  8. Is it just me, or are P.O.H's rather.. well.. boring. Most of us don't have a dungeon unless your quite wealthy. Even when you do have a dungeon, us low levels don't find them very entertaining.. thats where my ideas come in.. This topic is about additions to the P.O.H. New rooms, New items, New LOOKS, And much, much more. Please no spamming, thread-jacking, flaming, or creating a wall of quotes... ~~~~~~Recent News~~~~~~ Ive finally come out with the SKILL ROOMS! A player favorite. Check it OUT! First on the agenda.. [hide=THE SKILL ROOMS.] [hide=Woodcutting]I, personally, Are not very fond of woodcutting, but i know that MANY people are. Tired of cutting trees that die in 2 seconds cause 20 other people are cutting the same one? tired of those STUPID Macros? Well NO MORE. With the introduction of the Skill rooms, This will all be solved. Let me elaborate. *ooh big word* The room will cost 100k, along with all the other skill rooms. The woodcutting and the other skill rooms will start at lv 60 con. so that no lv 1 macros could have it.. The trees could be bought from other players, along with the farming store in Falador park where you get the plants for a garden/formal garden. The price of the trees are as follow: Normal= 10k Oak= 25k Willow= 45k Maple= 60k Yew= 100k Magic= 500k Obviously though, its not that simple.. Buy a tree.. Plant it, voila, your own macro free forest.... Try again. I have devised a clever system to make the skill rooms fair.[/hide] [hide=Fishing] Another huge skill these days is fishing. With my new Fishing room. No more annoying macros, And you only catch the fish you want! At level 60 con, you can build the room for 100k, along with a netting, and bait spot. (20 buckets or water and 10k) At level 63 con, you can build a luring (fly fishing) and caging spot. (25 buckets of water, and 20k) At level 68 con, you can build a Harpooning, big netting spot. (25 buckets of water, and 50k) Again, you will have to stock up your fish before you can catch any. The fishing spot itself will actually be similar in looks with the little pond you can have in your garden, but like 4 times bigger. (working on the picture)[/hide] [hide=~~~~~~~What you give is what you get.~~~~~~~] Plant your own personal forest, Have your own coal mine, A fishing spot for the ages. Oh sure, that would be nice. If it was that easy. Unfortunately, its not. For this example i will be using the woodcutting room. Your level 75 woodcutting. You want a yew tree. You buy one. You plant it. You try and cut it. You get some...Wait... What? You look in your message box and you read the following: You can not cut any more logs from this tree. Like Z0mfg! Whutz tats suppposedd to meen? It means exactly what it says. You can not get any more logs from this tree.... for now. The what you give is what you get system was designed by me to make the skill rooms fair. and this is how it works. When you buy something for your skill room (A yew tree for instance), You have to give it some logs, so that you can cut some logs. Let me explain. (again :D ) To be able to cut, mine, fish, etc from a plant, rock, fishing spot, etc. You must first have something to mine from it. This can be done by "Depositing" something into a yew tree, for example. When you deposit some logs into your yew tree, it will multiply the amount of logs you put in by a certain number, depending on your woodcutting level. Lets use the control of 200 logs. So you place 200 yew logs in your yew tree. Lets say your lv 75 woodcutting. At lv 75 woodcutting, The tree would multiply the amount of logs you put in by 4. So, if you deposit 200 yew logs, you will be able to cut 800 yew logs from your tree. Unfortunately, there another catch, you cant use the logs that you cut from YOUR tree to re-stock it. You must use logs that you cut YOURSELF from any tree outside of your house. The levels of multiplication are as follow. [hide=Woodcutting] Lv 20= X2 Lv 45= X3 Lv 75= X4 Lv 99= X5[/hide] [hide=Fishing] Lv 25= X2 Lv 40= X3 Lv 60= X4 Lv 80= X5[/hide] [hide=Mining] Lv 20= X2 Lv 40= X3 Lv 60= X4 Lv 75= X5[/hide] [/hide] [/hide] [hide=Gnome ball + A player owned house = BIG FUN] heres a pic: [hide=Picture][/hide] Heres the idea.. A room, 200k gp. A gnome ball field of your very own. Since im not too good with Microsoft paint, and i don't have photo shop, thats going to be the only picture you'll see. sorry. Anyways. heres what materials you'll need for a complete room, and the levels required. Room: 200k~lv 30 ( the reason the requirement for the room is so low is because you wont get the game actually going till a higher level.) Low Level Court. Wooden fence-A wobbly wooden fence circling the court.- 10 planks. 30 nails. ~ Lv 35 Wooden goal-a shaky gnome ball goal.- 3 planks, 5 nails, 2 cloths ~ Lv 35 Dumb ref :D - A referee is another thing you'll be able to buy. They'll be located in the servants guild along with the ... servants..- 3k every 5 games. ~ Lv 37 Medium Level Court. Oak fence - A standard gnome ball regulation fence circling the ring.- 10 oak planks. ~ Lv 45 Basic Goal - A standard gnome ball regulation goal. - 4 oak planks, 3 cloths ~ Lv 45 Referee - A standard referee.- ~ Lv 45 (5k every 5 games.) High Level Court Nice Fence - A mahogany fence with nice round curves, very posh. - 10 mahogany planks. ~ Lv 60 Nice goal - A Very nice mahogany fence with high-cut cloth.- 10 mahogany planks, 8 cloths, ~ Lv 60 Buff ref  - A hulky, buff, riped, cut, gnome ball referee- 7k every 10 games. ~ Lv 60 Kick-[wagon] Court (Not the real name.) Marble fence - A VERY nice marble fence, surrounding the court (its the same one from the formal garden)- 5 marble blocks, 2 gold leaf. ~ Lv 80 Posh Goal - A SHVEET goal meant for the best gnome-ballers only- 15 mahogany planks, 2 gold leaf, 5 cloth. ~Lv 80 Buff ref and cheerleaders :XD: - exactly what it says.. lol (its the cheerleaders from the gnome ball court) - 15k every 10 games. ~ Lv 85. The Court Itself. Theres not much of a difference between the different woods you can use, their mainly just aesthetically pleasing. But there is a slight difference. For the wooden fences and goals, theres a 1in 5 chance that during a game, it might break, and then you wont have any fences or goals. The difference between referees is a bit more noticeable. The dumb red just sits there scratching his belly, wasting your time and money. The standard ref is.. a standard ref. He'll pass the ball to the losing team and blow his whistle when a team gets a goal. The buff ref is .. buff.. But hes more then just that. He give encouragement to each team during the game, and again he blows his whistle when a team gets a goal, and he gives the ball to the losing team to start off with. The buff ref and cheerleaders are funny and very noticeable. The CL's will stand at the side of the court, and when a team WINS a game, they'll come out and congratulate the team, and the ref is the same one from the "High Level Court" Each team needs at least 2 people, for a total of 4 people to start a game. Depending on your defense, thats how many blows you can take before you drop the ball. Depending on your strength, thats how quickly you can get the ball from someone. And depending on your agility, you'll be able to run for longer (no duh) and you'll miss attacks against you completely. And lastly, depending on you ranged level, will affect how often you score while you shoot. Of course you can pass the ball to your team mate, and vice versa, but, unfortunately, you don't get a gnome ball if your team wins. The room itself will take up 2 room spaces (which is new to a P.O.H) but will only count as one room in your maximum allowance of rooms. The entrance will be in the middle of the court, on the opposite side of the cheerleaders would be. When you enter the court, you will not be allowed to wear anything other then boots and amulet and rings. One you enter, you'll be asked to join a team. Each team has a max of 10 players. (for a fierce 20 player game  ) Once you join a team, you'll be wearing a cape of that color. the colors are Green Vs. Yellow (so that they clash) [hide=Supporters!]Me! :D hbk_hossack zaaps1 Xx_Flare_xX arrowbld Kind Regards Dark_Leader andy_matthews FalconBomba mugglle cowmasta13 -----5 support! -----[/hide][/hide] [hide=Walking In a Winter Wonderland!] Unlike 73% of the population, winter is my favorite season. I like the cold, crisp weather, X mas And the coziness of staying inside on a cold winter night with your mug of hot coco =P~ And thats where this idea derives from. The coziness. Unlike a lot of players, i treat my character like a real player. Thats how i play all my RPG games. So, in the summer, the walls on my house are the tropical wood, and in the winter, its the basic wood, because i like the color of the walls and the floors. Unfortunately.. i cant change the ground.(with the exceptions of the fremmy and white-washed walls) Or can i.... Walking In A Winter Wonderland. Idea, 25k. Lv 30 con. Snow covered house. At level 35 con, a player has the option to have a snow covered house. At Lv 40 con they have the choice to have a snow covered house with mild snow falling at Lv 50, they have to choice of a snow covered house, with normal snow, and at Lv 60, they have the choice to have a snow covered house with a [bleep] blizzard outside. In high detail, when you walk in the snow, you'll see footprints in the last 5 squares that you walked in. In low detail, you wont. In high detail, every time your character breaths, you'll see a little puff of smoke (that mist when you breath in cold weather) in low detail, you wont. Obviously, there cant be snow IN your house, so when you enter the first square of your house, the snow stops (gardens and formal gardens obviously do not count). Lv 35~Snow covered lawn and house. -25k Lv 40~Snow covered house with mild snow-35k Lv 50~Snow covered house with normal snow-45k Lv 60~Snow covered house with Blizzard - 70k [hide=Supporters!] Me! [/hide] [hide=Beer, beer and lots of B33R!@!@]One of my most loved things in my house is my apple cider barrel. Even though I'm level 58 con, i love the apple cider barrel. I just realized something today though. theres only 5 different beer barrels that you can have in your house.. but yet.. there are many more types of beers. This update would be a small, but enjoyable one. Heres a pic of all the beers you can have in the game. [hide=B33R!] Apple cider Dwarven Stout Asgarnian Ale Greenman's Ale Wizard Mind Bomb Dragon Bitter Moonlight Mead Axeman's Folly Chef's Delight Slayer's Respite [/hide] And heres a pic of the only beer that you can have in beer barrels.. [hide=Beer =(] Asgarnian Ale Apple cider Greenman's Ale Dragon Bitter Chef's Delight [/hide] If you ask me.. theres a big difference between the number of beer that there are.. and the number of beers that you can have in a beer barrel. What i would like to see happen is that ALL beer would be able to be made into beer barrels for your friends and you to enjoy. Heres how I think the levels should be spread across. Lv 7~ Beer barrel (currently in-game) Lv 12~ Cider barrel (currently in-game) Lv 16~ Dwarven stout Lv 18~ Asgarnian ale (currently in-game) Lv 20~ Wizards mind-bomb Lv 26~ Greenman's ale (currently in-game) Lv 36~ Dragon bitter (currently in-game) Lv 40~ Moonlight med and Axeman's Folly Lv 48~ Chef's delight (currently in-game) Lv 60~ Slayer's Respite Lastly, i was also thinking of maybe a wine/alcohol counter.. A Small Counter that would Hold 50 bottles of Wine, 50 bottles of Gin, 50 bottles of Brandy, and 50 Bottles of Vodka. Then your friends could take one and drink it. The only thing is that there's a obvious down flow to this... A [bleep] idiot could steal all your drinks.. and then you'd have to go and get them again, so, maybe only the host could serve drinks? (All cocktail glasses would come on the shelves above the first one) Or maybe, one person would take like 1/4th of a bottle :-k Wadda' ya think? B33R! [hide=Supporters!] Me!
