Exactly. One of the reasons we have soldier's dying out there is because of lack of medical treatment other than a surgeon with little more than maybe a knife, bandages, ointments, stitches, and maybe some other things if you're lucky.

n a game, I look for open-endedness..and customization. Like in Fable..you can virtually make your character whoever you want. And in Morrowind..iit's basically just 'Do whatever you want, no restrictions..but know your limits and the consequences of your actions'. But you're right..if GTA had a good/evil system, levelling up and stuff....no. There is no way I would play it. Some games just don't need those elements..others should have them. PS: There already is a Mario RPG..surprisingly, it's called *gasp* mario Rpg..I think

When did you stop playing? About..march of this year. Why did you stop playing? 1. it got boring. 2. Jagex's increasingly bad customer service discouraged me in a time of need. 3. There was nothing for me to do besides constantly grind levels. Do you still keep up with the updates? Sometimes. I don't check weekly..sometime's I'll pop in to see what grandaddy Jagex gave them. Do you still log on occasionally? I sold my account a long time ago :P How has your life changed? I'm not an addict of it now..and I'm not constantly bored when I'm not on it. What do you do on the computer now? Play other MMOs..games..whatever I feel like Are there moments when you want to start playing runescape again? I've had a couple of them.

Get a car..somehow tie a shopping cart to the back of it. Get inside..and have your friends drive down the road..you in the cart following along :P Take water guns..put water in, and put in ice cubes. Let it get cold. Stand up on cars, boxes, or whatever with as little clothing as you're comfortable with, and then shoot at each other. Get said cold water guns, and squirt random people. I doubt this will work..but get a brown paper bag. Fill it with poop..any kind will do :wink: . Now stick a bundle of firecrackers or whatever inside. Make sure whatever explosive you use is of a small detonation and has a fuse. Tie the fuses..lead it out the top of the bag..and tape the bag shut, fuse sticking out. Light the bag/fuse..lay on porch..you know the rest. :anxious: Depends what you're looking for. Things with a LOT of pain..really complex stunts..random crap..real mild stuff..the possibilities are endless.

Exactly. All of the good TV shows have been cancelled..which is why I quit watching cartoons. Most of them follow the same plot, same story..t is all so predictable. The only shows that don't follow this seemingly endless trend are some anime shows..a lot of them actually have a storyline. Music nowadays consists of basically anything someone can throw together. Back then, they had riffs like the opening of 'Crazy Train', and solos like that of 'Comfortably Numb'. Nowadays, nothing impresses me..except for some metal. And now that I look at it, they don't sound like your average mainstream crap. But..I have to disagree with Video games. Sure, the ones that you knew instantly and had great fun with were amazing..but I like the ones today, also..wherever there are so many enemies to destroy and so many quests to conquer..and the depth just adds to the experience. Overall..yeah, entertainment in general has gone down the pooper.

Exactly. Because America has money, a good military, and is one of the world's strongest nations..everybody expects us to step in and do something, but we can't go too far or we might start something else. For those of you who haven't realized..Bush was kind of forced into the position he is in now. He could have let 9/11 slip by..he didn't have to go after Osama..or search for the WMDs in Iraq...but what then? How many more thousands of civilians need to die before this country realizes Bush is doing what he believes is right?

Morrowinds combat system sucks [wagon]. Oblivion owns it. I agree, combat isn't good..but I still love the open-endedness of the game. no tutorial..no objective..just a tip that pretty much says: "If you wanna fulfill your destiny in this world, go to Balmora and talk to Caius Cosades. If you don't want to, then don't. If you wanna do some freelance work, go do it. If you don't, then don't. It's your life, now go enjoy Vvardenfell."

We may not like him, but it's a lot better than who we could've had :shock: :uhh: I feel sorry for the next president. Not only do they have to pick up where Bush left off..but they've got to deal with the war, among other things. I can't help but think this..maybe Bush isn't so bad a president, but between Katrina, Earthquakes, 9/11, and the war..don't you think the public opinion he has now was kind of forced upon him, in a way?

Probably Morrowind..there is so much to do in that game. Besides that, Starcraft is looking good too

All they're doing is finding a way to put strict limits on Video Games..it's [developmentally delayed]ed. You can be addicted to anything. But putting Video Games up there with Alcohol?! Alcohol addiction can kill you..destroy your mind...actually harm you. Video Games can do nothing of the sort..except in extreme special cases.

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition (PC version) Warcraft 3 and the expansion Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Star Wars: KOTOR ------ I like GTA:VC not because you can shoot cops..steal cars..and do it with a hooker, I like it because you're free to do pretty much anything you want. Myself, I own a condo, a house, and a mansion stolen from an insane cuban criminal guy. and in Morrowind..you can *literally* do almost anything.

I say, if you don't want CRIMES..make the penalty for murder either a life sentence or death row. And to get rid of some people wanting to go to prison (I'll explain if you ask)..make it to where theyre working, and not sitting around in a cell watching TV.

But most likely he would have lost his job. ~Defender~ as it has been said above: he wouldn't have lost his job for not selling something like that, in most places it's illegal to sell games to someone who isn't in the correct age range, just like it's illegal to sell cigarettes to a minor He wasn't selling it to the kid, he was selling it to the parent. Good point there. I say he should sell it anyways. The parent obviously knows that the child is responsible enough..and unless the parent says 'He's gonna play manhunt 2', then you can't object..the employee did his job by warning the parent. All he can do now is sell it, or give a stricter warning.

To be painfully honest, probably RuneScape. I used to love it..but all it is is repetitive grinding, easy to complete quests, a HORRIBLE community (except for forum people..they're the good part of the community. Especially on these forums..not that I'm sucking up or anything :anxious: )..and terrible customer service..not to mention Jagex's general worthlessness whenever it comes to providing what is needed.

I quit RS too..so I've found a few good games to replace it. Warrock is a good MMOFPS..kind of a mix between battlefield and CounterStrike. It's free..unless you pay for one of the 3 different memberships. But most people just ignore membership. Knight Online is a decent MMORPG...but I HATE the servers. I haven't been able to log in for a week.

I got an old desktop in my room..I can't play many games because it's only 98 SE..but hey, we managed to get DSL going :D. I've also got a decent tv..where they bought a new HD Tv..they moved the old 27" back to mom's room..so i got the one she used to have. and since we never used the satellite box downstairs, I brought that into my room ^_^ Add in the fact that all my conole games are there, too..and my room's a cave =P~

I collect the ticket stubs from old movie tickets..I haven't got many, around 15 or so.

They consulted AN Eb games manager. that's one manager out of the hundreds of stores worldwide. An eb games manager also said that they went through 6 Ps3s in one week before they could find one stable enough to play at their store in New York City. In that week, 4 Ps3s completely crashed, and 2 had major bugs. Then they found one that lasted long enough tohave a console set up in the store.
