  1. Ugh, how can anyone profit at TMHT events will all the people there? From Ambler's death pile.
  2. Ya, you should make a publicly viewable (but not editable) version of the sheet.
  3. It's not like you lose the item once you do the clue. You can always sell it back.
  4. I thought that it was pretty much standard strategy to attack the healers to draw them away from jad? Or did they change it? I haven't played in a while so they may in fact have changed it with the fight kiln release or something I haven't had any success getting them to stop healing that way.
  5. No idea. They claim that you can stand X squares away from jad and they wont heal, or that they wont heal once you attack them, but it's all hocus pocus.
  6. Pray mage when there is a 360 up :P Supers should be fine, and ya killing jad sucks customer its a game of chance. There are people who claim to be able to do stuff with the healers, but I call BS.
  7. HOW WAS YOUR TEST ZAAPS????
  8. I think there was an argument for this as a means of eliminating a certain 'type' of botter. Some people utilising autoers were doing so merely to avoid the grind (which seems stupid to me, why "play" the game at all if you aren't actually going to play). So by having activities such as Runespan which have increased xp rates over the standard training and are less attention intensive, some of those peope may be dissuaded from botting. I understand the "ruining the game" argument for some, but if you want to play the old way, go for it, it doesn't have to change how 'you' (not you personally, just a general comment) play the game. Meh. I had a thread about decreasing the incentive to bot/rwt by adding dailies and less grindy ways to train. I'm obviously smiling contentedly now.
  9. I'm not too upset about this. It's just a limited time offer in order to get people to go. I'm annoyed by the squeal showing up again, though. It's getting obnoxious.
  10. I usually go with void + rapier and around 15-20 ppots. You can ss everything but the 360s. Pray mage and kite them instead. You'll have around a 33% chance of clawing out jad when the healers come, assuming you're overloaded and everything. I wouldn't bother with gano, since you can't tank the mage hits as well as everyone says you can and his mage def is fairly high. You'll end up using a ton of brews for a lower chance of clawing out jad.
  11. The best weapon is a chaotic maul (rapier has been shown to be comparable, at the very least). Bandos, fury, and otherwise normal slayer gear should fill your other slots. If you're off task, consider using elite void. Overloads/extremes should obviously be used. Healing-wise, soulsplit should be enough healing, but you may want to bring a few brews in case you get unlucky. The rest of your inv should be prayer potions. Make sure you stay on one side of the cavern so you don't reaggro them.
  12. If you activate it at the beginning of your herb run, the first tick will always be safe from disease. Herb ticks are once every 20 minutes, Greenfingers lasts 20 minutes. You don't have to do any timing-acrobatics. If yiu begin your run in the middle of a growth window, there's a possibility that the farming tick will occur right before you plant your first crop (potentially making server lag delay the next farming tick) or part of the way through your run, which will only protect a few crops.
  13. The ratio of slayer to melee xp is roughly 1:3 once you factor in cannoning. If you're maxed at a low slayer level, that's an extra 30m+ melee xp you need to get.
  14. The people in my class also decided to write the same weird thing then cross it out. I didn't though.
  15. I drew a whale on my AB test 2 years ago. I crossed it out though so it wouldn't get graded.
  16. In the command prompt.
  17. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AheuzHmAkHUNdFhMcmljd0ltRGhtT1BMLVhBSVhtWEE#gid=0 I gave up bothering to edit this in October, but there should be some helpful info.
  18. The original doesn't do much for me, but this version makes me think of you <3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-X_m9MfaJL4
  19. I forgot about the xp from the titan, sorry.
  20. I wouldn't trust that at all. The melee and hp estimates don't even line up.
  21. Not unnecessary when players prefer less effort. I do not belive most people would even accept gather all hit and miss. I do prefer your method, obviously. Your method works well with skilling because there isn't damage to factor in. But for something like this, you assume that the average hit is Max/2, when it's almost always going to be higher or lower. You'd have to do upwards of 10 hours to get a reasonable estimate of accuracy.
  22. I really don't like that, especially when doing something like combat where it's obvious when you make an attempt. Your method adds an unnecessary amount of uncertainty.
  23. I hate when people do that crap >.> Instead of saying 200k-300k depending on gear, gather hit/miss data and find the max defense roll. It's way less effort and gives a more accurate xp rate.
  24. How many hours do you need, Gemeos?
