroers bank willows in Port Sarim. It's actually faster to burn the willows. EDIT: I meant the ones near the inn. Not the ones near the alter. The ones near the alter are pretty far from a bank...so leave those wizard-free. Rimmington willows...leave those wizard-free too. Never saw a macroer there. The ones between Lumbridge and Draynor (which I just discovered, was a great training place) can be wiz-free too. Why? Well, I'm going to assume that skillers raise all skills...including firemaking, while macroers just bank the logs to sell later. True skillers still bank, but it's not that far.
  2. Scammers, Account Traders, Beggers, Macroers (off topic: there was about 9 macroers at Port Sarim willows...Jagex needs to put a dark wizard there or something), anyone with an IQ less than one of my demented paper airplanes(lol they fly 2 feet and then do a flip and fall). Opps, 5 items...oh well.
  3. Draynor is the best place for training woodcutting, hands down. There's a bank, with regular trees, oaks, and willows withing 30sec of the bank running.
  4. 1 hit kill? I find that hard to believe. Think about it. He would have already had to kill a lesser demon. Even if he had no anti dragon sheild. It still seems unlikely. Perhaps he had low health to begin with. Very possible. Elvarg can hit 60+ with that fire breath. The lesser hits the max of eight. With plently of lobbies (16 in fact), I killed the lesser at level 49. I only have 40 hp. Elvarg will one-hit me if I try without my anti-dragon sheild.
  5. Something I always wanted to do is when the scammer misspells "jagex", go and google whatever they typed in and the tell them: "Nice to know you work for __________company." "But I doubt that company has anything to do with Runescape."
  6. keys...? and.. Didn't see that. Must have been edited in after I posted.
  7. A level 3 can get stronghold boots. My point? A level 3 can get all these rewards, too. Running through monsters...nothing. All that level 3 needs to do is to get a higher level friend to protect him/her. Plus...isn't Jagex trying to decrease the amount of GP in the game? Not increase it? The inflation's bad enough already without another way to earn massive amounts of GP in the game. Just my two cents.
  8. Is there any safespots? From the melee, not from the fire.

  10. A good idea, but maybe also an NPC that explains things on Tutorial Island.
  11. Sorry, but the spelling and grammer kinda hurt my eyes. One reason I installed Google Spellchecker. Is this F2p or P2p? How would we make the swords? (Crafting? Smithing?) What level requirements are needed to weild the swords? Do we need to go through a quest to get the swords?
  12. I always use split..that's so I can still "hear" my friend at world 16 air alter.
  13. I feel like an idiot. No wonder why I could never find anyone around the alter...I need to go inside it. And no wonder people always try to trade me...My basic stuff is black. Thx.
  14. Umm..what's the price for full addy then?
  15. Now, I know the dragon is going to flatten me. It took me 16 lobbies to kill a lesser with prayer and strenght potions just two combat levels ago. My question is what should I do now? BTW the pic is old-about 1 week ago-when I tackled the lesser. Should I: [*:mjzzrocx]Run air runes till I make 200k and buy rune armor. (And get annoyed to death by the "oh! Level 49's don't run runes! Lets trade her!") [*:mjzzrocx]Fish (and cook) till I get 200k and buy rune armor. [*:mjzzrocx]Mine like crazy till I get 60 minning, then mine-sell coal till I get 200k and buy. [*:mjzzrocx]Mine and smith till I get enough smithing to make my own mith armor. (then alch till I get 200k) [*:mjzzrocx]Woodcut (and firemake) to level 60 woodcutting, and sell yews till I get 200k and buy rune armor [*:mjzzrocx]Increase my mage and mage the dragon instead. (Where are the safespots?) [*:mjzzrocx]Increase my defense so I can wear rune armor and maybe be hit less by the dragon. [*:mjzzrocx]All of it-just for fun :D
  16. So many tuna...so few swordfish...I feel your pain.
  17. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=stronghold_of_security_map.htm There.
  18. Sometimes I'll bury bones when I'm fighting (to make room for the loot) and I was training on hill giants when I decide to bury some bones...And Leo the gravedigger teleports me. Yah..whatever Leo, I'll just bank some stuff and hurry with the grave-moving....By the time I get back, the giant's long gone, and so are the drops. And I spent 5 minutes looking for another giant to attack.....grr Leo! And it happened again. Figures. Must stop burying bones while fighting.
  19. This will get rid of those annoying 8-million-spaces-in-their-names-and-you-have-to-guess-how-many cheaters. Two thumbs up!
  20. The problem with hill giants is that place is so crowded there's like two-three of us per giant, making training very slow. Minotaurs are better.
