You're right :P Your highest level dragonhide is cheap and effective at defending against magic attacks, so go with that.

It renders graphics without using OpenGL or DirectX. It renders the graphics on its own, without the aid of your graphics card, so it being a lot slower isn't exactly unexpected. It's only meant to be used when you don't have the proper hardware to support other modes.

Yeah, broad are certainly fast. I highly recommend doing them. Tip: do them in conjunction with livid. The xp/hour will be a little lower, but you'll get more done overall. You could also try doing it at other places.

Start farming immediately. You should be fine just doing papayas or palms to 99. Use http://www.xp-waste.com/grimy-s-reference-spreadsheets-t3.html to help pick which trees to do. Get 97 mining, to help with effigies from slayer. The best method is to drop gold at the lrc. Don't bother getting gold mining armor. Use a dragon pickaxe. Then do 95-97 woodcutting at arctic pines. Drop the logs using your action bar. An adze is preferable to a dragon hatchet, but if you don't have one, don't bother getting one. Get 99 slayer. Yeah, they should have a copy of a 2006 version; it would really surprise me if they didn't. They might also back up the databases with each update, but I'm not as certain about that. I guess I'm saying that it's certainly possible for them to be able to just load up an old version, but there is a very good possibility that it isn't. If they do, then I hope they never choose to start up 2006 servers. If they don't, that leads back to what you said.

As long as you understand that money doesn't enter the game until the bows are alched. Someone could sell the bows to an alcher and it would have the same effect.

If his goal is 200m in all skills, he is likely merching in order to afford those expensive skills. I only see him having a problem with slayer; he's 200m ranged and magic, which will reduce his xp gain significantly. He's in my clan. Both he and Conesz are going for 200m all skills but both aren't really good at making money. They plan to figure it out along the way. They do slower skills too btw. Make them start merching then.
