Assuming that your RSN is correct, maybe you're just mad because you can't use any of the protect prayers? And besides, things like barrowing and getting fire capes would be practically(barrows), and in some cases(Jad), completely, impossible without prayer. Now with quests, I agree that prayer is a cheap way out, but for anything else, it rocks. Try getting decent prayer and combat stats, go do some barrows, or try to kq, and then you might appreciate how hard it is without prayer.
