If it did the rarity and impossibility to obtain through skill/money would make it a much bigger issue. Imagine you're bossing then some guy comes in whacking 700s at the speed of a rapier, stealing every kill. Or worse, pking. Thankfully this isn't the case, though. :) You're right, I was only looking at it through a purely balancing related perspective.

The list you have here is pretty good, but alot of the methods are really outdated or do not make even close to the amount of profit they used to. Fruit bat/Red spider eggs are really the only good methods other than converting some higher level pouches to scrolls. The fruit bat can make up to 500k an hour but if you semi afk while special is recharging, its more like 400-450k which still isn't bad for completely safe money-making. You alos get a handful of summoning xp too, but the amount is very minuscule. Tie in a herb run in between this too while "watching movies" and you could make well over 600k an hour depending on herb yield. Usually herb runs are excluded from gp/hour estimates, since you should be doing them regardless of what you're doing.
