I think if you want comp it's better to go for 99s than 98s so you can block everything except dg challenges. That's why I got my 98s to 99s.

Does that not amount to the same thing anyway? If the ticks are happening .6s apart then one could say a tick is .6s it really makes no difference to the final outcome. It doesn't make sense to refer to them as units of time though. Why not? They sort are a unit of time due to the uniform nature in which they occur in time, and the fact anything occurring in the dead space between them is part of them. Time in game can be measured by them as well, examples of that happened already with attacks taking 6 ticks or 3 ticks etc. Not to mention the 'play time' on adventurer logs is probably a direct product of measuring ticks as time to then be converted to conventional measures. Are not all units of time simple fixed intervals within the greater stream of time that can be defined relative to something else? Eg the seconds on a clock are ticks that happen at a set interval as defined by the line at Greenwich from which timezones are defined; seconds of a race are defined as the ticks of a set interval happening from when the race begins to its end. etc. When you measure seconds, you measure the time between those set intervals because time is continuous. When you measure ticks, you have to count how many have occured because they are discrete.

With the exception of farming herbs, never skill for money. Pvm or merch and do dailies to fund your buyables. Do your unbuyables first (except do prayer and herb before slayer) then spend your money on buyables. Go for x-99 if you can handle it, otherwise aim for certain base levels, I.e. all 80+, all 85+, all 90+, etc. Remember that this will take a lot of time and dedication, but it is doable.

Like I said, if they want to rewrite the engine, they should do it in C++, not HTML5. Honestly, WebGL works terribly in mobile browsers. Even the best browsers (such as Dolphin) have little to no support, and those that do support WebGL have terrible frame rates and are difficult to interact with. If they want to open up to mobile devices, they should create a version of the game in android.opengl and whatever the equivalent is for iPhones.
