That was an image that I made, its not actually from RuneScape In order to prevent another God War, Guthix banished all gods, including himself (otherwise he'd be a super-hypocrite!) to the God realm, forbidding them from directly intervening with daily life in RuneScape. Guthix could probably come back to RuneScape, but things would have to be REALLY bad for that to happen (the Dragonkin getting the Staff of Armadyl and the Stone of Jas might qualify!)

This is a good point. If the dragonkin really made dragons then they either rules those parts of rs or they put the dragons all over rs so that 1 day they can close in on us from all the parts of rs and bring us to our death. The dragonkin will probably try to take over rs and the stone of jas. This is an interesting thing to consider. Why are the dragons in their current locations? Were they put there by the Dragonkin? Did they migrate there after the Dragonkin disappeared? How did they get into Zanaris? Are there unseen connections between the Dragonkin and the fairies?

I do not think they have changed, which means that they still ramble on about which one of them is best. Actually I meant after While Guthix Sleeps. For those that have completed it, the game has altered slightly. We got wanted posters all over Fally, new statues of the fallen warriors and new people to replace some who died. Not to mention 2 aren't even in the game currently. What I mean is that maybe some other things changed when you finished the quest. I will definitely be keeping my eye open. To be fair, there are wanted posters and the statues in Falador before the quest is started. Its just that the wanted posters depict a generic villain and the statues are shown as crumbled bases. I do think that its unlikely that the dialogue would change, with a quest this epic, however, anything is possible.

You know.... that's a phenomenal idea! Summoning is one of the stats boosted to 255 by the Stone of Jas, its entirely possible that the baby dragons are programmed with dialogue that we could never otherwise, hear. Anyone with 99 summoning who has not already done While Guthix Sleeps, help us out won't you? ;)

Sure, I can do that. I guess it is sort of hard to tell fact from fiction in that passage.

and btw who the hell was/is jas?? was he et or something? Its widely believed that Jas was an elder-god who was an active god on RuneScape before the first "modern" god, Guthix, came into Gielinor. No one knows for sure, however.

I just updated the opening post with new information regarding While Guthix Sleeps. The majority of the post has been re-written, and I've included a sort of narrative at the end, telling the history of the Dragonkin as best I can. Tell me what you think! TELL ME!!!

I finished While Guthix Sleeps on the 2nd day it was out, and I got the Ruined Dragon Armor Shard from it. I have no desire to get a dragon platebody, nor do I have anywhere CLOSE to 99 smithing. So I want to sell it. The price is skyrocketing at the moment, and I want to wait until it gets more valuable before I sell it. The question I have is when should I sell it? I was thinking that I should wait long term, maybe a month or more, before selling it. I figure the price will rise, but not that high, as people are doing the quest and selling their pieces. Once most everyone has done the quest, the supply coming from the quest will dry up, and there will only be the supply coming from the Tormented Demons. That is when, I think, the price will really rise. The only flaw in my plan is will the price of the dragon shards rise, or will just the price of the dragon platebody rise? If 99 smithers (a rather small group) are able to buy the dragon shards, smith them into a platebody, and sell for a profit, then the shards will rise in price along with the platebody. Its a risky assumption, however, because if the 99 smithers have NO incentive to buy shards to make dragon platebodies, then the demand for the dragon shards will be minimal. I'm no economist, so my idea might be flawed, which is why I posted here. Is waiting long term before selling the armor piece a good idea? If not, when should I?

I can appreciate that you're thinking outside the box, but... vindicated is a word on its own... and its a word that makes perfect sense in the given context [hide=Spoilers] While doing the quest you get a a key loop end and a key tooth end. If you use either of these pieces on a mithril dragon while carrying the other, it will fuse together to form the dragonkin key. This key opens the mithril door. Inside the mithril door is another room of the dragon forge. There are some dragon heads that, when an offensive fire spell is cast on them, will burst into flame and set in motion a series of mechanical devices which, ultimately, results in the dragon forge being filled with lava. Doing so enables this dragon forge to be used to repair the dragon platebody; this is the only way to do it, no other anvils will work.[/hide] On another note, I am going to be completely rewriting the thread, rather than just adding new sections and updating old ones. I'm thinking "Dragonkin: After the Rise of Lucien" as a working title (you just know its the most awesome name you've heard ever!) Expect to see it up on Monday! : P.S. Check out this picture I made! After seeing and reading everything I could, I think that the dragonkin are the puppet-masters of RuneScape. The dragonkin are likely going to watch over Lucien until the most opportune moment, when they will strike and eradicate him, taking control of both the Stone of Jas and the Staff of Armadyl.[/hide]

I'm currently 62/65 herblore, and I'm going to be making super attack potions for 65. I needed some money so I sold some stuff in my bank. One of the things I sold were some super attack potions I already had. Now the GE time limit has kicked in and I can't buy any more super attack potion raw materials (irit leaves or eyes of newts) for, I assume, 4 hours

I'll be doing the quest over the next few days (if it takes that long) and I'll be taking very thorough notes of anything dragonkin related. As such, no new updates will be added to the thread for however long it takes to finish, and no quest related updates at all until Monday, November 30th 8am CST (GMT -6). Yes that's right, 12am doesn't count because I still consider that part of Sunday ;)

That is a very valid point to make. I'm never really able to tell when something is history or when something is just Jagex being sloppy. The prime example of this is the dialogue saying dragon weapons come from Frenaskrae. Is this true? Or just a leftover bit of dialogue from an obsolete theory that was abandoned by Jagex a while ago? Its not as if what happened has already happened and can't be changed... in a game like this Jagex controls the past, present, and future, and can change anything anywhere any time they want. Who's to say what is intentional and what is accidental?

I agree with you that the thread has gotten kind of off-topic over the last few pages, but I don't really mind : Anyways, the main post was updated with information on wyrms and A Soul's Bane. Is there any more information available on wyrms? There really isn't much up there...

I don't know if you know this, but you can build a book case in your POH, even the lowest level wooden book case at like level 10 construction, and it will automatically store every single book from any quests you've done, plus several other books. There are few, very few, books that don't appear in the shelf, but I forget which ones.
