Only about 5 real friends, 3 of whom have quit. The only quests where I MIGHT have friends along are DT, and those old partner quests. The game simply isn't organized as a group game, clans are based out of a completely player run system, the closest thing we have are the team minigames, where (With the exception of TB flowers) most people go solo ANYWAYS, and do little for the good of the team. Frankly, I think that it's just too much work for the GB&JT to be interested in making RS more group based, when they have so many problems to deal with. And I honestly do most of my work solo, simply because I don't like people, most of whom tend to be shallow, short-sighted morons.

I've pretty much been at stage 4 since the beginning, the only slang that I seriously use are the 3-4 letter ones, btw, brb, and some variations of 'yes'... Not a single offense, and I've never begged, and I didn't even threaten the kid who used to live down the street from me when he lured the level 3 me into attacking a cow, and then proceeded to keep the gate shut... :

If I was suddenly dumped in the middle of a huge dungeon full of lv 100+ monsters, and if I died I would lose my character, and I had my choice of any drag wep, I'd take the long, hands down.

I did nothing but sabo for almost 20 games... I lead a beggar from lumby to fally, to varrock, and all the way back over pm, promising him 20k... I taunted my friend who is crazy over the color purple when i got a load of purp firelighters from a treasure trail... dunno :|

Well, I'm smartest in my grade, play bass, do volunteer work in the parks, have very few friends because of my beliefs concerning society, am lvl 94, have a 1367 total, and play several hours a day. No, I don't have a life. The only people with lives are the people who commit suicide because they broke up, or wore the wrong cloths to a dance, the people who's only concern is weither their parents will let them go to a party. Waaay back years ago when I started, there WEREN'T any guides, but I still turned out fine... :-w It's not the advice that makes the person, it's the person that makes the person. And personally, the guides aren't even needed. Unless you assume that the majority of new RS players are complete morons who won't pay attention on Tut Island, so you need to add a bunch of new npcs to tell them not to beg all over again, and to give them new stuff after they forget for the fifteth time that when they click on the cow, it hurts them... But we don't need to make assumptions, do we? Just look at the player population. 75% of all RSers are going to beg, lie, steal, scam, RC pk, and generally act like idiots, and we can't do much to stop them. 15% of RSers are generally good people, and they'll help new players, give advice, and make friends with others among that 15%. 10% of RSers are pretty much undecided, they fall on the line. About 7% of those will probably be influenced by the guides to become decent player, the remaining 3% will become like the majority, mainly influenced by the community around them. So you have: 78% generally bad, 22% generally good. Just my rough estimates, but in my opinion, most RSers(Mainly the ones that get in under the age limit... :| )are ruined as people before they start, weither because they are hidden behind their internet aliases, or simply because they are immature, rude people. The guides help a little, but many player will blindly charge past them, determined to get their stuff back from that goblin, or to ask that guy in the awesome red armor for his stuff, or to get that other guy to give their armor cool gold lines... Just my opinions, like them or not.

I'm just kinda wondering how ppl can say that they got rune axes(full, not lost heads) from UNskulled lvl 3 yew autoers who have nothing but a rune axe and logs... :shame: Mine wasn't directly from an autoer, but from someone who was buying bs, said out loud that he was going to go set up an autoer, didn't log out, and got k0ed by a swarm. I've already posted this some other places, so someone might know whats coming... 8-) Anyways... When he died, I was clicking like mad and got.... 840k and 7k bs! :XD: :D :shock:

Just had another one... Ok, I just joined a clan, and 6 or 7 of us were on a pking trip, and we were hanging around the GDZ when a 106 in mystic runs up, then runs away(a lure, of course, but we weren't thinking...)(We were 84-99 lvl range), so we keep after him, I see a mass of white dots at the top of minimap, we all run like hell, I drop the mouse off of the desk...>.<... I'm dead, couldn't even prot. item. Thankfully, almost everyone else made it out...
