  1. It was fun :) (I'm going back for more) Congrats on the 60 fish Gl on the rest, sire :P
  2. Might need to just make a new thread this one is kinda confusing cause of the edits
  3. This is exactly correct. I also use snakeskin bandana and boots, but not the chest and legs peices. They're a great alternative, like's been said here, for the ranger boots/hat. And yes, it's a PAIN to get the hides doing the bonno minigame, much better to do the moss le harmless, i'd say 1000% more efficient, timewise.
  4. Yeah exactly what he said. I'd suggest going to lumbridge, banking, going down into the lumbridge swamp without a tinderbox and light source, you'll die fast and be back in lumbridge like brand new.
  5. Hahah! You got what you didn't want... He loves you...
  6. So you'd say just use rune when I am fighting w/o prayer, and just swap out the prayer stuff when I use prayer.
  7. Finally, someone replied, thanks! Going to look into it right now.
  8. In a nutshell... 70s :)
  9. Yeah, PMG is just a way of joking around, kind of over-exaggerating the "omg" and ftw just means really, in essence, something is good Slayer ftw! Hah
  10. Hey there, I've recently found out how much I love prayer, and especially during slayer tasks. I just go to somewhere (like infernal mages in the slayer tower, kind of a long run...) with a full pack of lobsters, and bring my monk clothes and sara book. I can do prot from melee or magic, or whichever attack they are using, after I've run out of lobsters, and get in another 10-20 more kills each run. Initiate has got the same benefits of monk robes, +5 for legs, and +6 for chest, so it wouldn't really matter if I had the monk robes or the initiate stuff, if I were to do a switch-out method when using the protects. But, what I'm asking is, is it worth the -40 in each defense (roughly) to wear the initiate stuff all of the time? And not have to worry about switching out and bringing less lobs? Or should I just continue to bring the extra items and swap them out when I'm using protect. I've seen a couple higher level people's outfits, and I've seen them using the initiate stuff. Sorry if my question/post is a little confusing, hope I explained it well. Thanks for the help :)
  11. Check her out! The newly updated melee outfit. Took a while to get the attack for the whip, the defender, fremneck trials skills/the quest, for serker helm.. money for boots + cape, but it was all worth it!
  12. Good luck man. I'm pretty new, and don't really have any advice for you, since you've done so much more than me.. but i'll add you and keep ya talking when you're workin those boring skills :)
  13. You can find someone with 1,000 total and race to 1500 im sure.. And ps, 21k from 70 attack.. 70 attack = whip + warriors guild!
  14. Yeah I burthorped them too - I just couldn't kill them fast enough - ended up using way too much food, and having to make too many trips, was taking way too long. I suppose at higher levels it'd be nice, though.
  15. If your attack is higher than the other skills, and you use controlled, it will put more of the experience per hit to the other skills? I asked two other people and they both said this is untrue... it sounds like it is, to me, too. And about monkey madness, I wanted to put that off, specifically because I wanted a whip - and already spend the 1.8 and have it in my bank! What I think I will do is put it on training defense, and then do pest control with strength, like suggested.. But I also had a friend whom suggest just putting it onto controlled right now - he said attack should be higher anyway...and really, as I get into the higher levels, like say, mid 70s, that 400k difference between attack and strength/defense will be hardly noticable.. Any more feedback? Thanks :)
  16. Hey, I have a question for all the pros out there. These are my current skills: 68 attack 60 strength 60 defense Now, a little background info before my question.. I bought a whip, I'm working my butt off trying to get to 70 attack. My goal then is to get into the warriors guild and work my way to get a rune defender... Except the problem is, I really should be working strength after attack... Except the whip doesn't have a strength thing for training it, right? What to do? I have a dlong, but it's kind of irritating to work attack so hard (did like... 60-68 in about two days) just to be able to not use the whip.. Or I could train up defense first? Train strength up after that with a different weapon? And from then on, do it shared style? Not really sure to do... please offer some advice.
  17. Thanks everyone! the support definatly is helping us all :)
  18. Nice thread man! I'm currently working on slayer as I do my combat skills.. kind of the opposite of you. It's pretty fun and why not work two skills at once? Good luck with this man, I'm gonna keep checking in :)
  19. Wohoo! I am the trustworthy one Smile Good luck with your goals buddy.. I'm sure I'm going to be here during all of them, and even past them. Smile G'luck and I know I'm new, but you know I'm here if you need help, sire. GLUCK!
